Great location and super kind volunteers and I enjoyed the women's only dorm. I would stay again.

I really like having curtains on the dorm beds - these dorms don't have them. An easy fix that would make a big difference. I used my towel. There are many signs about rules - One sign in the kitchen says to smoke in the main outside area or the area outside the dorms. then the area outside the dorms has a no smoking sign. All the signs threaten fines and are confusing and a bit intimidating.... I don't even smoke and was worried hahah

All staff were very helpful and friendly, fun to hang with and hard working. This was my first Hostel experience and I think it's a better way to meet people form all over the globe. Sean, Diego, Semari, Maryana... thank you all for your hospitality. I will recommend ITH Sayulita

A few nights we had the unfortunate experience of a couple disrespectful guests, but the staff did their utmost to manage the situation well. Please keep in mind, all other guests were a delight getting to know. From Mexico and the UK, Germany, Canada and even a Kiwi to keep it fresh, I'm so happy to have met them all.

The volunteers were incredibly friendly and organized some activities for guests. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen was organized. Everyone respected the policy of no noise after 11 pm in common areas. I stayed during Christmas and the hostal was kind enough to gift chocolates to guests and organize a potluck, it was very nice and delicous!

The wifi was not very good and there was no a/c in the room so it got very hot at night.

Cosy and clean room in a great spacious environment with pool, lounge, terrace and balcony. Perfect property to build a hostel on.

Wi-fi was very choppy at times and the private wi-fi in the room was not so private/exclusive as one would think, no difference to the other.

Stuff is the soul of this place for sure Quiet calm area but still 5 minutes walk to everything you need in a city Actually you’ll get everything you want - just be a bright person !

At times the shared kitchen could be crowded but you have to remember that you are sharing a facility and that’s to be expected I only mention it because you are asking. It’s not a complaint or something that would ever stop me from returning

Wifi was only available in the common areas, not in the rooms.

The mattress was a bit hard, but ok for a short stay. I love the casualness of the kitchenette area, but feel that some of the old plastic plates should be replaced with non plastic ones. Some of the pans were old as well. I feel like an outdoor street light is also needed.

We stayed in one of the private rooms with shared bathroom. It was simple, but clean and bright. The balcony over the pool made it feel airy and spacious even though it was actually a pretty small room. The staff is always helpful and nice and the community vibe with the other travelers is great. Obviously it depends on who is staying there at the time, but most of the people I met were interesting and friendly and several I am still in contact with:) I was able to relax in, or by, the pool, find quiet corners to do yoga, sleep in when I wanted (with ear plugs) and party with the other guests when I wanted to, all at the same place. They do have 11pm quiet hours which I thought was perfect. Often there would be drinking and talking, sometimes even dancing, by the pool right up until 11. Then the partiers would go out on the town and the place would get really quiet for sleeping (besides the roosters, of course, but that's Mexico, they're everywhere).

The kitchen is pretty cramped. And the cookware is pretty old, like most hostels. And there is almost always someone in there cooking. But in a way, for me, that was the charm of it. You really get to know people when you are dancing around each other in the kitchen, sharing tips and recipes and taking about where you went that day, your favorite beaches, taco stands and hikes. For me it added to the strong community vibe at the amazing hostel. It felt very much like a family to me. But if you want to be isolated this isn't the place for you. This is place for community, connections and fun.

Great welcoming hostel in a good central location, easy walking distance to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Very friendly staff and lots of activities to join if you want. I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for fun, affordable accommodation!

I really liked the design of the dorm room, toilet on one side, shower on the other, very intelligent, no waiting, plus nobody wants to use the bathroom after someone had a shower too hot and humid. The BBQ was great, air con at night helps you actually fall asleep. The pool is a bonus.

I am not a big fan of pancakes for free breakfast but it's way better than nothing.
