We had a lovely stay at this hotel. There room was by far the most traditional we had on our travel so far. Also the food being served is 100% kaiseki, so you get the whole Japanese experience. We had a very charming lady taking care of the room service and serving the meals. All in all we were amazed by the friendliness and service given. A gentleman even carried our luggage to the room. The only thing in our opinion that needs improvement are the futons. We had a few futon experiences by now to know it could be more comfortable. Even though we added some layers on top by ourselves it was still really hard to sleep on. But if you want the whole onsen/kaiseki/japanese style room feeling, this is the place to be!

The Location, very centralised with all onsen, near convenient store and all attractions in few minutes walk. The entrance was beautiful. Most importantly the service, we have a very wonderful welcoming service from all staff there, especially the younger boy staff that speak English fluently. We had the breakfast and the dinner in the room, the food was so so but it was a nice experience. There are also toilet in the room as well (with no shower, since you need to shower at the onsen).

It was a bit old but we are expecting that.

A lovely ryokan where we were treated very warmly. We travelled with three kids and also they felt very welcome. The meal was enjoyed in the room — I highly recommend to include the meal package as it’s part of the experience. The room price included access to 7 onsen establishments nearby in the village. Visiting them using the yukatas included in the room price made the visit very special.

This was just the experience we were looking for! The accommodation was very clean, even though it is old it’s very well maintained. We were very comfortable sleeping on the floor with the thick futons. The food and service were impeccable! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a ryokan experience

The room is great with semi-outdoor hotspring bath. The location is perfect in the middle of public hotspring baths. You can enjoy many restaurants around there. The staffs are really nice.

You need to be punctual for dinner and breakfast if you choose to have them at the hotel. If you want to be more flexible, you may not reserve the room with dinner and breakfast.

Very friendly staff, and great location -- very close to many Onsen.

Rooms are smoking, so as a non smoker, it was a bit stinky. Probably wouldn't get the included dinner and breakfast because there are lots of better options around Kinosaki.

The service and attention of the staff was excellent. Highlight was the authentic Japanese dinner and breakfast which was included in our stay.

The Ryokan itself is a bit outdated, it seems it has been a little while since it was last updated. It didn't bother us really though.

Great place and great experience overall. The room is cozy and cute, dinner and breakfast was exceptional, territory is green, nice and magical. Baths are also beautiful. Location is perfect, not noisy but close to everything. Staff is really friendly and nice.

Great location amidst the public baths and restaurants, lovely Ryokan hospitality with friendly and attentive staff. Great baths at the accommodation too. It's a great spot and excellent value for money.

Staffs are very helpful and active. Room is old but clean and spacious. Location close to Yunomori onsen. Parking besides hotel. Staffs help you with lugguages

My room was 2nd floor close to stairs so you can hear when people go up and down
