There was a warm friendly welcome on our arrival and we were shown to our room which had tea and coffee machine and clean towels and a selection of shampoo, body lotion and shower gel. The full breakfast (£9.00 extra) was enormous with additional toast, jam's and cereals. The Hotel also sells a big selection of real ales which is always a bonus. The hotel location is about a 15 min walk into Stourbridge town center.

There was some background noise from the kitchen extractor unit, but this went off about 23:00. On Saturday night there was a singer downstairs which we could hear until he finished around 22:00.

The ample tea & coffee were a nice touch, really well presented and welcoming, as well as the shampoo etc. Very clean room, well kept. The staff was really helpful & friendly when addressed. Even though the downstairs is a pub, you don't hear any noises in the room. We checked out the local ales on tap and were very pleasantly surprised.

Better explanations when checking in. We didn't know how to get in after hours when the front door would lock, so had to ask. The WiFi code was nowhere to be found in the room, so had to go ask downstairs as well. We felt bad having to disturb the staff a few times, but if everything had been explained at the beginning, we wouldn't have had to. Also, the tv wasn't working for some reason, until we turned it off &on again at the wall.

Good location for us. We could have a nightcap before retiring. Helpful, chatty staff. A beautiful, quirky building. Well presented room. Breakfast available at extra charge. We didn't take up the offer but it's nice to know its there. Room was quiet. May be different in the summer when outside space is in use but ...it has an outside garden. Locals were in the pub for a quiz. Nice to be somewhere that is not simply for visitors.

Water escaped under the shower door as there is an inch gap. There are no shelves in the bathroom for personal items. There isn't a towel rack /shelf so they have to stay in the bedroom area. The caddy in the shower dies not hold holiday sized products - they just fall out. Minor things but if staying any length of time would be annoying in an otherwise smashing hotel. Pillows were too hard for our pregerence. Again a very minor criticism. Nowhere to put unnecessary bed tray except on floor.

Had an excellent stay at The Seven Stars when visiting the area for work. Room was small but had everything you need. Bed comfortable. Large walk-in shower which was great. The landlady was lovely and all the staff were really pleasant. Breakfast was outstanding and excellent value for £9.50. Building had bags of character with a tiled hall and landing Also a bit of history - Robert Plant played his first gig as a 15 year old at The Seven Stars ! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nothing negative. All good

Our room No4 was clean well presented was at the side/rear and quiet, comfy bed. I had the full english breakfast, this was large and very good. Skeptical about parking, but found a space both nights.

We stayed 2 nights, was disappointed that the room was not serviced after 1st night, so came back in the evening too damp towels, unmade bed and tea & coffee not topped up. Tried to pre-order a meal in the restaurant for the 1st night as arriving late, to be told on the phone that they no longer serve food.

The room was large and very clean. Very comfy bed and fan which was a bonus on a very hot day! Train station is right across the road which is very convenient. Breakfast was huge and good quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly and the pub manager was lovely. We loved the 2 resident dogs too! I asked for a quieter room if possible (which I know is hard in a pub!) and we were given one at the back of the property. It was quiet with no road noise. Brilliant selection of cider and ales in the pub. Love the original features of the pub and would definitely stay again next time I am visiting family and friends in the Black Country.

We are Brits living in America visiting family in the area and I wanted our 19 year old son to experience a proper pub. I chose The Seven Stars because it is an Edwardian grade II listed building, serving local real ales and ciders on tap. Owners and staff were super friendly and the huge cooked breakfast was AMAZING.

The check in was a little delayed, but that was because the pub was full of patrons. Maybe tell guests in advance that if they can't see a parking spot out front to go to the train station over the road.

All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hotel room very clean and comfortable. Complementary bottles of water, with bottle of fresh water for the kettle, fan in room if needed, little bottles of shampoo/ conditioner etc and tea/ coffee with extras all in hotel room. Didn't use it but thought the coffee machine in room was a great touch. Bar its self, good prices and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast worth the price. Would 100% visit àgain. Rollo and Eric are also great hosts at breakfast time :-).

The bed was v comfortable, the room was decorated to a high standard, the shower was great, everything was spotless. The breakfast was very good quality. Loved all the original Victorian fixtures.

The WiFi password was not in the room so had to go down and ask for it. There was a green light in the ceiling that was on all night which was a bit bright and I could hear the traffic too so I didn't sleep so well unfortunately, but my husband slept fine.

Breakfast was exceptional, 10 mins walk to Stourbridge town centre with a choice of places to eat. Room very comfortable with everything you could need. Location great next to railway station. Easy access to major road network if travelling by car. Although the Seven Stars is in a busy residential area we were not disturbed by any noise and slept well (we stayed in room 4) Well stocked bar friendly staff and locals
