We didn't receive breakfast. (This was a prompt that popped up.) The location of the unit was perfect for our short stay. It was a joy to be able to walk everywhere in town. The cafe's and shops were but a stone's throw away. The two meals we shared in the Hotel restaurant were beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this unit in particular, due to it's easy access. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The first night was awesome. I think it was the Sunday night that someone else may have moved in next door. They were so noisy at 5am in the morning. We could hear everything.

The apartment was beautiful, of the highest standard, having undergone an excellent refurbishment. Our apartment was very modern with a lovely colour palette and very clean. Thoughtfully furnished throughout. Loved that it was so close to the restaurant and just a very short walk to a safe, convenient parking area for guests.

We were disappointed with the lack of respect shown by other guests visiting this outstanding establishment. When we exited our front door at 8am on Sunday morning, some disgusting individual had left a used cotton bud quite close to our apartment door and a cigarette butt had been dropped and squashed into the paving. This area was perfectly clean when we arrived on Saturday afternoon. On leaving the restaurant after a delicious meal on Saturday evening, we were horrified to find unsupervised 12-year-old boys (approximate age) throwing a large basketball/soccer ball into the new colourbond sheeting near our apartment, boasting about the dents and damage they had caused to the fence. Parents need to be held accountable.

All the little extras we miss at most other motels - face flannel, tissues, usb ports next to the bed, bedlights, good cooking utensils, good cooking facilities...nice clean and modern place. Good sized room and bathroom. Working AC - often they don't work and we have to resort to our own heater and/or fan.

nowhere to put the soap in the shower or basin and it was pretty dark outside to go to the car. Parking was a bit tricky if you didn't get there before about 3pm when all the hard core workers arrived with their huge vehicles.

Great little pub with lovely food and the staff are polite friendly and welcoming. Rooms are super comfy quiet and spacious, it had a little kitchenette and all the basics you need.

The housekeeping lady walked straight into our room while we were in bed, did not knock on the door or say housekeeping nothing just unlocked the door and barged in on us. We were so shocked and annoyed at her as we had only checked in half hour before hand and she see saw we were in our room. This was very annoying and rude especially because she didn’t seem to care just that she was putting pens in the room, however I believe the house keeping staff may be contractors?? The staff of the hotel were very good and helpful, just a shame about our encounter with the housekeeping lady. We did not allow her interruption to impact our stay, they may just wish to ensure better practices so it doesn’t happen again.

Loved the bathroom, loved loved the little lounge, loved colour scheme, loved the kitchenette. Loved high ceilings and lived room layout.loved space gor hanging clothes. Loved access to wide variety of good food down stairs. Staff very helpful and pleasant. I asked for coffee in afternoon at the bar and coffee machine was off, but staff were happy to oblige with my request and then sold 3-4 more coffees. I was grateful for staff kindness. Great value for money.

Windows and window sills were dirty, marks on velvet upholstery in our lounge. Nearby beautiful verandah had gorgeous fairy lights but had workers clutter which looked like the area serviced staff not guests. It would be lovely to see the verandah better presented. There has been a good start. The blinds are not blockout and someone standing on verandah would be able to see through gap of blind onto bed 😳🫣. Blockout blinds needed as dairy lights on all night. Front access door off street jammed so we couldn’t get in. Staff immediately helpful when we asked. We were locked out of our room before checkout as were our friends staying in other rooms. Again staff immediately helpful when we asked.

Nice decor, lovely bed. Close to all amenities. Lovely little kitchenette. Bathroom nice size.

The fireplace was hanging off the wall, I went to touch it and it looked like it was going to keel over. So not attached to the wall. Also the loo roll holder was falling off the wall as well. Lots of dust on the rack in the bathroom that held the toilet rolls etc. Might want to mention that the facilities include a hairdryer because I looked and it didn’t say so I brought my own but there was one there.

Our Victoria Hotel accommodation was modern, very clean, comfortable and well located in the town center. The hotel restaurant offered a comprehensive menu and we enjoyed evening meals in a bright atmosphere. Being located right in town provided a great location for touring around Toodyay and Avon Valley attractions. We can certainly recommend the Victoria Hotel as good value accommodation in a vintage country region. R & T, Melville WA

The hotel was very clean and up to date with modern appliances including fridge, microwave, tv, air con etc. Very comfortable and good size room. King bed was great! We even used the chairs and table on the verandah. Great to sit out and have a drink.Having the pub just next door makes it very convenient for lunch/dinner options.

The only fault I could say was there was a strong flower smell in the room. Not sure if it was just a strong cleaning product.

Location was good, we had the unit on the corner of car park, and being a Saturday evening, from about 5.30 to 7.30pm had quite a few cars go past from the drive though bottle shop some a bit fast for my liking. Especially with kids around. Maybe a couple of speed bumps?

No soap dish/rack for bathroom sink. Otherwise clean & comfy that's all we ask. Maybe a few more hooks in bathroom to hang extra towels or clothes,

We stayed upstairs in the hotel and the room had been styled and decorated beautifully. The kitchenette had everything we needed, the bathroom was enormous and the toilet was separate, which is great when there are 4 people staying. There is a huge balcony where there is plenty of room to sit out with a drink or a meal.

The only negative was there were only 2 coffee cups( and 4 of us) and only 2 tiny milks.
