Lovely accommodation on a very quiet street.Five minute walk to the busy centre of Cascais. Staff greeted us on arrival and were very helpful. The room was quite roomy with plenty of windows. Breakfast was included and was substantial. Nice touch was a welcome glass of wine. Would stay here again.

Small issue with parking. I thought we had organised parking for our entire 3 days but only to find out that someone else had booked a long way in advance and that we had to park in the street. Free overnight but 1 Euro per hour during the day. The parking is also very squeezy. My advice would be confirm that you have parking for your whole stay before booking. This problem did not detract from our time at Art 4 You

The room I got was clean and very comfortable. The location was great, and 5-10 minute walk from the water and a less than 5 minute walk from Rua Amarela where there are some amazing restaurants. It is also very close to the museum district and is just in a great location. The value for the accommodations was fantastic, I felt that I got more than what I paid for, especially with the breakfast included. The staff went above and beyond. I felt very welcomed and cared for, the breakfast was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff was absolutely lovely and very kind and accommodating. I needed to do laundry and when I asked where the best laundromat nearby was they instead called their sister property and someone came and directly picked up my clothes and had them all clean by the following morning. I would highly recommend someone stays here, I also felt very safe and as a solo traveler this is something I really need in an accommodation.

My only concern was that while my room did have a lock on it I was told that was the only one that did. It is a very safe building with staff living on the property, but that is a minor concern.

One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel! The staff were the friendliest, everything was squeaky clean, and the breakfast was more than enough. The mattress, pillows, and sheets were all comfortable and normal (no weird textures or anything). They gave me an upgrade to my room, even though they didn’t have to, and they even paid for my parking outside the hotel, despite it being my responsibility (I booked the room at the last minute, so they had no available parking spots at the hotel). The shared kitchen was fully equipped and clean, plus there was some free fruit, coffee, and tea available for use. I’ll try to adjust my itinerary just to come back and stay there again before leaving Portugal.

Art4You Hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of private homes, yet just a short walk from the beach and main attractions of Cascais. The property is small, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming – we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and varied, served in a lovely, relaxing space. Guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. If you’re traveling by car, it’s a good idea to contact the hosts in advance – they have a few parking spots available and offer them free of charge. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique and affordable in Cascais!

If I could rate this fantastic place more than 10 I would! Such a fantastic place. The staff were so nice and helpful. Especially the main man Jimmy. Thank you Jimmy, we really enjoyed your company. The staff saw it was my birthday. Jimmy presented me with cake and wine and joined our company. The staff at breakfast gave me chocolate and a lovely note for my birthday. The most comfortable bed and short walk into town. It was all just fantastic and one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Jimmy recommended a bar for us and we loved that too. A real gem. Thanks to all the kind staff who made our trip extra special. ☺️

We specifically booked a first floor room and were happy with the room and ease of getting our luggage in and out without stairs. Location is easy walking to downtown, no hills! Kris was so kind to make us a to-go breakfast as we had to leave at 6am for a flight out of Lisbon. She even gave us a welcome glass of wine which we enjoyed sitting in the nice outside space. If you use their parking be sure you have a compact car because it is extremely tight. There is easy free overnight parking near that starts at 8pm at night. Kris gave a dinner reccommendation within easy walking distance that was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay here with our friends. Everything was absolutely perfect and I couldn't fault anything. Great location, really comfortable room, nice and quiet, lovely breakfast. Best of all was the lovely staff, especially Jimmy who made us feel so welcome! It was our friend's birthday while there and he surprised us with a bottle of wine and cake, even sang happy birthday to her! Such a lovely guy! The next morning staff also brought her a lovely handwritten note and chocolate, made it so special ❤️ If you want a perfect stay with very personable service then this is the place to go, highly recommended 👌

The property was calm and clean. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and helped me with my luggage. All the necessary appliances are in the kitchen, and I could have things printed out for free. The room was comfy, with a spacious wardrobe and a big bed. The bathroom was neat. The breakfast was ready and warm. The location was good, at a walkable distance from the railway station, cafes and shops. A highlight of my stay was a seagull flying over to the veranda during the breakfast time on both days :)

It was quite chilly and wet in the room, and an air conditioner only helped a little. My room was under the roof so I had to jump to peep into the street :) The mattress was too soft for my liking, I prefer harder mattresses for their posture benefits. It came as a surprise that the reception was not available 24/7 and the hotel overall felt a bit deserted but thankfully I didn't have emergencies. The boiler wouldn't start heating automatically so I had to ask the host to check it on both mornings, which they did and corrected it. The hosts were not Portuguese and spoke little English but enough to get the message through. I would've appreciated more non-sweet vegetable and hot meals options for breakfast.

The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and we appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area and access everything we needed. And to top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious—a great way to start the day! Wr highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be returning!

I loved everything about this property. It was meticulously, clean, in a great neighborhood, great location, everything was comfortable, and the hosts were welcoming and always available. They offered a complementary glass of wine when I arrived. They allowed me to store my luggage early and late. It felt like I was with family. Also breakfast was perfect. This did not feel like a “hostel“ it felt like a bed-and-breakfast.
