A lot nicer inside than it appears from the outside. Free parking. Over the road from a beach but it was way too cold for the beach when we were there. We walked into the main city/Historic area which took about half an hour. There is a bar/restaurant on site but we didn't go there - we went to one about 7 minutes walk away. The room was cosy & warm and very quiet overnight. No tea making facilities in room but you can get free coffee/hot water in the morning from the bar. The place is funky & nice. I'd stay there again.

When we arrived we were a bit worried as the neighbourhood is run down with derelict buildings - and a very busy road - but it's a lot nicer once you're inside. And our room was quiet. We were facing out onto a courtyard so other units could look in if curtains open. This is more a motel than a hotel which is ok but not what we expected.

Location was great, the layout was good and the different eating areas (eg being able to relax with a drink on the roof) meant it didn’t get too boring. The staff were so so friendly and patient with my two children, it made the stay even better.

Nothing really - the room was a bit smaller than I had thought but that’s not a fault and it would have been fine had it not been trying to keep two young children tidy! Maybe a chest of drawers would have helped that, or some additional hooks in the room for wet swimming gear etc.

This hotel is super cute! Rooms are small that comes with more retro places. Everything was clean and well maintained throughout the day. All of the staff could not have been more accommodating. I’m an early riser so TD made more morning coffee sits comfortable. He was attentive to getting the fire pit going and even offered a blanket.

Location was excellent, staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The pool area is really nice and they stay open late . Will definitely stay here again.

The only thing that I didn’t like was my room location, but that was my fault. I booked late and got the very last ground floor room with a king bed. With that said, it was still an excellent experience and I highly recommend this property for a stay

Location was great. Staff lovely. Liked the pool and water at the pool. Drip coffee was welcome.

A bit tired - room could do with refresh. Room quite small and very overlooked.

The location/proximity was excellent for exploring the city of Galveston as well as boarding a leisure travel aboard Royal Cruise Liner. Lastly, I really appreciated the comfort and relaxing atmosphere of Hotel Lucine .

Did not have breakfast at Hotel Lucine but enjoyed several meals from the Den up on the Rooftop bar. Very pleasant!

The room was clean and very confortable and the location excellent . The staff were very friendly and attentive. My only negative would be the lighting in our room was a bit dark for getting ready etc .

Best staff ever. Food and service director was so good. Staff interests frequently to make sure you’re taken care of. Menu and food by pool, rooftop bar, and inside restaurant was epic. Experience was superior. Go support this place.

Room was on the 2nd floor next to the rooftop bar. Was loud for a good part of the night. Not too bad but I would request a room more distant to the rooftop bar next time around.
