Room was exactly as advertised. Room was right outside the pool so very convenient during the day. I loved the staff at the pool bar. It was nice that you could walk to all the restaurants at the commercial centre or the hotel would book you a taxi and it would be there in under 2 minutes. The shop being next door and selling fresh breads and all the essentials was amazing

Only thing that I didn’t like was waiting until 10 am to be able to use the sunbeds. The bedroom was on the smaller side but I think you get what you pay for given this hotel was on the cheaper side of accommodation.

The location

There was an adjoining room for families linked to our room. You could here the people who were staying in the room.

Hotel was great value for money. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The ladies at reception always gave us a warm hello and made a fuss of our little boy. Thank you for being so lovely. The staff who worked at the pool were great and provided activities for the kids. The hotel is in a good location and the balconies are a great size. We could not fault the hotel rooms.

It was noisy on a night however this is not the hotels fault. Puerto rico has a busy nightlife with a number of bars in the centre so the majority of hotels in the area will be able to hear the music on a night. If you are looking for a quieter holiday maybe choose a different area.

shower was blocked when we arrived, fixed it next day which was great but due to the flooding of the bathroom I had to put down our towels to dry floor, was then told I wasn’t allowed any towels until next cleaning day

Friendly staff, bar team particularly engaging. Quite a simple hotel, but clean and exactly what you need for a cheap break. We have been before and we will return. You get what you pay for and this one is good value for money.

Sunbeds and pool area have seen better days, complimentary transport down to the main area would be nice as the stairs were out of commission outside of the hotel this time.

Not only were the cocktails reasonably priced, but they were also impressively strong, adding a fun and lively element to my evenings. Celebrating my birthday at Servatur Castillo de Sol was made even more special with this heartfelt surprise, showcasing the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. In conclusion, Servatur Castillo de Sol is a true gem in Gran Canaria, offering luxurious accommodations, breathtaking views, and exceptional service.

However, one area where the hotel could enhance the guest experience is by incorporating regular nighttime entertainment. While the serene ambiance is perfect for relaxation, a bit of evening excitement or entertainment options would have added an extra layer of enjoyment to the stay.

Fantastic hotel. Friendly clientele & great pool bar staff. Opened 9am-11pm. Poolside entertainment.Family friendly & has a lifeguard. Hotel was modern & spotless. Comfy beds & couch. 10 min walk to centre ,15 to beach.

There are alot of steps up to the hotel it was ok for us but we didn’t realise when we got a bus to the centre from airport so not a good idea with heavy suitcases.Taxis are cheap maybe €4.Bit noisy at night with music u can here from the centre across

Lovely apartment with great bar staff and cleaners however the reception staff are not that pleasant. Lovely pool, just about enough loungers but think they need a couple more. Food at the bar for lunch and dinner lovely but breakfast was okay but the toast was like hot bread. Apartments are nice and balcony’s are amazing and the views at breathtaking especially when it’s getting dark. Aircon was great but it did cost €25 for the week but at least it’s there and you have the choice. All in all we always return and will keep returning.

Unfriendly reception staff who never look up and say good morning or evening like the cleaners or the bar staff as they are the stars .

rooms were clean .all the staff were very friendly especially lorraine who organised the daily entertainment . and the barman Dante absolute gentleman.

having to check out at 11am . 12am would make a huge difference and hang around most of the day . without having the option of somewhere to have a shower. I've stayed here many times and they always had somewhere for you shower and freshen up before you left for the airport.this is the first time there was no facility for it.
