We like this hotel it's central and usually quiet

Firstly on 2 occasions there were people smoking cannabis on the balconies either side of us, and then there was a noisy argument next to our room, also during the failure of bank machines due to power cut in Spain we couldn't pay by card for a meal in the restaurant, my friend paid at reception next evening as we went out. But on the day we were leaving a receptionist ran out after us and in front of everyone accused us of not paying, we were very embarrassed, I forwarded the card receipt to them to prove we did pay, we love this hotel but feel standards are dropping a bit,

This is a nice hotel with a view down over Puerto Rico. We booked it because we like to have a fridge/ kettle/ sofa/ dining space rather than just a room. The rooms were a good size and had great balconies, which got the best of the evening sun. The beds were very comfortable, with mattress toppers, nice duvets and good pillows and we slept well. Breakfast was good with lots of variety - fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, many sorts of bread, pastries, ham, cheese, hot food, and omelettes made to order - and there was a very good range of gluten free bread/ cakes provided, without even having to ask for them. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a limited number of parking spaces under the front of the hotel and some were really tight to get into, but we always managed to find a space. The pool area was nice, with sunbeds and parasols, and the heated pool was a bonus, plus the chillout area on the roof was a real suntrap. It was good to have robes/ pool towels and slippers provided.

As other people have mentioned, some areas look a bit scruffy e.g. the panelling round the shower was scuffed and the shower unit was attached to the panelling with one screw, so it didn't project an image of a luxury hotel, but it didn't detract from our stay. The bars in the shopping centre had music till the early hours which was quite loud despite being about 300m away but we slept with the windows closed and earplugs and it was fine. We ate in the hotel one evening and enjoyed the food, which was a buffet starter and dessert plus a main from a choice of about 10. However, we did find that the restaurants in the shopping centres gave better value for what we wanted.

The location was amazing, food was really good. We had a top floor room with a jacuzzi and the views were breathtaking. But definitely the best thing about our stay was the staff working there. They were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful, I have to mention Jennifet Cedrés since she was always present during our evening meals, she is very professional and attentive; also Silvia and the gentleman from West Sahara (apologies I didn’t get your name), thank you very much to all if you, you made our stay super pleasant and enjoyable. Definitely will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gran Canaria, specially those couples that want a bit of tranquility since its an adults only hotel:)

Hotel was very well equipped, in such a good location relative to Puerto rico bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and included some bubbly to start the day off. Room was spotless and well equipped, especially the extended balcony and hot tub. Will definitely be returning.

Residents smoking on their balconies and the smell drifting into our area. We are non smokers so wasn't too impressed.

We are just home from a beautiful week in Puerto Rico. We had a wonderful stay at servatur cassablanca. We had a room on the 8th floor, as described it had a jacuzzi, sun loungers and table and chair on the balcony. We were gifted a very welcome bottle of cava when we checked in. Room was spotless. Staff very helpful and have perfect English. Breakfast was above my expectations.

Spacious clean room with a beautiful view. The jacuzzi at the terrace is a big bonus. And the breakfast was great, a wide variety of everything you can think of. We didn’t use the space , so we can not give a review. The mall is very close, the beach a bit further , 15- 20 min walk. Housekeeping every day also very good. Free parking at the hotel. Swimming pool with jacuzzi was also very nice. And the bottle of cava in the fridge at the room was a nice surprise

Hot tub was great beds were comfortable, pool was lovely and lots of sun beds available. Poolside bar food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s close to all local amenities

The rooftop bar wasn’t great, it has so much more potential than what’s currently being offered, for example live music, entertainment during the evenings. The dinner buffet menu didn’t interest us because the food options were limited and it was quite expensive. Also 3.95 for a small beer at the poolside bar when you can get one at the shopping Center for half that..

Very friendly staff - from greeting at the reception to the bartender at the roof top bar. Also, my wife received a bottle of a sparkling wine for her birthday, which was a very pleasant surprise :) Amazing pool area with the relaxing, calm music. Good and rich breakfast meal options. Very nice roof top bar! And the best thing was the view and location - the hotel is at the heart of Puerto Rico.

The room cleaning service could be a little better - we noticed that the room floor was cleaned maybe only once or twice during our whole stay. Also, there was a time when no one changed our towels, when we left them specifically on the floor to be changed and we had to get the fresh ones ourselves at the reception.

Everything but particularly the staff. They are obviously well trained and are really customer focused! With a few issues we had they dealt with it professionally and could make decisions! In fact we had the feeling all knew who we were and were really helpful and happy to work with, from cleaning staff through to front of desk. We did have an issue with booking.com

When we arrived the hotel did not have the room we thought we had ordered but they fixed this in a very good way. What we didn’t know is that booking.com are selling the wrong rooms on its website. We ordered a superior junior suite that booking.com say comes with a spa AND hotub. On the hotels own website we could later see that it’s a completely different room! We paid for something on booking.com that was not the deal! Watch out for this and check with the website of the hotel first! I’ve loaded pictures below to show this

The room was a very good size. Very comfortable. the breakfast was short of the vegetarian option expected. However the breakfast on the whole was some way above standard. The view was an excellent one. The long and the short of it is that I will gladly return.

Their should be more of a choice in the vegetarian dishes on offer. The Roof top bar could be more guarded when high winds occur.
