We enjoyed our weeks stay at Recais Kaora, staying in the apartment with roof terrace which was spacious and peaceful. The owner Paleo communicated well and was always available with good advice if needed. Location was excellent, one train stop to Sorrento or 25min walk, bus to Positano, ferry to Capri, train to Pompeii, we also walked to Meta and caught train back. Lift down to port/beach close by 1€ each way. The guesthouse is kept very clean and tidy by Antonietia and Anna, they look after you at breakfast time too, if you have any dietary needs do let them know.

Note; if you like sleeping with window open the local Rooster may wake you 4am, but don’t let this put you off Paleo is doing his best to rectify the situation.

The place was like a boutique hotel and the host was super helpful and friendly. We had daily room services and the price included breakfast. The location was quiet and we could really enjoy some peace if we wanted to rest. Very close to amenities and bus stop if you don't have your own transport. The room had everything and it was, air conditioned well, with balcony and quite large. Very comfortable mattress and pillows.

I don't have anything really negative to say. If I would pass on a message to the host it would be to have a bit more options on breakfast in regards to bread and perhaps have options for warm dishes as an extra a la carte menu. having said that, still we were super satisfied.

From the very begining our host, Paolo, was more than helpful giving us all the necessary tips for having a wonderful holiday, even few days before leaving from home. Located in a very quiet area Kaora gave us the posibility to have relaxing evenings after full days and mornings with birds chirping. The room was big and bright and the housekeepers took care to clean it daily. One in all it was a very nice staying, the staff was always available and helpful and Paolo is the best host I met until now. That is reason I will return to Kaora soon with pleasure and I would recommend Kaora to everyone without hesitation.

Beautiful place; beyond expectations. Extremely comfortable for the three of us. My wife and I had the room upstairs and my adult son took the sofa bed. The terrace was huge; unfortunately we didn’t get much opportunity to use, due to the cool evening. The continental breakfast was excellent. Paolo was a great host. He was very friendly and helpful. Prior to arriving, he organized scooters for us and offered to organize any excursions. He provided dinner recommendations and was available for any questions we had. He met with us at departure to bid us farewell. A big thank you to Paolo.

Relais Kaora is in a lovely quiet area and we had our own terrace which was perfect for relaxing after a busy day walking/ sightseeing or swimming. It is a short walk from the centre of Sorrento which was perfect for us because we like to have a walk after dinner Paulo was really helpful with lots of suggestions and information- also happy to answer questions both before we arrived and during our stay- he was always quick to respond to any queries by phone The apartment was lovely, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed

We had the most amazing stay at Relais Kaora. Firstly, the guesthouse itself is kept in an immaculate condition and is very clean. Our room itself was spacious and comfortable. The air con was the best we had whilst in Italy which was needed! Antonietta and Anna were the loveliest ladies we met on our entire trip. So friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were spotless when we came back from being out all day and we were always met with a smile. The room has a mini fridge and had free water and soda in which was a lovely touch. The downstairs communal space is welcoming, plenty of places to sit and it smells amazing! We loved the diffusers everywhere, we wanted one to take home it smelt so nice! The breakfast was lovely and we found it had plenty of variety throughout our stay. Croissants, pancakes, fresh fruit, toast, eggs, cold meats, juice and coffee etc. The location was great, 10 minute walk to the train station and then just 2 minutes into sorrento. We actually really enjoyed the local area and preferred the local beaches and restaurants more than in Sorrento. Paolo was the most attentive host we have ever had. He sent plenty of recommendations via WhatsApp. We kept in contact with him everyday and gave us lots of places to visit and where to avoid. He’s really just the most friendliest guy who really wants his guests to have a great time and be comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in a great location, feel safe then this is the place for you. We definitely plan to return and would be heading straight for Relais Kaora. There seems to be a resident rooster in the local area and likes to be very vocal in the morning.

Breakfast was good. Lots of variety and very attentive staff.the rooms were clean and modern. Our room was on the main level and only had a small ventilation window with no view. On the other hand the room exited onto a lovely courtyard with chairs and room to enjoy the setting next to a lemon grove. The location is decent. Be prepared for lots of walking. Roughly 10 minutes to the train or bus stop to head either into Sorrento or towards Naples and Pompeii. About a 45 minute walk along busy streets to get into Sorrento. There are some decent local restaurants but we personally preferred the options in Sorrento. I would mention we tried to catch the ferry to Capri from the local marina (about a 10 minute walk) but the ferry never arrived even though there was a sign at the dock noting departure times to both Capri and the Amalfi coast. In hindsight I believe we would have had to pre book the ride online to get the ferry to stop there although we did not try do this to confirm that would work. Probably better to get yourself into the Sorrento dock even though it is much busier or at least go to the ticket office there and pre buy a ticket from the close dock. Paulo is a wonderful and helpful asset. He was particularly helpful with arrival information which is good because the location is tricky to find at first.

Location could have been better for Sorrento and the train and bus network however the price reflected that.

Very friendly host and helped us from the beginning and was always available at all times, making it very comfortable for us. We had a room on the ground floor, which was very spacious, clean and new. They literally provided us everything what we needed or asked for. The breakfast was simple but enough. The room service ladies were adorable even if they couldn't speak English.

Location is 12 minutes walk from Sant Angelo train station and bus. I didn't ask them but I didn't saw any clothes drying table.

This business was so well run. It was exceptionally clean, and the maintenance of the building was abdolutely pristine, as if it was brand new - it's been running for 7 years! The owner had thought of everything. If you wanted a bottle of wine and didn't want to go out for it, there were bottles to buy at the same cost as a store. The included continental breakfast was wonderful. Again, everything was thought about, the different milks, i.e., cows, oat, almond, etc, cheese and meats, salads, boiled eggs, breads, cereals, cake, different teas, coffee, and juices etc fantastic! We very much appreciated this as we had our 1 year old granddaughter with us, and it meant we didn't have to worry about buying food. The owner, Paolo, was available to us at all times by phone and in person when we arrived. He showed us how everything worked, told us a little history of the building, and introduced us to Antonietta, who was available through breakfast, cleaned the rooms with daughter Anna and they offered a clothes cleaning/ironing service €25 for a full bag of clothes. He had given us a lot of information about the area, restaurants, places to visit, the taxi to use etc. Thank you, Paolo Excellent 😊👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

There was only one thing that I can put under this heading. The property across from Relais Kaora has got Roosters! The 5am call was cute the first time we heard it. But then it went on and on and on from 5am to about 7am! There are two of them! Our 1 year old baby granddaughter would be woken (as we all were) each morning, and my daughter/son-in-law couldn't get her back to sleep, so her schedule was out every day 😢 Paolo said he is trying to sort this, so please don't let this put you off as this place is a gem!

this property was the perfect location 40 min walk to sorrento and right next sant agnello town which is so much more affordable then sorrento and a nice break from sorrento. the train station is a 10 min walk and public transport is very affordable stopping at all the towns. the beach is just lovely and a 10 min walk the water is clear and great for snorkelling. the b&b was clean and run by lovely people. the host helped us organise scooters we only had to say what times and he arranged everything for us. the maids where so lovely even leaving us breakfast in our room when we thought we had to miss breakfast for our flight. when our flight got cancelled they let us keep our bags behind the reception until we had to head into naples all around an amazing stay and a great base for exploring the coast!
