1st floor, easy room access for a tired traveler with a mobility disability. Pool and hot tub were much needed after a couple of weeks on the road. Insulated rooms means that 1st floor room was still very quiet and relaxing. Good water pressure in the shower. Clean linens and towels. The evening clerk, and older gentleman, was extremely helpful and kind. He seemed to easily recall guest names, and he offered a towel for the pool before I even asked for one. That name recall thing... Yeah... That's not a skill I have, or is put his name here for all to know.

I didn't like that I didn't have enough days in my travel schedule to stay a second night and rest, or go see some of the local area. No healthy on-site food options.

Beds were very comfortable. Front desk very efficient at check in & check out. Liked that they had a free shuttle into town. Room was a good size & very clean. The front desk was very helpful with looking up things & calling for transportation. The were all very helpful & kind!

It would of been nice to have a breakfast option. The day we checked out we couldn't get breakfast in town because it was packed for the holiday & one of the main restaurants was closed for remodeling. The wait was too long at most of the places we went to. Had to eat at a gas station.

I heard some bad reviews about stale smoke in the building or the rooms. I didn't smell any of that, and I'm not a smoker, and I would have been bothered by it if there was. The location was good, the room was nice, and the shuttle was nice to have. The front desk employees were great. The hot tub was a plus, but a little too hot for us we didn't stay in very long.

We heard about the bed being too hard. That was true and a little too hard for us. 2 nights on that bed was more than enough. The shower we didn't care for either, there wasn't enough pressure or the shower head was just horrible. Also, the tv only had a few channels. The front desk offered to try to fix it, but it was always at the wrong time. We just left it since we weren't going to be in the room very long.

Very spacious and comfortable room. It had all of the amenities (fridge, coffee pot, table and chairs, TV, etc.) as well as a mountain view. We also loved the year-round indoor pool and the hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

Have recently replaced the bedding and mattresses. Also cable selection has improved. New lamps and electric strip in room. New carpet in the hallways. Have worked to improve the overall aesthetics.

Once again the pool was not operational. This is ongoing and very disappointing as l was spending Memorial weekend with my grandkids. The management offered no compensation for the loss of the amenity.

The staff was very kind and the pool was amazing!

I wish they had given us a paper when we got there with some hotel information on it like WiFi info, the extension for the front desk, pool hours, food options (if there were any, I think it may have just been vending machines) Also I got a killer headache and there is a machine near the front desk for dispensing things like ibprophen and Tylenol and other stuff but it was completely empty our whole stay. It would have been so much more convenient if they kept that stocked!!

The stay was excellent, and the staff was kind and friendly.

The coffee pot had a used coffee packet in it. not a problem, the coffee had two different packages, but they were both decaffeinated coffee. I did use them, but the coffee was not good. That was a disappointment. The room was clean and that is very important, and the lobby and hallways were also clean and that is a very special bonus. I have shared the information about the stay with family and friends and I have/do highly recommend The Gold King......

It was better than I thought. They had everything we needed. A microwave refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. Also a full length mirror. I also want to thank Gary with maintenance. He was very helpful

The only thing we had a problem with was the hot tub. The boiler went out. So we couldn't use it during our stay. Other than that everything was great 👍

We were overcharged we booked from booking.com for 161. TOTAL and were charged 87.22 per night from ya'll at checkout!!! That's 13. More than quoted from booking.com which is false advertising please credit our acct with the difference!!!!

Some hair left on shower wall. Didn’t have enough toilet paper - rolls were almost completely gone & no extra in room. Used & stained wash cloth hanging in the closet on hanger.
