Truly unique place. An obvious choice for families. Kids were riding bikes all over the first two days we were here. Delightfully quirky bicycle themed decor in every room. We talked briefly with a bearded Maintenance guy who gave us a brief history of the place. A marvel of renovation was involved.
It can be a bit difficult to park in front of your unit if your neighbors are “space hogs.” Luckily, we had an area next to our unit (an alley leading to the pool) we could also use to park our car. I think it would be wiser to park in these spaces (though not all units have them) rather than directly in front as the roadway can become hard to exit when everyone leaves in the early morning hours.

Relaxed, charming property with great ambiance. Its bicycle theme is different and the room’s decor followed the theme in some very quirky ways like hooks made from bike parts. The room was spacious with plenty of places to put things, the benches at the end of the beds were really useful. Very clean room too. The reception/breakfast room/yoga studio/bar is a lovely place to relax with a big fireplace and plenty of bicycle and buffalo memorabilia to take in. The swimming pool is great to have too. All in all a great place to stay especially if you are biking or hiking locally.
Limited food option if you have a room without self catering. Food trucks on some nights and on others other night there are restaurants around.

Such a cute place to stay - cheap and cheerful! Loved the live music at night, the common area, and the friendly staff. Location was quiet yet close to everything. Our room was big and clean, with lots of places to hang coats, store our bags, etc. We’re not cyclists, but still enjoyed the biking theme. An hour and a half from Denver airport, and minutes from Colorado Springs center/old town, and Manitou Springs.
Breakfast a bit basic, but perfectly adequate. Loved the waffle maker! Nothing to do with the property at all, but might be useful for others - We were there on a Monday and a lot of places were closed for dinner. Went to a falafel place in a strip mall nearby and it was fabulous!

Love all of the characteristics of the lodge filled with art and history. The main lobby is beautiful and enjoyed having coffee and a roaring fire in the fireplace with wonderful music in the background. The rooms were fantastic huge and loved the decor. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled so good when you walk in the door. The grounds were beautiful and the park in the back with the deck was so welcoming and the views of the snow cap Mountains from our room was a plus! Although we didn't get a chance to rent a bicycle loved the whole bicycle theme and love the Western flair.
We were looking forward to having breakfast in the main Lodge but unfortunately there was no gluten-free and vegan options. And for those who are vegan or not a nice addition also would be a few muffin choices such as blueberry, banana or cinnamon. I didn't see any bagels either or maybe we missed it because we got there at about 9:30.

We loved the casual, relaxed vibe. Everyone was very friendly and warm. It was only minutes away from Garden of God's. Definitely perfect location!! Restaurants and shops only some minutes away. Complimentary breakfast included. In the evening they had local artist perform for a few hours and he was quite talented. They offer beer from local breweries which we loved and gave us an opportunity to try them out since we didn't get a chance to visit them. They also have bikes available to check out if you wish to do so. We didn't get to take advantage of it but we thought that was very cool.
The place is a different experience! If an experience is what you're wanting or an adventure something you're seeking, then this might be up your alley. If you are used to boujee places, then maybe this might not be the place for you, but my husband and I personally loved the experience!!

Loved the vintage vibe of the resort with modern upgrades in the rooms. So close to many attractions, restaurants and trails. The free bicycles available were so much fun to use and just a short ride to Garden of the Gods. Even my son learned how to ride a bike without training wheels while we were here, now he's hooked on cycling :) The staff and owner were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was live music on the weekends, a nice bar area, a heated pool, sand volleyball and a cute waffle breakfast set up in the mornings. Loved that you can park right in front of your cabin door, makes it so easy to get all your luggage in and out of your car and right into the room! Very happy I picked this cozy cabin over a hotel while staying in Colorado Springs.

We're still smiling when we think about our Thanksgiving stay at this incredible place! The surrounding area offered many opportunities for outdoor adventures, from exploring Garden of the Gods to tackling the Incline. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the community. The live music and Thanksgiving potluck were the perfect opportunities to meet the lovely staff and locals, who made us feel like part of the family.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The accommodations were exactly as described, and in many ways, exceeded our expectations. We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Loved the common area, the live music at night, free bikes, and free breakfast. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and quick to take care of any needs. We liked the aesthetic and that many locals attended the live music at night along with a different food truck daily.
The bathroom and specifically the shower need an update. The water pressure was not good and the water temperature was very inconsistent. It would go from very hot to cold and back again in a matter of minutes. If the showers were fixed, our experience would have been outstanding as it was the only negative from our stay.

Excellent value. The rooms were very clean and well kept. When approching the lodge for the first time, I thought, "yikes", this doesn't loook so good. But, this place is an excellent example of why one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. The bicylce themed decor, the interior walls, and the floors were clean and modern. The bed was one of the in which I've ever slept. It was very soft yet suportive to the body. The in-room restroom was VERY small but clean. The room rest of the room was spaciouos with a refrigerator, micorwave, coffee maker, dining table, and easy chair. The motel-style resort design means that guests can park their car right outside their hotel room door, making it very easy to unload and load your luggage and access your vehicle easily throughout the stay. The complemtary evening entertainment, provided by local bands provided a nice touch to our stay. The well-cared for pool was clean with clear water. The manager, Sarah, formally worked at the Broadmore. You could see the excellent culture she is developing amoung all the friendly and helpful employees. She, and her staff, were attentive to our needs during our entire stay. I would highly recommend this place.
The exterior of the buildings appear pretty beat up and gave us a scare until we went inside our room. Then all our fears were aliviated. I'm not sure if the outside walls were left rugged as a part of the ambiance, or if the really need to be fixed.

Exactly as advertised- a clean fun family friendly place with a great bicyclist vibe. Staff were amazing! Pool, ping pong table, grills, live music, happy hour, great food truck and bicycles for everyone! Easy bike ride to Garden of the Gods and other trails. Met other bicycle enthusiasts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If we go back to this area we will stay there again.
Parking on Sunday was difficult to park in front of unit due to popularity of private event.
