We loved our room! We both agreed that the beds and pillows were the most comfortable on our trip West (we stayed in other accommodations on our trip). We also loved the location...the downtown was very vibrant and walkable. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting...easy to navigate, from when you first pull in to valet your car, to entering the facility and making your way to the front desk. The staff were so friendly and accommodating as well!

It's not that we didn't like this, my wife and I loved our room...but there were two things that we would have added to the room. First, add one or two garment / suitcase stands to the room. Two, put the mini-fridge onto a small table...so guests won't have to bend over so far to grab something out of it, especially older guests.

The room was clean, and the hotel is in an excellent location. Right downtown in the walking area and within walking distance to the university as well. We had our dog, and we were so grateful to find a pet-friendly place to have our dog. The staff was super helpful and friendly when we checked in. We hope to stay again.

Having a small fridge in the room would be helpful and maybe a hotpot or coffee maker, though there was good coffee available in the lobby in the morning, which was super wonderful.

We loved the design and decor of the room, and the bathroom was very spacious. It was a really comfortable room. We loved the Black Coffee Roasting shop attached to the lobby, the coffee was SO good and they had great options for a quick breakfast. There's a taphouse across the street that has great beers and food.

The heater was a bit loud when it turned on and off, but not something that was really disruptive, just noticeable. It worked very well though, which was really all we cared about as the temps were in the teens!

What a charming property! Great location that’s walkable to plenty of restaurants. Extremely clean and well cared for - thoughtful amenities too. We were traveling with our pup and the staff were extremely welcoming to all of us. There was a water bowl, tennis ball, treats and doggie bags in the room, as well as a cute bandana. Good coffee in the lobby and comfortable areas to sit and read. Plenty of street parking surrounding the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendation on where to eat. Communication with front desk was very easy by text too. Super comfortable beds.

Nothing really. We didn’t see the unloading area until we had already parked the car - so maybe better signage or a note in advance would be helpful.

The Wren is perfectly situated in downtown Missoula--you can walk to just about anywhere within 10-15 minutes. Our room (King Suite) was delightful; it was a corner suite and very spacious. The front desk was kind enough to upgrade us from our Basic King Room...we felt like VIPs! Speaking of the staff, everyone was SO KIND!! We feel like we made a few friends during our 4-day stay. The bed and linens were very comfortable and we had more than enough towels for our stay. The hotel generously provides tea, coffee, water and sparkling water throughout the day. We can't wait to go back!

This is always a hard question for a hotel that was essentially perfect for our stay. We plan to stay there again and I can't think of a single thing to recommend changing. The Wren is a unique spot in Missoula.

Anyone who wants to build a new hotel should check out the Wren - our room was one of the best-designed, fun, and comfortable in-town hotel rooms I have enjoyed in a long time. Great lay-out, excellent bathroom amenities, very clean and comfortable, built around a courtyard - and above all, great service. The long storage shelf along one of the walls was genius, the lighting superb, the cowboy blanket on the bed a colorful touch.

Valet parking is recommended, and expensive. There is other parking around but not very convenient. You do need to go get your free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Very thoughtfully decorated boutique hotel - a fun outdoors theme. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Mary who checked us in super late. They had treats, a water bowl, and a bandana for our dog. He felt very welcome! The location is great - wish we had more time.

I was told there was a vehicle charging station in the valet parking area. It turns out we were allowed to plug into a regular outlet there, but there wasn't a charger. Plugging in was better than nothing, but especially because it was so cold, it would have been great to have an actual charger in the parking garage.

Uniquely themed decor; very "outdoorsy". The staff is really friendly and helpful. The bed is one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Super clean room. There is no phone in the room, so you get in touch with the staff via text. Definitely use the valet service. Otherwise it's pay-for-parking on the street and you have to be sure to pay each day by 9:00am.

It was nice to stay in a unique hotel rather than a chain. I appreciated the interior design and laughed everytime I passed the bear climbing the fire lookout in the stairwell. The staff were helpful and friendly.

There were only two small things that made the stay less than perfect. First, when I went to take a shower, the body wash and conditioner were empty, or nearly so. Second, it is noisy when people walk by the room, especially, if they have a suitcase on wheels.

Great location. Fun, energetic, youthful vibe.

I thought the room could have had more places to hang things (there were 6 hangers and no way to add more based on the wall hanging design.). But could have had more wall hooks Also some more “nooks” to put folded clothes.
