This is a beautiful, traditional family run hotel and restaurant a short walk from the harbour. There are only 8 rooms and not at all corporate in its feel. Room was well equipped and a good size. The restaurant was superb and busy most nights so it pays to book; it is absolutely worth eating there at least once. If you have any dietary requirements they make every effort to accommodate you. Will definitely be going back!

Our room did not have a balcony or outside space. When we first arrived not all of the areas of the hotel were opened up as it was the start of the season. By the end of the week (first weekend in April) all areas were opened up. The pool area was smaller than expected and close to the car park.

A small hotel within a reasonable walking distance from the promenade. Feels like a very authentic Spanish experience in a converted older building. The restaurant was excellent and frequented by locals, including families holding celebratory meals, which was lovely to see. We enjoyed seeing steak tartare and crepe suzette prepared at the table for many guests (specialities). When I asked for vegetables to be added to mains (we struggle in Spain by the lack of veggies with main courses), this was immediately addressed. We stayed in the suite which meant that you have 2 French windows heading onto patios with tables and chairs. It also had a window looking over the pool, which was therefore also very close by. Parking was easy and there was electric charging and a disabled parking space. If visiting out of season (late November in our case) please note that many bars, restaurants and hotels are closed. There are however enough open (felt like the good ones). The promenades are lovely to walk along after a nice lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (out of season) at this hotel.

At breakfast the pet cat would sometimes jump up into the food tables. Fortunately meats, cheese etc were all covered up.

What a gem! Lovely hotel and restaurant, with very friendly and helpful staff. I arrived on a hot August afternoon and was greeted with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. The pool was empty and I had it to myself for 2 hours; great to relax in and in a nice setting. The room was very nice, with a big, comfortable bed and a balcony off my room with a table and chairs - great for relaxing. The air con worked really well and was absolutely needed. The best part was perhaps the restaurant. Top drawer service from friendly and attentive staff, and excellent food. I spoke with diners at the next table who told me they travel from several kilometres away on a regular basis, just to visit this restaurant. It has a really good and varied menu and the food is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful. The delicous breakfast, also possible to have eggs, good coffee and great quality products. The staff was so friendly and they really did the best to make our stay wonderful. We really appreciated the effort. The rooms were small but totally fine. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed our stay here. The restaurant which is included in the hotel has amazing food. It is a bit more expensive but was totally worth it.

Free bicycles and beach towels in the room was really Nice!

The town was not really to our taste.. very low end restaurants and low quality people, mostly from northern UK. Luckily the hotel was a safe-haven for us!

Thought maybe the rooms needed updating

Breakfast was great. Good variety of foods, very attentive staff who were happy to help my wife with some dietary restrictions. The breakfast and dining rooms are quite nice, interesting decor. Interesting grounds and art everywhere.

Not much we didn't like and really the only minor problem was a burned out bedside reading light. The pool looked very inviting, but we were there in February so the air as quite warm during the day but the pool was freezing.

It is a beautiful, quiet place. Exactly what I needed for my holidays. The room was spacious and nice, always cleen. The breakfast was delicious. And there was always room for us in the swimming pool. The food in the restaurant gorgeous. And the hotel staff most helpful and very kind.

The property is a fanatic period property, with well maintained outdoor spaces and a great looking restaurant

The rooms are now aged and are in need of refurbishment , hopefully protur have this planned for the near future, although very clean, the furniture is aged. the walls need new paint and bathroom fittings are old.
