An excellent welcome by lovely staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast and ample tea/coffee/biscuits in our room. The guest house was right on the station but trains were not too frequent and very quiet. Also on the river Debden so lovely walks right outside the door,

Room was very clean but bathroom really small and nowhere to put your toiletries. Very good shower but the worse squeaky bathroom floor ever! As usual in most hotels only one chair in the room so not great if you wanted to stay in. But overall a nice basic little hotel, not boutique, but just felt nice to stay in.

Unique B&B, loved every minute of it. Great welcome, very clean comfortable room with a view over the station and river. The breakfasts were great, all the staff very friendly and could not do enough for you. Great location within walking distance of everything you could need in Woodbridge. Car park nearby, easy to pay on Ringo or coins, £ 5.50 for 24 hours. The building is unique, converted railway station office on a working train line so convenient for local towns and coast if you want days out. The trains and travellers were not noisy, enjoyed watching trains, boats and people. PERFECT break for 2 days. Highly recommend and would stay again.

NOT wanting to be critical, as it is made perfectly clear before booking that there are three small flights of stairs, but if you have difficult mobility issues you may struggle. I have a problem knee but I managed without struggling. The stairs are very safe with good bannisters and good landings between. Just mentioning this so you can be aware if you have mobility problems. Would still go there and cope with the stairs again. It is worth it.

A lovely welcome on arrival, room was spotless and had a lovely view. Trains passed close by, but almost silentlly so no problem whatsoever. Breakfast choice was excellent and again a very warm and friendly environment. Even the cleaning lady was friendly and accommodating. Parking outside was £4 a day and I must say the whole experience staying at the Station Guest House was a pleasure with the town and an excellent selection of pubs close by. The place was packed with period charm and old-fashioned hospitality and I would certainly hope to return.

Everything was great , location, room , view , walking distance to pub , restaurants and town just brilliant .cosy quiet room with views over the river Deben and overlooking the station but you could hardly hear the trains, if you wanted to watch the trains coming and goimg you could, the views over the river and countryside were great, showers and hot water was great. Coffees etc in room were quality everything was really good , and it was only 100 yards to walk to the old fashioned log fired pub where I ate and drank watching a log fire no juke box or slot machines. A step back in time to a nicer time just wonderful

Nothing it was all good

Lovely place to stay……bit different but comfortable and made very welcome by our lovely host. Our room was spacious….a little chilly due to very cold weather and being above the florist apparently but the extra heater helped warm it up. We had an excellent nights sleep! A great Breakfast was served in the station house cafe from 9am.

It was a little chilly in the room especially the shower room…..cold on the floor! We felt a little pressured to finish our breakfast quickly with the public wanting seats in the cafe. It seemed like breakfast could only be served from 9am when cafe opens.

Simply put... We liked everything. From the get go we were welcomed with warmth and familiarity which put us right at ease. We were in room one with a single and a double bed and ensuite, lovely decor, spacious room, excellent tea tray and nice views into harbour :) Our favourite part of our whole stay was the hostess (Carla? Sorry I am terrible with names) she was an absolute delight and one of those people who is just born to be in hospitality, the friendliest and most welcoming person you could hope to meet, nothing is too much trouble and always has a smile on her face :) Our second favourite part... the breakfast! The food in the Whistlestop Cafe is exceptional and the breakfast is full of what seem to be lovely local and fresh ingredients, sure to set you up for the day :)

Loved everything except for that the beds were maybe a wee tad too soft for me, but that is a purely personal preference, the beds were good quality, and squeaky clean with as many pillows as you could hope for :)

Perfect location right by the river and trains. Room was very quiet, perfectly comfortable and clean. Great bed. I had the double aspect room which, although overlooked by people crossing the rail bridge was just lovely, and it's easy enough to close the curtains a bit. Highly recommend a stay here, only three rooms and the manager and staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Cinema right next door and a lovely little town to explore. Great food in the pub over the road in the evening.

We felt thoroughly welcomed by the friendly Clara, the owner, had a spacious room with lovely view over the river and harbour. The railway station did not detract from sleeping well. B&B was perfectly situated for our purpose of visiting Sutton Hoo and the Sutton Hoo Ship replica workshops, near several good restaurants. The breakfast in the downstairs cafe was good, and all the staff were friendly - and the cakes on offer very tempting! Excellent coffee/tea facilities in the room with quality biscuits and coffee/tea products, plus water bottles. If we're in the area again, we'll be back!

Nothing - as near to perfect as possible!

Carla, was a great hostess, very welcoming and accommodating of requirements. Accommodation was very good and my full English breakfast was absolutely perfect.

In all honesty, it is a pretty hard to fault the place. Free parking only from 6pm to 8am. So had to run out to put £1 on car for 2 hrs so that we could have breakfast at 9am. Parking was crammed the night before but we managed to find a space eventually. Seems trivial really. Parking for day only £4. Hardly worth mentioning.

The staff was amazing I have family in town and this small 3 room B&B is well within walking distance to entire town. It is located at the rail station and the town cab service is also located there. The room was one of the nicest I have stayed in anywhere in England. And very secure. I was a solo traveler from the USA Room would easily accommodate 3 adults. The online photos are really what you get I booked because of the bathroom. Small but modern and charm at same time.Had no issues with train noise at all

Not a dislike but you have to climb stairs to get to your room. Full enclosed shower was amazing
