Very quiet with beautiful gardens, everything you need for cooking, lots of walking space with lots to see.

Cleaner didn’t clean room properly, so waited outside for room to be clean for over an hour and a half, had spoken to cleaner on arrival who opened door for us because key was not available to enter that’s when we noticed no cleaned rubbish in bin big clump oh hair on floor like someone cleaned there brush out, she told us they didn’t know anyone was staying in that chalet, but instead of cleaning it she went home. So had to wait for owner to come home to tell him who then rang cleaner had to wait longer for her to clean, bin was emptied but clump of hair still on carpet and hairs on wall of bathroom and floor, so waist of time! And we did book a month in advance, absolute lack of care from cleaner, nobody wants to stay in other peoples filth.

Away from the noise (location is quite remote from town so you need to drive for everything but that s what offers you the calm). Garden is beautiful and you get to hear a lot of birds. Matrass was very good (not too soft and in good shape). The room had a 'cachet' with its old stylle furniture (no ikea room). You have access to the laundry room.

Our studio was a bit dark. The small courtyard in frpnt of it is also envlosed in the vegetation preventing from seeing the garden. Wifi wasnt working on our arrival but the owner fixed it for the 2nd night. Yet it s pretty slow and as there is no telstra coverage there, you cant work digital there. The property is for sale so you can feel a certain disinterest in the running of the business (we only met the owner cause there was a long lasting powercut in the morning otherwise you r on your own).

It is a very comfortable cottage with 2 bedrooms for a family or two couples. The mattress was very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher. Location is few kms from Mt Gambier city so you need private transport. The property has nice entry with treelined path and lots of fruit and flower trees. We enjoyed couple of their avocados left in a bowl. We enjoyed our stay for a night on our way to Apollo Bay.

Lovely property with the ability to walk through the walnut Grove and see the roaming farm animals. We didn't see the owners in person. However, check in was very simple.

The rooms being in the upper level were extremely hot as the air con is on the lower level only and it was 36 degrees outside. We overcame this with the pedestal fan provided which was very welcome.

Location and surrounds was peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Big fridge too. Decor and style of the rooms had an old school, cosy country vibe. Patio was very private and wind protected, perfect for a morning coffee and cigarette.

TV reception wasn't the best. Bed was a bit soft for me, but I'm used to a firm mattress to be fair.

The property, ambience, atmosphere- everything is top notch to be at home away from home. We loved the stay. The property was well presented clean. We stayed at Avocado chalet - and yes there are Avocado trees around. My kid loved playing outside and exploring nature. I recommend if you are willing to spend peaceful close to nature holiday.

Only the wifi and phone signal plays some time. Can be frustrating for kids if they prefer screen time

The property is about 15 minute drive to Mt Gambier so not in the heart of things but that is why it’s nice. It was a lovely peaceful property. Lots of trees and birds, in amongst the paddocks.

Spa bath smelled mildewy when hers turned on.

Nice style of room. Rustic but comfortable . I didn't actually talk to anyone from the unit so hard to say how they were. The check in check out was convenient though.

No smoke alarm in the room at all. This was very concerning since one of the joining rooms had a combustion wood heater. The rooms were old and timber so there should be smoke detectors at a minimum.

Beautiful peaceful setting on a walnut farm. Lots of birds around and the garden was lovely with flowers. Our car battery went out and the owner was kind enough to jump start us and get us on our way. Thank you!!!

The peace and serenity was what we were after,there was other people booked there but the way it’s designed you didn’t really see them

The real noisy corellas but there’s nothing to be done about that
