The location was convenient, just 1.5 km from the town centre. A large supermarket was within a 10-minute walk, and a bar and a restaurant were just 5 minutes away. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really helpful; they clearly explained everything we needed to know about the place, and also recommended a good restaurant to us. There was free parking available right next to the building.

The washbasin was located outside the bathroom, which was a bit unusual. There was no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up to the first floor. It was not a big issue for us, though, just something to keep in mind.

1 The size of the rooms is good, especially the main bedroom is great and the walk in robe is also good. Having a two way bathroom was a nice surprise. 2 Having a carport was really a bonus, especially when it rained, as our two special needs girls remained dry and one of them reacts badly to rain. 3. Having a room that was separated from the other motel rooms was a godsend as one of our girls is very vocal at night when unsettled, as she was while staying there and I was concerned the other guests would have been disturbed by her behaviour, had we been surrounded by other rooms. 4 The spa bath was good.

Only three issues come to mind. 1. The wifi did not work. Had I been staying by myself this would not have been an issue, but we had come there with my two special needs daughters who watch movies as a way of regulating their anxiety of being away from home. No wifi caused them a good deal of stress. 2 The kitchen has no cooking facility, eg an electric frypan or a portable induction plate would have been great to cook our meals. At extra expense we had to rearrange breakfast and dinner because of this. 3 The fan in the bathroom window was broken and stuck not working. Using cutlery, i moved the broken slat so it didn't interrupt the fan blades and got it working.

Staff was very helpful, quick to respond to emails prior to stay and very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Room and bathroom was very clean. Great privacy window cover still let light through so room was reasonably bright and friendly due to white walls and linen. Rooms had all the basics, table and two chairs, TV, coffee/tea making, fridge. Environmental-friendly less-waste bathroom soap/shampoo dispensers was also a much appreciated plus.

The bedside lamps were a bit too bright, not very 'ambient' for in-room relaxation. The fridge lights were too bright at night. We had to figure out how to turn them off. The window was hard to lock completely so we took our valuables with us. The main-road location is quite noisy at certain times.

Lovely Spacious room, definitely loved the spa especially after lots of walking. Slept really well. Great little kitchen. Internet was a bit on and off but not the end of the world. Was nice to have a door straight out to the pool but we decided not to make use of it as felt intimidated by the large group of people having some sort of gathering in front of their rooms next to the pool area. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and the room and were very comfy. The man at front desk was friendly and helpful and allowed us a later checkout.

Booking was straightforward as was check in. Close to the centre of the regional city. Parking handled two cars (although reception "thought" only one could be accommodated). Washing machine and dryer provided in spacious bathroom which had a single place spa that we did not use. Grounds well maintained. We did not use the indoor swimming pool and other facilities but they appeared to be well maintained and got much use by other guests.

We were a party of four adults and the living areas got a bit cramped. The secondary bedroom was small for two adults and lacked ventilation unless the door was left open. I would assess that it would be quite suitable for a family of four with small children. It was adequate for our visit but I would not have liked an extended stay with the four adults that comprised our "family" group of us, our son and grandson. Living area TV could be larger and mounted higher.

Easy check in, they managed to organise a downstairs room from original upstairs allocation, room has been recently renovated but needed comfortable seating to watch TV, this was organised for me. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Just a couple of suggestions would be:- Improve the lighting to brighten the room for easier reading. Install comfortable seating in rooms for watching TV and reading.

The Gentleman who welcomed me at the reception desk was kind, welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. He explained everything clearly.

It's probably a bit of poor communication on my part, though I required 3 beds when ordering over the phone. I was travelling with my 2 driving age daughters for a driving and holiday experience. I slept on the single bed, which wasn't great, whilst the girls slept on the Queen size bed. I could've asked about it, though we made it work. We found the hot and cold water taps in the show hard to adjust heat. I managed to turn the hot on first, then cold on, then turned the hot off and then gently put the hot back on. Once again, we made it work. I stay at the motel for work and always found rooms 1 and 2 lovely. Room 18, wasn't as nice I though. Not much of a problem, the trip was still a great success and the daughters would love to return again some day.

Nice clean motel with a pool house. We went for a dinner to a hotel restaurant nearby (about 5min walk) and the staff kindly reserved a table for us. A good supermarket also about 10 min walk or short drive with a car.

The hairdryer didn't function. The pool was smaller than expected based on pictures but it was OK. Other guests were loud in the evening and you can also hear traffic noise so I needed ear plugs to fall asleep.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Daily service (if wanted) which is pretty rare these days. I recommend this property and will stay there again if I go back to Mount Gambier.

Not much space for toiletries. Could do with a shower caddy for cleansers. Power points for kettle and toaster hard to access in my unit. Right next to microwave. May not be same in all units.

The room was very clean and spacious, the staff were great and the location excellent. One of the best things for us was the guest laundry which was easy to use and convenient. The location was good and quiet, given we arrived later in the day it was easy to settle and find dinner nearby. A very helpful compendium was there to find local information. Really good value for money.
