From check in to Check out everything was great. The staff were very helpful and the whole process was easy. The Superior room was amazing and just what we needed. The restaurant is amazing as well - 'order the steak'!

This is the most minor of minor things, but it doesn't say in the Accomodation guide that breakfast can be purchased as individual items. Often times a 'breakfast' is a buffet or continental style thing. It would have saved one single question of the staff if it was in the book. As I said, super minor stuff, and breakfast was great too BTW.

Absolutely beautiful here. The motel was lovely with a variety of rooms and the amazing steakhouse and piano bar. Our room was lovely, everything we needed and was clean and tidy. The grounds and gardens were sweet with other facilities such as BBQ and gazebo and a tennis court that we didn't take advantage of, being an overnight stay. I would happily come and stay here again.

The room we were in (it was the cheapest option) was closest to the road so we could hear the trucks coming past regularly. Bed wasn't the.most comfortable but not too bad and that is subjective.

Restaurant is delicious (but be warned, it is expensive and requires a minimum amount per person), everything I ate I loved! The rooms are presented beautifully and are spacious, each room has a gorgeous view of the gardens. The gardens and grounds are to die for! One of my favourite things to do while staying here is to walk around the property and soak up the serenity. It is wonderfully quiet - we couldn't hear our neighbours in the rooms next to us, which was fantastic given they were pretty booked during our stay. This was my second stay, and I will come back here again and again for a quiet and peaceful getaway. I adore this property and how I feel staying here!

The TV movies (Foxtel) wouldn't play for us, we tried to watch a movie but it kept stopping and starting or the audio wouldn't sync with the images so we gave up after trying different troubleshooting methods. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom if you wanted to clean up after yourself, which is something my friend was concerned about. I personally would have also liked there to have been a spare blanket in the room, my friend had one but there wasn't a second one for myself (we shared separate beds).

Originally I called up to make reservations at The Barn Steakhouse and not realising there was accommodation available at the venue also. My partner and I were so pleased we booked and there was not one thing about the accommodation or steakhouse we could fault. The gardens are stunning, and our apartment was cosy and super spacious. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to escape the city noise and surround yourself with the peace and quiet of the country side. I can't wait to come back :)

Not an issue, but something to keep in mind. We did have very low to no phone reception most of the duration of our stay. The Wifi resolved that issue for us on site, however he did make it a little tricky to set a route on the roads prior departing for the day.

Apart from a microwave, the room was excellent and having a view out into a garden is always relaxing. I liked its proximity to Mount Gambier without being IN the city. The up-market restaurant was a complete surprise. The food was good and the service was excellent. Best of all was the accoustic quality. It was easy to chat across the table despite the restaurant being full of talkative people. Many restaurants have good food but very few are quiet enough.

TV reception in our room was hopeless on ABC, although it was apparently a problem confined to our room. I dislike anything to do with FOX and having their offerings dominant is not appealing, personally.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The room we were assigned to had a lovely small garden at the back. Due to my tight schedule, I only stayed for one night this time and didn’t have the chance to explore or relax in the garden. I hope to return in the future and stay for a few more days to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The minibar list and the items in the fridge were quite confusing. We brought our own case of bottled water and placed two bottles in the fridge, but when checking out, we were charged $4.50. I’m not sure if it was an error on the hotel’s part or if we mistakenly took something from the minibar.

Spacious & quite.

Beeping noise all night outside bedroom window near air con unit, very annoying. Property was clean except for 100’s of dead flys on all window sills etc, were obviously spayed for flys but not cleaned up later.

Nice size rooms. Decent patio and surrounding gardens. Comfortable bed. Coffee bags rather than instant was a plus for me. Smart TV, handy for our kid. Also pretty decent gym and friendly staff. We didn’t avail of the minibar but the options were better than most.

We booked a premiere king suite for two adults and a 4 year old child. There was no option for our child to sleep anywhere other than in the bed with us. Not a big issue for us as we don’t mind sharing, but as we booked for 3, an option would almost be expected I would have thought.

We only decided to stay here a day earlier and could only book a King suite. It was excellent value for money as it was spacious, with a bath and shower and a good sized bathroom. Dinner was excellent and we both enjoyed our steaks. Easy access to the restaurant and we also enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the foyer which was lovely. Friendly, welcoming staff and when the hairdryer sounded like it was going to blow up, reception delivered a replacement within 10 mins.

Not enough tea and coffee options.

It was a great room, the spa was nice and big. And the restaurant (steak house) was beautiful. It was a huge room, and their were events on at the same venue in the restaurant, and the rooms were very much soundproof. The WiFi was excellent 👌 and staff and cleanness were amazing!

The shower caddy was broken, and the hand rail for the spa was loose, so it made it a little hard to get out of the spa and the tap for the spa was a bit hard to turn. It seemed a bit seised up. Other than that, it was a beautiful room and beautiful stay.
