The Abbey Inn gave us a lovely welcome & helped to carry our cases to our room. The room was lovely & roomy & it was clean. There was a Dbl bed thats quite high up but comphy. And a pull out sofa bed that was not great at all. I could feel the springs in my back & didnt get much sleep but the 2nd night was abit better due to a staff member giving me a duvet to custion it a bit more. The breakfast was plentiful & tasted great. The 2nd night there we had a large family reunion & they sectioned off the conservatory for us all. The meal was spot on & the service was quick the staff were wonderful & could do enough for us to make our night special. The next time I go to visit my family in Scotland, I will be back there.

I didn't like the smell in the room due to the air vents outside the window above the kitchen. Maybe they could have the vents with extended pipes to make the cooking smell go high over the building rather than through the windows, it was a very hot room with heat from the kitchen & the fact the weather was hot & sunny so we had to have the windows open to cool the room. It could do with a lift as there's alot of stairs only because of those two issues I've given 4.5 star rate. But over all I had a memorable happy time.

Convenient location, repeat guest so happy to recommend. Stayed in Room 2 on this visit, clean but compact room at front of building. En suite shower & toilet facilities in good sized space. Rooms are all upstairs above the pub. It's not luxurious, but well beyond basic, with comfy beds. Breakfast is always delicious here; well portioned and served in the pub. Try the breakfast burger. Only 1 mile to Hawkhead Station, on an easy & direct route to walk or drive. Limited free parking on site, but not been a problem. Friendly staff and always a warm welcome.

Guests should be aware this in a city location at a junction, so there will inevitably be traffic. Earplugs in room if required, but we didn't need.

Staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food typical pub grub but very tasty. Breakfast - there was plenty of options and the staff were happy to meet your needs. Everything was available if you wanted it. The pub had a great atmosphere and we played the quiz on the Sunday which was well presented and lots of fun. The outside area has the wow factor and would be great in the Summer you wont be short of a seat or a TV. Its very well planned out. The bedroom we had was very small but we only needed a bed and the bed was very very comfortable the room just took some manouvering. The cleaniless throughout the whole building was immaculate from the public toilets to the private rooms I could not fault it. We were there to visit friends and family. We have stayed at several places in Paisley over the years this by far outranks the others we will definately be back!

Not a dislike but would have liked more room to manouver in the bedroom but it didnt spoil our stay

The room was small, but cozy and clean, the staff were nice and helpful, also it was really convenient to have a bar and restaurant literally down the stairs. We really liked the food and beer. The location was also good, little noise from the street, but it wasn’t annoying. We would definitely stay here again!

The water pressure in the shower was little off and on, sometimes the water just stopped and you had to wait a moment before it started to work again. Also quite limited parking space, but we were always lucky to find the last free parking space.

The venue was very clean with a decent sized room and bathroom, food was good, parking was restrictive but as I was on a motorbike we had no issues.

The venue is a sports bar with weekend music so can be noisy but the venue does supply ear plugs in the room, this wasn't a big issue for us because of the room position. My main issue is when the pub closes they lock the door leading to the front door, but there is a fire exit which can be used to enter and exit the hotel side but this wasn't expected to me by the staff member who gave me my room key which I was informed he should of done plus there's no sign by this door explaining you can use the door both of these faults spoilt my stay and can be easily rectified with better training and signs

Short drive from the airport so excellent for us for an early flight. Price was great aswell. Were able to get a table in the bar easily and all the food and drinks were delicious and well priced. Ear plugs were supplied as we were right above bar and the noise traveled. Also the fans from the kitchen were right out the window.

I can’t really complain about anything especially for the price. If I were to be really picky there was a bottle of e liquid and plastic shot cups left hidden behind a curtain but could have been easily overlooked.

Lovely place and staff. There is a pub with a very nice beer garden outside, where you can enjoy yourself and have some nice food. On the weekends there is live music. The room where we stayed was very clean and had all the appliances we needed. It was comfortable and cosy. We definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

Live music on the weekends can be heard in the room, but you have some ear plugs that help with the noise. If instead of it, you like to enjoy yourself, join in the pub, it is such a nice place to go.

Friendly welcome, we called ahead as we were late arrivals and the pre ordered our evening meal for us. This is going above and beyond and we are very grateful for this. We enjoyed our meal and drinks. We had a cute room, was small but otherwise perfect in every way for us. The decor was lovely, and so many bits included in room. Tea/Coffee biscuits, an iron and ironing board, a fan, a tv, and even usb charging point. The bathroom was also well presented with some lovely toiletries. For the price we paid we were very surprised on how good the room was. It was well sound proofed so even though it was Friday night and music playing in the bar below we heard nothing!

I wouldn't say we disliked anything.

Everything was really good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, that includes the staff in the bar and restaurant and also the really helpful chambermaid. The breakfasts were amazing, the dinners were good pub food and both were a very good price. The location was also good - an easy bus journey from the centre of Paisley.

The only thing was the size of the shower room. I hit my foot against the base of the shower a couple of times as there wasn't a lot of floor space walking into the room.

Breakfast was good for the most part (see below), freshly cooked and hot. Staff really friendly. Room was nice, warm and clean. Despite the Saturday night Bar noise (about which we were well warned) we slept soundly. Bar and Reception staff were friendly and helpful. All in All, happy with our stay and would happily stay again.

My only gripe is that the square sausage with breakfast was not very 'meaty' and tasted quite bland. Being from Paisley I know that there are quality sausages out there, in the town, and would have expected better.
