As a returning customer, the Holiday Inn at Glasgow Airport, has long been our preferred accommodation being only 50 meters from the main airport concourse, ideal for that early flight. The accommodation is of the no frills variety, adequate and clean giving hassle free access to the airport. Tip ... book the all you can eat buffet breakfast on arrival to enjoy a substantial saving rather than in the morning.

The charming Hotel team do their utmost to ensure that you have a great stay but the Inn does need lots of TLC e.g. the water was all off this time on arrival, back on at 3 pm what next time ??

We were only transiting 1 day in Glasgow on our way home. We have usually stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (also walking distance) but decided to try Holiday Inn (which was closer) this time. We loved it. Happily surprised since not all the reviews were steller. They suggested an upgrade for a small fee which we paid. The room was very nice and the breakfast was included in my booking. It was fantastic. We plan to use this hotel more. Also...check out is at noon verses 11am. Perfect for our flight back to the states. They have a nice restaurant and bar too so if you are transiting you could eat and drink there too. The food was great.

I don't have anything bad to say. It was a great place and a reasonable price.

The staff were very accommodating, and the option to have the upgrade to a nicer room was appreciated. Additionally, the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate were really appreciated when we got in late. The general decor of the room was tasteful and cozy, and the TV was great for watching an evening show on! Also, the compilatory robes and slippers were a nice touch.

The hallways and bathroom were a tad dated, but passable. The provided toiletries were bolted to the wall as well, which slightly marred the quality of the stay, but they were of a good quality. It was a bit awkward in the morning trying to get an uber to turn up, the road layout leads to difficulties getting a pickup.

When departing from Glasgow Airport we use the Holiday Inn as our preferred Airport Hotel it being only some 50 meters from the main terminal building. The staff were very helpful, evening meal and buffet breakfast tailored to taste and for the location alone value for money.

Having stayed there numerous times over the last few years we have sadly witnessed the gradual internal deterioration of this externally impressive Hotel which is now in much need of a lot of TLC !

The hotel is a typical airport hotel. Good quality and comfortable to stay while using the airport. Pleasant restaurant. Huge feature is that it truly is walking distance to the Terminal......even with luggage.

Parking!! Although it claims to be available, it is not promised and can be full. This is a huge issue for anyone with a disability. The other airport parking is just not a viable option. There is no option to be able to ensure a spot. Also, finding the entrance to the hotel and parking is difficult and not signed. Miss it and you get funneled into pay parking with no way back. And more......getting out of the car park is another nightmare with the same problem of getting tangled with various fee paying car parks, and no way back. This needs to be fixed

Location was brilliant and not far to walk to the terminal. Hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. Beds were comfortable. Free juice in reception was lovely touch.

I'm a member of IHG, but they would not accept my number as the booking was made via booking.com, it was £30 cheaper than booking direct with hotel. Staff did not seem to understand the difference between gluten-free and vegan, and did not ask about allergies when taking our food order. They were really lovely about it, but basic training on this would be good. They did seem to be very busy, so perhaps more staffing would be good too. The towel rail did not heat, which is usually standard.

Good but no grapefruit or mixed fruit - pastries too small ,- eggs left under hot lights makes them rubbery need to be cooked fresh - no omelette option. No marmalade.

Overall very good but I was the one helping the two disabled people - your staff didn't assist . IE one in a chair and the other blind. The guy in the chair had to move his dining chair out of the way on his own - no one assisted. Hot drinks I carried them to the table - equally they were paraolympians so very much switched on but a little awareness and thought from one of the staff should have been there for them I have had training with such people it isn't hard it's just going about being switched on - they were competing locally as we had a great conversation with them

The public areas are bright and spacious. It is very well decorated and has interesting tasteful artwork. The bar and dining areas were comfortable and stylish, providing both private and sociable spaces. The room was spacious and had excellent facilities. There was access to laudry and other services that could be very convenient while travelling. It is very conveniently situated within the airport and useful when fllight times are not convenient. Thew dinner menu was excellent and breakfast very good value.

Very happy with everything.

Room 429 was very nice, felt welcoming, cosy and quiet. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The ambient lighting was relaxing The bathroom was nice with a great large mirror. On check in we were told this was an executive room which accounts for the nice features, the only reason I booked this was because it was the cheapest room available, i was unable to take full advantage of the nice room. As my flight arrived at 2 30am, I required a room close to the terminal just to sleep before continuing my journey the next morning.

There was very little room when you have a hold case each. The main lighting was poor, there was no central main light in the room or at the mirror above the desk/ dressing table which is normal in hotel rooms now, it seems the lighting is best suited to younger people with great eyesight.

Very comfortable bed. Massive tv. Lovely touch with my name on it at the top welcoming me. Very clean. Plenty of tea/coffee sachets. Good touch note in bathroom that reception provide items like toothbrush if you have forgotten. Big thanks to very efficient, friendly, welcoming staff - Karyn who checked me in and James too who arranged wheelchair transport to airport which arrived very promptly. Also many thanks for the alarm call on telephone. I noticed there is a facility on tv to do this but I do prefer a human voice to waken me up!
