The hotel is very nice and warm, the staff are great.

The food was not up to standard, the fish batter was greasy, the chips was hit and miss (soft and hard), the lasagne was cheaply made and the steak well it was an expensive dish for a wafer thin steak and the onion rings were soggy... stopped eating meals thereafter.

The restaurant was beautiful and very good value for money. The room was great and extremely comfortable. Clean and tidy. The staff were very polite and considerate with ASD daughter, making us feel very at ease.

There were no instructions given at check in as to where things were which resulted in alot of back and forth with questions as the phone in our room did not work. No towels provided at the pool and unless you asked this information wouldn't be obvious. Also not enough towels in the room to cater for the amount of people staying.

We booked to stay here as it was within close vicinity for a family wedding. The hotel has nice decor, lots of seating in and around the reception and bar area. Staff were very friendly and welcoming The room was a nice size and clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely! Great selection of food, teas, bread, cereals including gluten free options which was welcomed. We liked the little terrace outside where we sat and had coffee in the sun after breakfast (it was no problem for us to take our coffee from breakfast outside, staff in the restaurant were smiley & helpful)

The beds & pillows let the hotel down as they were uncomfortable. My husband and I both woke with back & neck pain which is such a shame as the hotel overall is lovely and met the needs of our trip

Andrew bar manager was the finest example of customer care anywhere! A superb ambassador for Glynhill! Our room was bright and airy; this was especially important as we visited during the hottest days in Scotland. We requested a rubber mat for shower and it was delivered to our door literally within minutes. Plenty sockets and great lighting. Huge TV. Sweeties left on our tea tray was such a lovely thought - thank you! Dinner was excellent . Steaks both T-bone and sirloin were perfectly cooked rare and came beautifully presented. Mention must be made to staff in particular Daniel who was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions about menu and wines and also ensured smooth professional service from smiley, happy waitresses. Breakfast is a treat to start the day. The cheery gentleman chef had everything cooked perfectly and presented ultra invitingly. Waiting staff were so helpful, superb at clearing away used plates but most of all their smiley faces were a joy to behold while they worked to ensure we all had a great start to another VERY HOT day. All in all, from walking into reception, spending two wonderful days and nights we came home extolling the great feeling of having been so well looked after by everyone at Glynhill (especially Andrew and Daniel) and are already making plans for a longer stay with you very soon.

The corridors leading to our bedrooms were a bit stuffy. Please note our stay was during the two hottest day recorded in Scotland however we felt that the windows along the corridors could have been opened MORE to let air circulate.

The pool and spa facilities were the reason we booked. We were celebrating my partners 30th birthday so this was the main reason for booking. The room, while small had everything we needed. My partner got a massage and the lady was lovely.

Slightly worn down in places, especially back stairways and corridors. I had asked for a quiet room which I was given but as it being the middle of summer we had the window open which backed out to the staff smoking area so it was a bit noisy that evening and then when staff were starting their shift the following mornings.

Absolutely could not fault the staff!.They were genuine and friendly and very helpful. 🤗

Cost of breakfast!! 😞..total Rip off!!!!..I only paid for the room so when it came to the breakfast it was help yourself buffet...which offered plentiful choices, however, I only had cereal and toast fruit juice and a cup of tea-if I had time-..I had not idea how pricey it would be!!..for TWO mornings it was apparently £66+!!!!!!!!!!!!..so when I was checking out I found this out. He did reduce it to £40 for me , which I appreciated but it's put me right off going back..(for the wrong reasons) . I do usually book well in advance with breakfast included if I can...so am well disappointed!! ☹️

We were attending a family celebration. The meal was pre ordered but was very nice and everyone at the table of about 25 people was very complementary with regard to the food and service. We did not have breakfast as we don't have a large breakfast. Used the tea, coffee facility and brought some yogurt and fruit with us. We were advised on arrival that we had been upgraded from a double to a king size room.

Can't think of anything negative really. Only comment I would is make that if staying for a longer period there isn't much hanging space for clothing..

Good location for what we needed. Room was clean, spacious and modern. Restaurant was set up well for breakfast in the morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially reception staff who very quickly brought up extra tea bags late at night. Bar was well stocked with great choice.

Could not get the screen mirroring to work but choice of free view channels was good. Extra glasses could be provided for drinks instead of just mugs for tea and coffee. Minifridge in room would be beneficial to keep additional drinks and milk.

Excellent location in short driving distance to Glasgow Airport. Dinner food and Breakfast was excellent. Ample parking space.

Clearly the hotel has seen better days. Our room was in an older section of the hotel that has still to undergo a refurb. The lift to reach other floors is a pretty good concept. However the stairs up and down on the same floor but between different sections are irritating when you have heavy luggage. It has been a longtime since I had a real room key made from steel with a big keychain. Maybe it is time to switch to keycards that fit better into pockets?

The room was clean with space enough for a family. Beds were comfortable. The food was exceptional, really tasty in the restaurant and it was a great selection of options for breakfast too Brilliant coffee! The changing room in the leisure club was perfect with all the extras for little ones. Plus point for the effective hairdryer.

The room's wall seemed a little odd, also, there were 2 tiles missing in the bathroom from above the door. The short way to the leisure club from the rooms didn't feel welcoming. Improving those area would be a big hit for the future. Also, we were missing information about the leisure centre in the room. (about there is changing room, you need a coin for the lockers, you can get towels, etc.)
