The room was excellent. Only one issue- there was a wonderful bath with jets. I couldn’t use it because the water temperature wasn’t hot enough. I found this issue quite frustrating.

The breakfast was limited. There was very little option for a healthy one. Toast or bread was only supplied on request. Tea and coffee is served in flasks. It was very stewed and the tea was only like warm on one of the mornings. This could easily be improved ! A continental breakfast option would good. Possibly a choice of Scottish bread with some cheeses. Not everyone want a grilled breakfast each morning. It’s just not healthy.

Everything . The staff are outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble . There are too many to mention , and every single member of staff deserve top marks . Annie , Caitlin , Gemma , Ryan , Jordan , Sam , Debbie, Chris, Reagan , Connor , Cameron .. apologies if we’ve missed anyone . All the kitchen staff who accommodated our very late dining requests and kept us going throughout our week long stay whilst we renovate our new home . Our beautifully furnished and pristine clean rooms . Extremely comfortable bed and everything catered for … we stayed a week and it felt like home . Thanks everyone . Manor View are very lucky to have you as a team . You’re all stars . Carole &Richie

I was given a lovely welcome on arrival by Debbie and she was extremely helpful. She told me everything I needed to know about my stay. She was very helpful in arranging a taxi for me the following morning. I think that she is a great member of staff and a huge asset to the business. I found the food served very good

This is a fussy comment and I am award of that, I found the pillow in my room very hard and uncomfortable (gave me a headache). I would have preferred a softer option but all four pillows were the same. I wanted the veggie breakfast but unfortunately a few items were unavailable. I also found the breakfast room extremely cold on the 2nd morning and it smelt of smoke from the fire.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and picturesque. The gardens are very well manicured. It's a very good base to explore Scotland, being close to rail and bus services. The staff are really attentive and polite. The room we were in had beautiful high ceilings and stone walls. The entrance to our room was also stunning. We would reccomend and stay there again!

The chairs in the foyer of where room 4 is attracted guests to sit talking late, the foyer made their voices travel. On one occasion, some guests sat talking loudly over 2 hours until past 9pm. Obviously, nothing can really be said at that time so we had to endure it. It was clear the bedding and towels were of a high standard, however the duvet covers were worn and past their best.

The room was lovely, we looked out over the garden, with windows on both sides of our rooms, beautiful. The shower's water pressure was incredible! It was such a unique and beautiful facility. The restaurant was great as well, good food for dinner, our server was so incredibly pleasant and attentive. The plated breakfast was great on the 1st morning.

There was a buffet breakfast on the 2nd morning that could have been better. The staff on that day didn't seem to be too on top of things to keep things like the coffee pot or juices filled and an order of poached eggs took a bit longer than seemed reasonable given that we were almost done with all the other food by the time the eggs came out.

The room was perfect - spacious, clean and with everything we needed. The huge bathroom was fantastic! The staff were all friendly and helpful (particularly the receptionist - Debbie I think) and made our stay really special. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent. There was a wedding on when we arrived and we managed to catch a glimpse of the reception room which looked gorgeous!

Being on a flight path it could be rather noisy when sitting outside for drinks, but we quickly got used to it and were able to ignore it.

The property was in a good location close to main roads for travelling. Parking was good. Breakfast was good. The hotel is large, light and bright which was lovely too. Staff were friendly and helpful most of the time.

The bathroom in our hotel wasn’t the cleanest. It was a large shower en-suite, and unfortunately the shower head was quite dirty and did need either a good clean or replacing. There was dust in the cupboards and a lot of cobwebs. The toilet also kept me awake for most of the night as it made a humming / squeaking noise as though it was trying to flush itself for most of the night. I was awake from around 3am because of this noise. Unfortunately we weren’t asked about our stay by the receptionist so we didn’t get to share any of this information. I am a Highland Games athlete who is travelling up to Scotland every weekend from May-September and would’ve stayed here again if it was cleaner and we were treat a little bit better by the receptionist upon leaving.

The hotel is in a very well taken care of building and the room was nice and big in the corner, with two windows. It was so brilliantly decorated and taken care of. Comfortable bed and well laid out bathroom. Good and diverse breakfast choice. Staff was helpful and welcoming. The restaurant for dinner had good choices and alright prices. Great hotel that I'd love to go back to.

The only annoying part is that the hotel sits on the flight path of Glasgow airport and there are planes landing every few minutes at any hour of the day or night. The sound can go up to 60 decibels. It woke me up several times during the night.

Lovely building and grounds. The twin room was spacious with all facilities needed, including tea and coffee facilities as well as iron and ironing board. The restaurant was fine and there was lots of outdoor seating. The food was fine, not gourmet but tasty enough. The location was good for our requirements with the station a 15 minuite walk away.plenty of parking available at hotel.

Breakfast was buffet style rather than that advertised.online. Although good as a base nothing of interest around hotel itself.

Google maps was very accurate, takes you to the door. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfy beds and pillows and a good sized shower. Gardens and indoor outdoor seating all lovely.

The hairdryer was poor, especially for long hair. The aeroplane noise is a little unnerving to begin with. They appear to fly very low. Staff at reception were unfriendly and didn't make me feel very welcome. In the morning I kept being woken up by the cleaning staff chatting loudly. So between that and the planes I didn't have the longest sleep.
