Very handy for the airport. Nice clean room.

The hotel is within walking distance of the airport and in fact the hotel provides a map showing the walking route. Whilst there is a pedestrian crossing across a very busy road, unfortunately the pedestrian phase has been switched it off, presumably by the airport. It's not a public road. Getting two young children and luggage across this road, is not an experience I would like to repeat. Given that this is on the hotel's recommended walking route, I believe that the hotel should lobby the airport, to have the pedestrian crossing switched on again.

The strongest selling point is this hotel's walking distance from the airport terminal. It met all of our other expectations of a Courtyard property.

There were some little annoyances, such as charging for parking (totally understandable given its location adjacent to the airport), only one elevator from the reception area, and paying 1 pound to weigh your bags to make sure they were not overweight (offering this as a free service would have been a great "delight the customer" feature). The front desk was understaffed during the early evening hours, with only one person handling check-ins (which he did very efficiently, however).

We were so impressed with the lady on reception when we arrived at reception at 08:30 - 6.5 hours before check-in - after a bit of a nightmare journey due to Storm Darragh. We hadn't realised that our Bonvoy membership entitled us to a free early check-in - this was so welcome. Excellent room, great shower, huge bed and evening meal was really nice for an airport hotel.

It isn't the easiest to walk to the hotel from the airport (it is once you know how!) and a warning DON'T follow Google maps walking route - it has you walking along a busy road with no pavements!

The Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport is exactly what you’d expect from a well-run airport hotel of this brand: clean, efficient, and comfortable, with a consistently good standard. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the terminal, yet located in a quiet area – ideal for those with early departures or late arrivals. The rooms are modern and functional, with a large, comfortable bed and a well-maintained bathroom. Toiletries are provided, and everything felt clean and in good order. Reception is staffed 24/7, which is helpful when travelling at odd hours. There’s a small restaurant and bar area downstairs, serving breakfast and evening meals, as well as a minimarket offering drinks and pre-packaged snacks – convenient for a quick bite if you’re arriving late or leaving early.

This is not a hotel with character or charm – it’s a standard business-style property, built for functionality rather than atmosphere. That said, it delivers exactly what it promises: a reliable and comfortable stay right next to the airport. For us, it was the practical location that made it the right choice.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The lady who checked us in was so welcoming and friendly. We were staying overnight before travelling to Rome for my Mums 70th Birthday, and we received an unexpected room upgrade which was a brilliant surprise. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with two double beds. We booked dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and the service again was great. Another member of staff was very helpful & booked us a taxi for the early departure the next day to the airport - my mum doesn't have great mobility. I would highly recommend staying here!

Bed was super comfortable. Shower was amazing…. Two adjustments… temperature and power. The highest power was fantastic … like a massage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Good selection of complimentary beverages in the room.

It says there is a “walkway” to the airport.. I thought it would be tarmac. It was a whole mix of surfaces including uneven slabs and bumpy slopes that made it difficult to push my spinner suitcases! Similarly - carpets in corridors not sensible for wheels suitcases - hard to push my cases. They had one of those awful coffee machines in the dining room - terrible coffee. Why do they go to all that effort to produce good food and then give terrible coffee! Awful coffee mugs. Taxi from airport at 2am cost me £15 - I think the hotel should have a shuttle service. Airport Express (500) bus - single to Glasgow Central train station cost £11… but good provision on the double decker bus for everyone’s luggage.

Excellent room with the largest of beds. Very clean and tidy room. One point there was no coffee or decaf coffee satches at all. Apart from that excellent!

We booked dinner in the Hotels Bistro. Only one of the staff serving all tables and doing her very best, now and then an assistant came round clearing tables and serving some of the drinks. We ordered 2 glasses of white wine, Pinot Grigio, and the wine was warm and not chilled at all. We asked for some ice to taste it better. Also, the Gnocchi dish ordered had more broad beans than the Gnocchi, very poor! Desserts were excellent, thanks.

This is an ideal hotel for an overnight stay or longer if using the airport or visiting the area. If arriving by air, although slightly further away from th terminal than some other hotels, the walk is just 10mins [if that], and easy with a signposted route. Its a large comfortable hotel, with nice spacey rooms and an excellent shower [always key for me]. The breakfast was excellent and varied. I didnt use the gym, but it looks a proper one, and the bar seems to stay open for ever. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay here again

The place is very emaculate clean and comfortable. Very nice staff. Reception was very polite and had a smiling face. Very near the airport ( just come out of the airport door, walk into the parking and keep walking a bit on left side and come out of the parking on the road , you will see Holiday inn express, walk towards it and as you come closer you will see a second parking lot walk into this parking you will also see a overhead flyover, walk to the other side of the parking lot and you will see a walking ramp taking you to the right, you will come on a road , keep walking and you will see the Hotel , just cross the road at the traffic light and go to the other side so that you can go in the Hotel.) It’s just 5-7 minute’s walk. Easy Drinking water bottle was a great thing and the magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a great bonus. The bus from the airport to the city centre was so easy and there is much frequency . Remember to take return ticket for bus- it’s cheaper

From the reception there are no signs directing towards the lifts, one has to keep opening doors to reach the lift. Signage showing directions will help.

Think there should be a rate for people just basically using room for a few hours to fly.
