Always liked the Normandy. Clean, the food was lovely in a lovely restaurant.

Shortage of staff in the morning. No staff in dining room. Coffee machine wasn’t working and nobody around to help.

Comfortable rooms and great shower pressure 😁

Ubers avoid picking up here, so that made it difficult.

Booked double room for 3 nights. Away to relax? The room allocated was a twin room and although nice large room but we requested a double room. We had our dog with us and stayed here before with the dog, I immediately reported this to reception to be told the room allocated, at our previous stay, was not pet friendly, which we refuted as we had our dog with us on both occasions. We were moved to another room which we were informed was a recently refurbished room and not normally pet friendly. This was a much nicer room in all ways although smaller was much better room. "

Not a lot after we were moved without any fuss or argument

We had quite a bit of trouble finding the hotel. The address on the website did not give clear enough address information for our Sat Nav to locate it. It took us miles away in another direction the first time. After calling the hotel for assistance, they still could not give us a street number or clear instructions as to how to get there from where we were. Google maps also had difficulty finding the hotel, again due to inadequate address information. We spent an extra 1 1/2 hours trying to find this hotel.

Everything, really couldn’t fault anything, well maybe our room was a bit small, apart from that everything was amazing, we had our 2 wee doggies with us, the location was great for walking them, they came with us for dinner, they came with us everywhere, was a bit wary at first taking them as they yap normally at everything that passes ,but no they did us proud,as long as they had their blanket they lay nice lol ,staff were all so very helpful and friendly , The second room for my daughter was massive, the location was great for her for Trnsmt, all in all an amazing weekend away , The food was also amazing, we had dinner bed and breakfast for 3 nights, enjoyed it all , a good choice too , will be back 😃

Room was absolutely spotless with very comfortable beds. Also had a bath with overhead shower, rather than just a walk in shower. Our room was at the back(I requested a quiet room), and although there was a function on at night we didn't hear a thing. Also the room view was nice. This hotel is a five minute drive from Glasgow Airport.

The only downside to the hotel was breakfast- although the buffet was plentiful and fresh, it was luke warm and cold plates.

We always stay over here before flying from Glasgow airport and leave our car here it stays on site and you keep your keys. The staff are always really friendly. It is really close to the airport and their shuttle service runs every 30mins. We ate in the restaurant for evening meal and the food was nice.

We were on the 2nd floor and the rooms are a little dated but for a one night stay before flying out it’s fine.

I am surprised by some of the poor reviews. We used this a one-nighter before an early flight (we did not do breakfast) and I was very happy. Good room, good TV, bathroom. Easy checkin, Good restaurant on-site. Good price. Shuttle to the airport for a price (about the same as a taxi - no point in waiting for it to go to the hotel, but it is convenient to have it booked for return). Ample parking. Much cheaper than the hotels closer to the airport.

For an "airport" hotel there were no disadvantages.

It was nice and central to everything we needed to do

The toilet roll holder was missing and it was annoying having to look for the loo roll. No maid service, so bins not emptied, no change of towels and tea, coffee and milk not replenished. I was able to ask at reception for these but it was annoying. I think the price was high due to its close proximity to Glasgow airport and it offered shuttle service to the airport, which we didn’t require.

the room was comfortable, clean and tidy. We ate in the restuarant one evening and unfortunately my partner had the fish in batter which was far too greasy and not crispy as it should have been.

The fish batter could have been cooked properly. The room was very hot and felt like the heating was on but it was an exceptionally hot weekend. I think some air conditioning might help.
