We had a room on the ground floor, on the back of the hotel. Room terrace was protected from the street and other premises with a high wall, so we had privacy and quiet. Due to the heat, it seems balcony was rarely used (we did not use it for much more than drying out beach towels), maybe the ones on the upper floor had more breeze). Room was clean, large and well lit. It had a small desk enough for one person, and a table for four in the corner. large armchair was a nice touch. Wardrobe was large, enclosing the small mini-bar type of a fridge, and there was also additional cabinet for luggage and shoes. Double bed was very comfortable, an not on direct line of the AC blow. Bathroom was also of good size with a large shower cabin. it also had a hairdryer (for some reason, hairdryers seem to be a big deal on Malta :) ) Every day there was a different treat waiting for us in the room. Usually some traditional cookie, or some local snack, with a small card describing it and giving some interesting trivia about it. The reception area was rather small, and staff was usually present in the morning, but out of that time it was available via WhatsApp. On an instance we needed them that way, they were quite responsive and replied quickly. Reception also has a bookcase with information leaflets about excursions and activities offered in the vicinity. Location is quite good, with a convenience store across the street, and harbour and center of the Marsaxlokk one block away (a minute of walk). Most of the bars and restaurants are within ten minutes of walking from the guest house. Bus stops for lines to and from Valleta and other towns are within 5 minutes of walking. Beach is a bit further away though, and St Peter pool is some 30 minutes of walking away. A good place to go to!

Convinient and quiet location. The hotel is 10 min car ride from the airport, 3 min walk from the seaside promenade. A car ride to Valetta takes approximately 20-25 min depending on traffic. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very accomodating. What striked us the most was the cleanliness of the place, the room was thoroughly cleaned and restocked every single day. We cannot recommend this place enough and we're looking forward to visit again. Thank you so much for everything!

Nothing to complain about.

This lovely hotel is situated in a superb location. It is close to bus routes to/from all areas including Valletta. There are also great eating facilities close by, even a Costa if you like that sort of thing! The hotel room was exactly as described and there was a bottle of wine and water waiting as a gift. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and rooms were attended to daily. The reception and staff were very kind, helpful and full of local knowledge e.g. Every Sunday there is a local fish market which also sells fruit (strawberries are gorgeous) and tourist gifts. All in all a very good place to stay but it was the staff that made it, for me, a great place to stay. A big thank you to all of them and everything they did was much appreciated x

Excellent host and staff, size of room, bathroom, comfortable mattress and we loved the location! They left a 2ltr drinking water bottle in the room which was very much appreciated!

I would love to have a small carpet/ rug in the room. I would love if the courtains were able to create a complete black out. I am sure there was a reason behind it, but I would prefer if we were able to adjust the light in the balcony during night time instead of having it automatically super on.

Lovely small hotel just a short walk from the harbour area with lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and was buffet style. Really nice spacious room with a welcome bottle of wine which was a nice surprise. Very friendly and helpful staff and we could leave our bags in the reception on our departure day before we had to leave for the airport. The Hotel was great value and we would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we could hear the church bells chiming all through the night which obviously wasn't the fault of the hotel but was a bit annoying, so next time we visit we will take ear plugs!

Rooms were very spacious and very clean. Location was amazing. Close to the shop, restaurants and bus stops. The staff were very nice. We could leave suitcases in the lobby the last day with options to use facilities like toilets.

Very minor thing, but the AC was very strong which did the purpose of cooling down the room but hard to have it on during the night while being in the room.

The guesthouse is just a short walk from the seashore. The place was clean, even the bed was made every day the same way as if it were our first day. The welcome wine was a very nice surprise. We had a delicious breakfast, on our last day we had to leave early and could make for ourselves sandwiches the day before. Our room was on the same floor as the buffet room where the breakfast was served. We could enjoy the awesome view on the harbour with the coloured boats in the sunshine.

The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Lots of towels were provided and the balcony was perfect for drying out wet swim gear. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the view was amazing.

Our shower had a small leak, nothing big. The other issue was there is very little soundproofing so we could hear everything happening in the stairwell. It also seemed like we never saw any staff at reception but they were easily contactable on WhatsApp.

The guest house is located 1 min by foot from the sea and the promenade, so it's very close to all of the most important points, such as the village center with famous, colorful boats, great architecture, restaurants, shops and bus stops. The room we were staying in was fully equipped and offered a terrace. The staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast was simple, but tasty and it was served on the last floor with great view to the port.

There was no parking available, but that's not a big issue as you may easily visit the whole island by bus :) I wish there were more products to choose from for breakfast, but it's understandable taking into consideration that the place is rather low-key.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that pervades the entire place. The interior of the guest house boasts tastefully chosen furniture, which not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also provides immense comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast area, which offered a stunning view. It was a serene way to start each day. The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction, which greatly enhanced my stay.

However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The sound insulation in the rooms was inadequate, which affected the sense of privacy and relaxation. Additionally, the internet connection was subpar, which could be a significant inconvenience for guests who need reliable online access for work or personal use.
