Breakfast was included food was good . Very Nice view of Harbor Especially top floors and Northern End of the Building , staff did replace towels and remove trash from outside the room after leaving outside the room.

No house keeping , opening of room doors were hard to open and most guest slam doors which would wake even a deep sleeper. I booked through booking.com when I arrived at the Lodge they asked me to sign an agreement of room cost which was about $100 dollars less than what booking.com charged me. I will more than likely not use booking.com again because they said it was the best price ! NOT TRUE!

Everything about our stay was great. The staff were wonderful and friendly, everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. They made you feel welcomed and valued. Our room and the entire Lodge was clean and very welcoming. I think my favorite moment was stepping into our room for the first time and seeing the breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean right from the door! Overall, everything about Atlantic Eyrie Lodge was great, from the daily warm and fresh breakfast to the clean and well-maintained pool. The pool certainly was a great place to start and/or finish our day. We even got to watch a few deer right below us. The shuttle service was also great, it made getting around Bar Harbor quick and easy. I would not hesitate to come back for another stay at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge and have already told some family and friends.

Perfect location and nice view. I think it’s designed as such that each room has a view. Our room overlooks the pool and further looks out at the Frenchman Bay. Property is quiet and very clean. Decent breakfast. A big surprise is that the free shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel which takes you to the Village Green. You can connect to other shuttle routes from there. It’s super convenient to build into your vacation plan and a big plus. The lobby provides complimentary coffee, filtered water fountain and delicious chocolate cookies. All these add on to the +++😄 Another tip: Check with the front desk staff for the low tide hours of Bar Island. Take the shuttle downtown. Wade some water to cross to the island and hike a short trail to get the hilltop view. It’s super fun and memorable experience.

I wish I could have booked a room on a higher floor to catch the sunrise from our balcony. We are on level 1 and the sunrise is blocked by trees.

Spectacular harbor views from every room with a nice balcony. It is in a quiet area away from the bustle of Bar Harbor, but still close by. The room was quite large with plenty of space and very clean. Ample parking was available for free. Easy access to Acadia and local sites. A nice breakfast is included which is a plus. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. During the tourist season, check the cruise schedule for BH to try to avoid larger crowds in town and at Acadia.

Great location with wonderful view of the Fisherman Bay. The hotel had nice balcony we were able to sit on. The kids enjoyed the outside pool even though it was not super-hot outside, the water was decent temperature. Breakfast was decent: eggs, bacon, hash browns (bit on dry side), but great fresh and still warm selection of muffins. The front staff was helpful and providing information on shuttle and local area.

Maybe newer carpets, they were clean just bit outdated not a deal breaker by any means. Maybe game room for kids with board games or ping pong table/air hockey would be nice for cloudy rainy days.

The air conditioner was a bit old and noisy (not a huge issue), and the walk to downtown Bar Harbor was longer than expected — doable, but not super close.

We liked everything about this pretty hotel. The location is perfect and the setting is serene. The staff were so helpful, accomodating and friendly(tips on where to eat, excursions to take, etc.). The freshly baked cookies every late afternoon were scrumptious (peanut butter, ginger, etc.) as well as the delicious breakfast every morning(freshly baked muffins - blueberry & orange-cranberry, pistachio), hot scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, French toast fingers, yogurt, cereal, fruit cups, delicious coffee, variety of juices, etc.. It really was a wonderful breakfast, and the manager & staff were on top of everything- they should be recognized for their conscientious, hardworking efforts. The saltwater pool felt so refreshing on the days we were there as Maine set records for some of the hottest weather they've ever had...90s & high humidity!! The Island Shuttle(L.L.Bean partner) was such a help during the heatwave. We walked extensively, however, it was a treat to get in the FREE shuttle to return to the hotel from town after being hot and tired. We will definitely return here!

Staff was great. Location was perfect with a great view of the harbor. Breakfast quality and quantity was as good as any restaurant. Delicious muffins for breakfast and wonderful homemade cookies available in the afternoon. Free public transportation that picked up at the Hotel about every 20 minutes and went to the downtown area of Bar Harbor. Over all a really great place to vacation.

The fact that I couldn't stay longer. I have traveled a lot and stayed at numerous hotels and I truly can't think of anything I didn't like about this place.

We had a room with an ocean view, which was very nice. It had a pullout couch so that the kids didn't have to share a bed. We didn't have enough time to try it, but the pool looked great. The pool closed at 8, which meant no late-night noise and a nice quiet evening. The free Island Explorer shuttle stops right at the hotel front door and takes you to the town square. From there, you can catch another route to Acadia National Park. It was very convenient and the shuttle staff are super friendly and helpful. Another thing that was great about this hotel was that it was quiet.

The beds could be better, but they were okay. What we really would have liked was more than one washer and dryer. We weren't able to do laundry as we had planned.

I love the view! I love that they changed toiletries to refillable devices. The staff is friendly. It's close to the park and town. The room was large and comfortable, with a dining table and extra reading chairs.

I wish they had options for vegans at breakfast other than store bagels and English muffins, and the fruit cups. The apples were good. Would like to have a non-dairy creamer or milk for coffee and cereal. Packaged oatmeal would be awesome. I know it seems hard, but just those 2 things would be great!!
