Absolutely loved the location!!! Parking was a breeze and never had trouble finding a spot (but we were also there during the week so that may have been why! Not sure about the weekends and how busy it may be.) As a mom of 3 kids, I loved being able to just pack a small bag and walk outside to the beach. It was so convenient. The building was lovely!! Also as a mom, I loved having a washer/ dryer on the property. One of my boys and I would go down for breakfast every morning for our yogurt and coffee ❤️. Our room was so nice and even though parts could be updated such as some tiles in the bathroom and just little things here and there, we still enjoyed it! The beds were so comfortable. The view from our room was spectacular and was a blessing to me personally to be able to get up in the mornings to see that from our balcony ❤️. My kids enjoyed the pool as well and loved the area outside. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were always out doing something and taking care of things.

Honestly, my only comment would be about just updating the little things here and there. I understand it’s an older building and has probably been hit by storms in the past but it’s just little things really such as the tiling in the bathroom and maybe the lamp shades on the lights in the room. Other than that, that’s it!! We enjoyed it so much!!

Right on the beach Plenty of parking Free Wi-Fi Staff was helpful Not noisy Having a small kitchenette was amazing, didn't have to eat out every meal.

Milk was spoiled at the breakfast, we were there for 4 days. For 4 days the milk was spoiled. The door leading out to the pool never locked nor did the gate down to the beach, allowing anyone to enter the pool area or inside the hotel. Vending machines and video games did not work. Tiki bar not in use. A total missed opportunity for the guest and hotel alike. Shower mats need to be placed in bottom of tubs. Total hazard. I almost fell several times. The beds are horribly uncomfortable, bring a mattress pad with you. We will next time.

Emerald shores is always very clean. We continue to go back to the same location yearly because of the staff. Every single staff member is friendly and goes above and beyond to help when an issue arises. The location is wonderful if you want to be close to everything but not in the hustle of it all. We love that! This is not a fancy hotel. We’ve stayed in those and prefer to stay in a hotel that feels like we’re at home instead. This is that hotel! I miss it already! Emerald shores, we’ll see you next year!

Everything captured was true. Clean, very friendly even with issues we had and very quick to resolve room issue. Would stay there again.

Not enough breakfast available, ie not enough milk, not enough juice (only had orange and it had previously frozen which makes it taste awful) and not enough cereal (large bowl only held about 6 or 7 and with approx. 108 rooms, that's not enough). We were supposed to have a King room and the first room was a queen. Brought it to their attention where they quickly accommodated us and said they were giving us a room with 2 kings and when we got to room it was 2 queens. I think the front desk didn't know what a king was or they are falsely advertising kings and they only have queens. Will be letting Booking to look into it.

Pull out Sleeper in the room was smaller than appeared online…. We made it work with our toddlers. Biggest complaint is the handicap ramp being blocked off from the resort but not the beach and having to walk all the way to the road then back through parking lot into the building back out to the deck , not pleasant with toddlers, tent and a wagon.

Staff was helpful if asked for something. Hotel provides pool floats and noodles for kids. There's laundry facilities on site. Never had to wait for the elevator. Clean.

There weren't always pool towels available. Thought there'd be a few more tables with umbrellas for shade. We assumed the tiki bar would be open with someone running it selling drinks, but no. The change machine stopped working and soda machine ran out of soda. Only chips in vending machine.

Marc, the manager, is just the best host ever, you can’t get any better than that. Even though I was only there for a night, just a regular visitor who booked the cheapest room with views to the city, he showed me the penthouse with ocean view and out of his own will, he offered me a free upgrade to the ocean side. Great location in a not too busy spot of the beach, pool and hot tub are nice. It’s better to skip breakfast, it’s just prepacked stuff and coffee but that’s what you get on a budget.

Pool area was good.

Breakfast was very minimal. Coffee pot in room but nothing with it. Bedside light did not work. Toilet was old and didn't flush the best. There was a man and a woman at the front desk. The man was helpful but the woman wasn't that helpful and seemed like she really didn't want to go out of her way to be helpful.

I love the location close to restaurants. I love ❤️ my oceanfront room, # 705 . The beds were king-size very comfortable. Three people can sleep in on bed. I love the kitchenette supplies all the utensils, pots,glasses, and plates. There was a nice size refrigerator. I will definitely recommend this hotel to stay at. There was continental breakfast, I like it because I'm really not a big breakfast person.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was a one car pass per room. I had another guess traveling the next day. But the front desk assured me that it's fine, for the other guess to park the car without a parking pass. I'm just glad my guess car wasn't towed.
