The location of the hotel was excellent in terms of getting to it from the motorway and for access into the city. Ample secure parking is available near to reception and the spa centre. The room we booked was excellent if a little tired and in need of some TLC. On arrival the staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The restaraunt is fine if a little plain but right next to the bar. The breakfast was ample and well presented. We both enjoyed use of the gym and swimming pool; both kept at a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.

We arrived on a very busy evening with a wedding party in full swing. The staff were struggling to support guests and wedding party which resulted in a long delay to get an evening meal and drink at the bar. The car park was full of litter and generally unkept. We reported some defects in the room but these were not addressed during our stay.

Stayed a few nights. Comfortable beds and quite a lot of space. Lovely gym, pool and spa facilities. I only used the gym but it's handy to have when you're travelling over a longer time and want to get a workout in. Had a decent meal at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff at reception and the gym were very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was easy.

It's a bit far from liverpool city centre - but I guess that keeps the price down. Also didn't like how easy it was to hear others in adjacent rooms. Heard some very private moments that made it awkward when passing others in the hall.

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Really felt they where invested in making sure we enjoyed our time in the hotel. Breakfast was brilliant, very tasty. 😋 Getting private hire cab absolutely no problem. Bar staff brilliant when we were a little late ordering dinner and no tables available in the the restaurant. Gave us the full menu and let us order from the the bar, thank you. Overall a fabulous stay for a family party.

The rooms were light and airy, lovely having a separate sitting / dining area as well as the seperate bedroom. Had Dinner and breakfast, food generally Ok for hotel food. Sirloin steak cooked perfectly as asked for.Staff friendly and attentive.

The electric sockets by the bed were too close to the top of the bedside table making it difficult to plug a modern phone charger plug into, but enough other sockets in the suite to plug it in to.

The room was very spacious which we weren't expecting. Having a separate living room and bathroom was lovely. The food in the evening was lovley.

Breakfast wasn't as much choice as you normally find in hotels (for example only fried egg no scrambled) and the hot food was always low, we had to ask both mornings for sausage and mushrooms to be filled up. The breakfast was lovely though, just not as much choice as you would expect for £15 each.

Good location on edge of motorway. Only 20 minutes drive to Liverpool city centre. Large car park. Room was massive with seating area with tv, and separate bedroom with tv and very large bed. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast included in my stay and was brilliant, all good quality hot items, and a selection of cereals and continental options.

Hotel is a little dated. Could do with a refurb but did not affect stay.

Room was great. We were upgraded to an executive room which was fantastic. Bed really comfy. Had late lunch at the Bistro, the waitress was very attentive and the food was nice.

Breakfast was poor, understaffed, had to stand around waiting for hot food to come out a plate at a time with breaks between. Hot drinks machine also kept on breaking and although 2 waitresses were working, 1 definitely was more rushed trying to sort everything.

Absolutely everything !! The staff were marvellous. Helpful,polite,a joy to interact with. There was a lift,and the corridor was very clean. The suite was marvellous. Spacious,comfortable, spotless. I didn't want to go out! I ate in the restaurant and had a very tasty meal . The staff were lovely and I felt comfortable as a solo traveller. I would certainly stay there again. It's position in relation to several major cities and attractions makes it perfect for a stay .

The hairdryers had been replaced since our last visit so Thankyou. However the shower and shampoo containers in the changing rooms were too difficult to get anything out of them! They are a very poor design and some of them were empty. I did mention this problem after my previous visit .

We were pleasantly surprised. Location was perfect for us on the outskirts of Liverpool ready for the next day. Beds were super comfy. Everything clean and staff friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and again, lovely service and food great too. Other Best Western hotels should take lessons from this hotel! Doesn’t look much from the outside and could prob do with an external spruce up but don’t let this put you off.
