it is nice it has a pool and music by the bar, it is a good value for the money. It is a perfect place for anyone who wants to party with other people with loud music and a lot of alcohol. The staff are very nice and helpful

The property is a little far from the centre, and the prices of food and drinks you can order at the hostel bar are quite too high in my opinion. In addition, when I arrive and wanted to pay for my stay they asked for a higher price than what I ordered saying that they charge another 12% fee as a tourist fee or something. This information is not available anywhere I saw, hopefully it’ll help someone to know ahead.

The property itself is nice, I was staying in a 4 person room and it was very comfortable. It was nice to have the bathroom in our room. The activities they do are cool but they would be nothing without the amazing staff. Moraigne made the whole experience so much more fun! They really make an effort to make you feel welcome. The free “shots” every hour are nice too :)

The location is way too far from anything which forces you to eat the food at the hostel when in a pinch. The food at the hostel is overpriced and not worth the money. When I asked about tours and activities the front desk staff didn’t give much information. The most annoying thing is that they charge for towels! Not extra towels just if you want a towel at all it’ll cost you 300 deposit and you’ll get 250 back

I stayed in a 4 beds female room, the bed is big and comfortable, the room is clean. The stuff are super nice and they organize events every night. You will never get bored there.

The music is too loud, especially for my room 106, it’s just in front of the bar area. They start to play the music from 7 pm to 12 pm, some days it’s karaoke night, they did sing well, but listening to someone singing for 4 hours was not a good experience. I really hope they can change the bar time till 11pm. Because many people get up early to do island hopping or other activities.

Great staff. Lots of activities organised. good to meet other travellers. really good aircon in the room. was really close to a great restaurant called Mist - would recommend eating there. And there was a great sandwich shop 5 minutes away.

Food wasn’t great and moped prices were very high. we rented from a local shop instead for 200 pesos per day cheaper. obviously it’s a party hostel so be aware music will be loud until midnight (this wasn’t a problem for us but they do provide free earplugs)

Great spot for a few nights stay in Panglao over New Years! Met an awesome group of people here, and the Staff are friendly and always organising things to get people together. Had a fun sunset cruise for NYEve for a good price, and the pool area was great to relax in through the afternoon. For 100 pesos, you can get a tuk tuk to Alona Beach, or walk about 30-mins. The food here was some of the best fresh food I had in the Philippines, and they did proper barista coffees! It is a party hostel, so they do have free shots at the bar from 8pm every hour, and the music does go til 1amish, so be aware. The bathrooms were clean, with a shower head attached to the wall in the bathroom, so be prepared for water to go everywhere. Great stay for solo travellers who don't mind a bit of party atmosphere.

Im travel solo, witch is so easy by Mad Monkey. Everyday there are activities witch you can join. The crew organised this on a fun way. They connect the travellers from so many different countries with eachother by chatting and playing games. This makes its really nice and easy to hangout there. They are really helpfull and take care of you. During my stay there it was specialy Pedro and Keran. They were so kind and helpfull and make my stay there are lot of fun!

Very fun hostel. The bed was clean and tidy and has a curtain, cupboard, shelf, power etc. The dorm had a bathroom and shower and there are more as well. The 8 person room was great. They did laundry, bike rental, tours. There were lots of ways to get involved like every evening there is a session to get to know people, like karaoke etc. The staff were so lovely. Pool was really nice. Lots of evenings people go to the bar after. I like that they take card payments and that the menu had plenty of tasty options.

The location is not very convenient for the beach which is near the little town, you need a tuktuk or a scooter, but it's only 150p and like 10 minutes so easy. It is a party hostel. Music is until 12 midnight every day , and you will hear it from the room. That was perfect for me, but be aware if that's not what you want.

I love the ambience and the vibe of the place, the friendly and accommodating staff (except 1). The rooms are clean and worth the money I paid.

All the staff were friendly and accommodating except one at the reception. I am greatly disappointed with her condescending behavior towards us. I do not know what was her problem with us having booked the place but as a paying guest, we do not deserved such attitude. I give credit to her linguistic prowess though, but attitude matters the most.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. I’ve stayed in a lot of mad monkeys across Asia but Panglao is definitely the best one! Special mention to the two reps, Takko and Yvonne for keeping as very entertained and to Kerion and Emily and the rest of the bar staff. Absolutely fantastic! The kitchen staff are also great with some beautiful meals. Reception are always willing to help get transport to the airport and ferries. I stayed in a private room and the housekeeping team serviced the room everyday too. I am looking forward to returning on another holiday.

Loved the staff - everyone was super friendly and welcoming and definitely contribute to creating a great vibe. The restaurant offers very good food and drinks. Every night there’s a dj playing good party music and a fun dance floor vibe. It does stop at midnight which is fair to guests who might have an early morning wake up the next day.

It is a bit far from alona beach. We booked a private room and the bathroom was very smelly and found a few bugs including cockroaches. Of course we didn’t expect much luxuries from a backpackers hostel but we hope it can still be improved for future guests
