We loved the location of the property as it was close to the beach and the town which made it easy for us to see the sunset at night. The room itself was very clean and it had all the toiletries we needed - the room was very quiet throughout the day and night especially for the location. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning as it gave a wide range of options as well as different specials everyday. The optional extras box was a good choice by the property owners as it enabled privacy as they don’t come into the room whilst guests are staying there.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. There was no problem catering for my food intolerances. I felt truly pampered and in safe hands. The food was exceptional, good quality and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for Glen and Sarah, they were super organised and had thought of everything you could possibly need. I definitely recommend staying at Ocean Drive and would stop again.

The only thing I would change is the curtains linings, although they were thick lined curtains, blackout linings would help to block out the bright street lights which illuminated the beautiful bay window. I kept waking up during the night thinking it was morning and was up for the day between 4.30 and 5 am🤣 however this may not affect everyone as it's pitch black where I live so I'm not used to street lights.

The hosts were polite, welcoming and exceptionally accommodating. They were able to meet my dietary requirements which made my stay all the more comfortable.

Our bedroom window was a little smaller than I would have liked, however it was the last room available at the time of booking. Next time, I will book earlier so that I can chose a room with a large bay window. Regardless, the views of the sand dunes and the sea were beautiful :)

Excellent location, the owners were very nice, although I never really got to meet the lady of the house. I like to keep to myself and I think the owner worked that out and was respectful of that.

The TV, for me it needs replacing, I pressed the TV guide, it wanted a pin, anything other than channel/volume up or down it wanted a pin. Lots of channels were missing which I am sure I have had at other places I have stayed at in Barmouth. I would have liked the tele to have usb connection, which it did not, again showing the age of the tele. As a solo traveler the TV is quite important for the night time, so I would look into that.

Our stay here has been amazing. Glenn and Sarah are both lovely hosts. Sarah cooks a tasty breakfast and Glenn does a cracking job of front of house. The running of the accommodation is unique (extra points for the box organisation each morning- breakfast menu/replenishment of amenities/fresh towels etc) Nothing is too much and they have brilliant knowledge of the area and surrounding towns. Very helpful and chatty. We will definitely be booking to stay again.

Top floor stay- we’ve learned we need to get fit with all those stairs. You do get used to them! :)

we were met on arrival by the owner who said our room was being changed to a sea view ,which we were over the moon with. the room was absolutely beautiful and spotless .the bed was so comfortable and spacious. the breakfast was one of the best that i have had anywhere.

there was nothing that we dint like, I cant imagine enyone not liking this place. so peaceful and quiet , you could just sit in your room and look out of your large bay window and watch the world go by.

The rooms were clean and fully re-stocked with what we required during our stay. Glenn and Sarah are excellent hosts, and had great knowledge of the area and recomended some lovely walks and places to eat. The home cooked breakfast at the b&b was 10/10 , and there was parking right outside for guests. You can’t go wrong staying at this place and we will definitely be returning!

We don't normally leave a review but on this occasion we feel the need. Ocean Drive is absolutely brilliant. We have recently spent 4 nights there. We were met with a warm welcome upon our arrival which continued throughout our stay. Our room was spotless so too was the dining room. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. Thank you to Glenn and Sarah the owners of Ocean Drive. We will definitely be returning as Ocean Drive is outstanding.

Glenn and Sarah are excellent hosts and they looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very well equipped and the bed was really comfortable. Hoping to stay here again during the August bank holiday weekend. I would recommend Ocean Drive to anyone. It's worth it just for the homemade Welsh cakes! 😋 🤣
