THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS TO THE LLYN ESTUARY. WE WERE RUNNING A LITLE LATE ON OUR JOURNEY AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING IN MOVING UR DINNER RESERVATION. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE HOTEL MANGER WAS REALLY HELPFUL WITH OUR BAGS AND IRECTED US TO TTHEIR PARKING AREA WHICH WAS A GREAT BONUS IN A SMALL STREET. WE HAD DINNER THERE ON OUR ONE NIGHT STAY AND THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. BREAKFAST ALSO WAS REALLY GOOD AND QUICKLY SERVED. OUR ROOMS WERE SUPER COMFORTABLE. WE WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER RETURNING IF WE ARE IN THE AREA AGAIN
CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE

Absolutely fab hotel..with a beach on its doorstep and view of the castle on the hill. Staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant was amazing. It has a very well stocked bar with numerous varieties of spirits and wines and also a large selection of welsh ones!. We only stayed for one night but wish we had been able to stay longer. There is limited parking at the hotel but there are some spaces just an easy short walk away . Hopefully be back again soon!

The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. There were enough staff on duty all the time making for good service. The location is great. The Criccieth bay is small and the hotel ideally positioned with an outdoor area and lounge that overlook the bay.
The rooms could have had a bit more decoration in them to lift the ambience as they are quite functional.

All aspects of the hotel and location were excellent, the food in the evening wasvery good , as was breakfast, nice ambience in the lounge, rooms very clean, customer service excellent and is 20 yards from the beach.
Couldn’t really fault anything. There is restricted hotel parking about fifty yards from the hotel for 3 pounds per night but free parking in front of the hotel reached via a number of steps, so if you have a disability that may be an issue

Location is superb overlooking the beach and sea. Very convenient centre for touring north-west Wales. Car park is small and most guests park on the narrow road leading to the hotel and have to pull very close to a wall or hedge, but it's not a problem. Food was excellent, wonderful choice of breakfasts, although dinner is a bit expensive. A nice bar and comfortable lounge to relax, and garden with tables outside. Staff are very friendly - my wife is living with dementia but they were extremely understanding and helpful. Most staff speak Welsh, so if you also speak it, it's great to be able to chat in your own language. I would certainly recommend Caerwylan and look forward to returning before long. Diolch yn fawr!
Dinner is possibly a bit expensive, although excellent. Otherwise, pleased with everything!

Lovely friendly staff and hotel was in a great location. We were only there two nights so a very brief stay, but the location was excellent breakfast was good and provided for all our needs. Shower in bathroom was good.
Our room was ok in size, but it's an old building and decor a bit dated in the rooms, but otherwise all perfectly charming.

The location of the hotel overlooking the bay and castle, great decor in the restaurant and lounge and my bedroom. Welcoming, friendly staff. The mattress was quite comfortable.Very quiet at night and great breakfast selection. Enjoyed our evening meal at the Tonnau restaurant on our first night at the hotel. The lift was ideal as we were on the 3rd floor.
The quilt on the bed was too heavy for me. Also we were charged for parking which I didn't expect.

Location was right on the beach road. With excellent views of Criccieth Castle Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. The full Welsh was one of the best I`ve had. Dinner was first class as was the service. Room was excellent as was all of the Hotel. All the staff were excellent friendly and professional, nothing was a problem and always smiling and willing to help.
Nothing.

Helpful staff, very well appointed, clean, comfortable, great breakfast, great location, good value for money
No car park as such but free parking on the sea front just below - not a problem in the slightest but worth mentioning if you're hoping to put your hypercar in their private garaging as that's not an option

Very pleasant staff, good facilities. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was also excellent and staff were always friendly and attentive.
We were in room 17 and although it was clean and tidy we were offered on Booking.com garden or castle view of which we had neither and just a view of a flat roof. Also decor and facilities were a little tired.
