I was really delighted with my recent two-night stay at Glanllifon B&B in Criccieth. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was also delighted with my bedroom and bathroom, which were very clean and comfortable and the view of the sea, promenade and wide grassy area from my bedroom was superb. As for breakfast on both mornings they were absolutely delicious, well-cooked and with generous portions. I would love to stay again at the Glanllifon, which is in one of Wales' most picturesque seaside resorts. A big 'thank you' to everyone!

No complaints, except I was disappointed not to see any seals or dolphins!

Everything about our stay at the Glanllifon was excellent. The room was lovely and clean and had an amazing sea view. The breakfast was plentyful with a good choice, cereals, yoghurt, full english or toast.They went out of their way to make sure my partner who has a gluten allergy was happy. I am sure we will return to this B&B if we return to Criccieth. Parking wasn't a problem, you could park in front of the B&B or across the road on the carpark which the B&B gives you a pass for so you don't have to pay to park.

There was nothing to dislike

The room was comfortable and warm. I did not want for anything. The room was serviced during my 2-night stay. I didn't get to learn the names of the owners, but they were warm, personable, polite and welcoming. The breakfast was varied and tasty. No complaints here.

The bathroom fan didn't function and it was not possible to open the bathroom window, so ventilation was a challenge. The bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous occupant, but it was emptied during the servicing after the first night in residence. The lighting was too dim for reading.

Brilliant location. We chose the room on the top floor on the right and we had an unrestricted view of the sea. There was a comfortable sofa placed in front of the window so we could enjoy it. (The view) The room itself was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Shower/toilet was very clean and well stocked. There was ample room for clothes etc and a good sized TV. There were 31 stairs leading to the top floor but the hosts offered to carry our cases up. There are only 5 rooms in the property so you were well looked after. Breakfast was fabulous and included options for dietary needs. (Gluten Free). Cricceith is an excellent base to explore the region. We visited Portmerion, Beddgelert and the beach at Porthor. All easily accessible. We were able to park our car outside the property or at the car park directly opposite. (A free pass is available from the hosts on request.)

Nothing really. There was some scaffolding erected on the building to the side of the B&B but this is only temporary and did not effect our enjoyment of our stay. (April 2024)

Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with vegetarian and vegan options (full cooked as well as cereal/yogurt) The location was amazing and room facilities were great, such as tea and coffee. Nice views of the sea from our room. Also despite not having parking, they provided parking permits for the carpark across the road so no concerns when heading out and about!

Nothing particularly- more updated TV in the room would have been nice (YouTube, Netflix etc) but we didn't spend lots of time there anyway.

The people running the B&B were friendly, chatty and approachable and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and very well presented and generous. The location is perfect with sea views and a short walk from Criccieth Castle with beautiful views across cardigan bay. I even saw a dolphin!

Not much to dislike at all to be honest.

Beautiful Victorian property in a fine spot overlooking the bay. The room was very clean and comfortable with a seating area which was a nice addition. There was a lovely sea view from the large window. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, all beautifully presented with a great choice. The hosts were really nice people who went above and beyond. It’s great value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Glanllifon is an exceptional B&B. It is located directly on the coast, just a few steps from the sea. The hosts are, typically Welsh, extremely friendly and welcoming. My room was utterly lovely, impeccably clean and the bed absolutely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, served with a smile and a nice little chat. Highly recommended! 11 out of 10 stars!

Beautiful room with lots of space ad fabulous sea views. Very clean. Great breakfast with wonderful views

Settee was a great addition in the bedroom but it was a little uncomfortable to sit for long which was a shame as you could sit for hours looking at the views. Bed a little firm but that is personal choice as with the pillows.
