Impressive hotel building with lots of character in extensive and lovely grounds. 15 minute walk from the town centre and beaches. Staff were very friendly, obliging & welcoming. The hotel was very clean, classy and very well looked after. Very good breakfast. Comfortable and high quality room. It was quiet and peaceful.

I did think I'd booked a room with breakfast - fault is with Booking.com not the hotel. No menu for evening meal visible on arrival or in the day, so we didn't eat in the hotel in the evening. Water pressure not great for the shower. Loo roll wasn't replaced and had to ask.

Mary and john were absolutely great host the place is breath taking..food fantastic cooked by a Romanian chief..the bar is loaded with all sorts of yummy cocktails and drinks (try the strawberry*mango vodka) My description of the place dosnt give it justice..you need to see it for yourself. Thankyou Mary and john for making time for us in your busy schedule We felt that we knew you a lot longer than the 2 nights we spent there

A grandeur house with lots of wooden carved furniture and comfortable settees

Coming down the stairs for dinner I was holding onto the handrail and suddenly I felt a sharp pain as a skelf of wood broke off and rammed itself up and under my nail, ouch !! While the bedroom itself was beautiful the bathroom was the exact opposite, my wife and I are both tall and quite well sized but the WC was small and shoved tightly in the corner next to the sink, and the sink itself had a glass shelf over the sink making it impossible to wash your face without head butting the shelf. The shower didn’t have much pressure either

Loved all of it. Wonderful location. We were travelling to Bangor from the South of England this trip, and this was our stop off point. We had a relaxing drink on the terrace before enjoying a delicious dinner in the intimate dining room. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and with a very comfortable bed. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in glorious gardens. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back soon, hopefully.

Absolutely nothing

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. They were very accommodating when we requested a late breakfast after our park run. The property is beautiful, situated in a lovely area.

We couldn’t really improve anything, as we loved our stay. It might have been nice to have blackout curtains in our room, but that’s not a bad thing, as it was a beautiful sunny morning.

The hotel management were exceptionally friendly and gave us a complementary upgrade They also providedus a gorgeous impromptue meal even though we were late to arrive. The hotel has a fantastic ambience, and the room was spacious.We had the best nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel. Will definitely consider a return visit when next in this area (2027)

Absolutely nothing

It was a delight to stay at the Bron Eifion hotel. We stayed here recently for our daughter’s engagement. Mary & John were great host and went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The hotel is set in beautiful garden with a view of the sea. The restaurant service was very attentive, a great menu choice with really delicious food.

What a beautiful old house and grounds. Our room (a twin) was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were fantastic and did everything they could to make our stay special.

Breakfast could be included in the price or at least an option for a smaller breakfast. £15 if you only want coffee and cereal is rather expensive.

Lovely hotel and very picturesque setting. Good service all round. Used the restaurant for evening meal as well and the food was great, similarly for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted out my messed up booking (my fault). Overall a nice stay.

I'm nitpicking here but maybe an extra veggie option on the evening menu would have been nice. My partner is vegetarian and had one choice of mains (was lovely mind).

The hotel looks good from the outside but even better once you step inside, with modern versions of period furnishings, dramatic fireplaces, staircase and galleries. Our room was at the back, comfortable with all we needed, but nothing special. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our meals in the spacious dining area.

The water pressure in the shower was very low, it would have been hard to wash your hair!
