Situated just outside the town, the views from the front of the hotel were fantastic, with seating available in the late afternoon sun and a nice cold drink after a days touring. The facilities in the room were very good with a generously sized bathroom and good sized towels.

During our stay there was no evening meal, but the hotel did provide two local hotels where an evening meal was available. Along with directions from the rear of the hotel through the local graveyard, although we did have to climb over a metal gate, on the way just near the church there was a a raised tump which gave a great 360 view of the welsh mountains, which was a small compensation for our trek.

Peaceful location and the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was great with a good shower. Bedroom was clean..room was hot but there was a fan available in the room

Only criticism is that in the booklet in the room, it stated that they served food in the bar area for dinner. This was not the case and there was no bar/restaurant in the evening.

A nice location and we had a room with a mountain view. The staff were excellent, we were there for a christening we could park our car there quite early in the morning. We came back early and our room was ready before check in time which was a bonus. We had a meal on the restaurant which was OK, the bar man (Rhydian I think) was very good. Not a lot of draught beer available but it is early in the season. The room was a good size as was the bathroom with an excellent shower. All in all a decent hotel. Would we stay again, yes.

The room carpet had not been hoovered, not a big deal for us however it should have been

Very large bedroom and bathroom comfy beds. The staff were brilliant with all our requests and sorted out booking a table and and taxi for our evening meal at the Grapes (highly recommended) our bikes were stored away securely and you get the feeling that any requests would be dealt with as best as humanly possible. Good breakfast which unfortunately I couldn't do justice to as I was suffering with a toothache. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Breakfast was plentiful, hot, and well presented. Loved the powerful shower facilities.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before following its refurbishment. It's now showing some minor maintenance needs such as overgrown front gardens and poorly maintained potted plants at the front of the hotel. The wheel chair lift at the front looks to be in need of some maintenance and sprucing up. There was a broken window handel in our room and some loose water damaged floor tiles in front of the hand basin in the bathroom.

We paid for breakfast which was lovely. The lounge was a nice relaxing area also my son was happy as the pool table which was free of charge which was a bonus. I liked this hotel as I wanted to stay in the middle of nowhere.

The banging of the doors throughout the night, which was very loud and kept scaring my son as he thought someone was trying to get in the room. Not much choice of drinks at the bar.

The entire hotel was very clean and tidy, well appointed and furnished. The staff were friendly and efficient. Parking was free and close to the hotel. There was no traffic noise and the entire experience was quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

The wash-hand basin in the en-suite bathroom was tiny. There was nowhere other than the floor for our toiletries. The dining room lacked atmosphere, no music and any sound was amplified by the lack of soft furnishings ie: carpets and curtains.

Good beds and brilliant shower. Lovely quiet and clean rooms. Breakfast was fine, although the bacon was quite salty. Toast and jams were good. Lots of well spaced parking too.

Our sat nav tried to take us into an old run down property further down the hill. Maybe signage further down the hill to prevent this happening to others. Poor bloke had giant cones out in his driveway as he is being driven mad by this issue.

The location was beautiful. Had a lovely 2 day stay. Very quiet, on the second day, there was a young lad working at the reception, he was little nervous serving us at the bar, as he did mention he don't usually work on the bar, bless him. Service was a little slow, but chats were very friendly,the young lad was very polite and very kind. Thank you from South Wales the flat end 😊

The rooms were spotless. the only thing I struggled with was the bed being uncomfortable. Woke up with aching back. Bed was quite solid in room 3. Other than that everything was as expected.

Very friendly staff, good size room, good size shower, very clean, good breakfast great produce very hot, great views, good location. Good seating area outside. Little extras were a lovely touch.

As a couple staying it would be nice to have 2 x comfy chairs to relax on in the bedroom as there was plenty of room for the extra chair and there was no Cider/ larger on tap in the bar.
