They were friendly people and did amazing services to people, does good quality food, keeping place clean and tidy. Easy to get places even we didn't have a car. Bar - keeping people control by not having too much noise or being drunk and it's been amazing. People in bar were friendly too. Chef has done amazing with food! We loved the grab and go breakfast bag that they did for us when we needed to go places early.

There isn't anything that we didn't like. Everything was amazing and we had a great week there. Minor - the stairs were tricky to carry heavy suitcase up and down the twisted part of stairs. Someone might be good to help carrying cases up and down the stairs if it was older people. (I'm grateful for Liam carried my case up the stairs for me)

Liam greeted us and was very attentive. Offered to carry our bags up but Changed our room to ground floor as I was having trouble with stairs. Cooked us a delicious lasagna Love the plentiful snacks in the room sweet and savoury Nice bar area and outdoor seating in the shade of the castle Parking on site was easy Room was a bit hot when we arrived / we didn’t have to even ask Liam brought us a fan

One lounge chair in the room abit low to get out of Shower rose was really high (hand held not working) Not really anywhere to put bags (ie bag rack) for one night stay when Unpacking not needed Curtains were thin so it was light early but sleep mask was provided

This hotel is great if you love dogs, and great if you don’t. My wife and me fall into the latter. We had a dog free room. It was exceptionally clean and the hosts do a great job. The location cannot be beaten with a fantastic view of Harlech Castle. We did not hear the trains due to double glazed windows. Liam did the most amazing breakfast so 10 out of 10. Piping hot and cooked to our different requests.

This is an old building, but beautifully maintained and the floors as you would expect slope a little. The bed felt like it was sloping just a touch, no big deal but an easy fix, hence this comment and not a criticism.

Breakfasts were brilliant, well and freshly cooked. The owners are absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. Liam carried our bags up and down the steep stairs. Everything was so sparkling clean it all looked like new.

From the blurb I didn't realise that the hotel isn't in the main part of Harlech town, which is either a steep walk or a short drive away. It is on a busy main road which was quite noisy from about 5am onwards. For me, I would have liked the mattress and pillows to be softer but appreciate that is a very personal preference.

The room was wonderful and the location was very convenient. Not only was it easy to get to from the train station but our room had a beautiful view of the castle. We chose this hotel because the price was the best out of the options in Harlech and I expected a good hotel room but it went above our expectations! The room was clean and comfortable with water coffee/tea and even some little snacks. The owners were very nice and their dogs are so sweet and well behaved. (So well behaved in fact that we didn’t even know there were dogs on the property until we were checking out) Additionally the breakfast was excellent but I would opt for the small over the large as we had more than we could eat! :)

Nothing! The only trepidation I had with the property was the proximity to the train station. However we had a room facing the station and didn’t hear a single train our entire stay.

Liam and Rachel are the perfect hosts, incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much. The hotel has a great location with a view of Harlech Castle and right next to the train station. The rooms were clean, spacious and had lovely little touches such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the rooms along with little snacks and biscuits. There is a welcome book in the room which gives you all the information you need in and around Harlech. The food at the hotel is incredible, especially the breakfast. Generous portions, for a great price. Made our weekend very special!

Did not affect our stay but the stairs to the rooms are quite steep, so may impact someone who is less mobile.

The hosts and staff were friendly and informative. Evening food was available and of a good standard. Breakfast was available from 8.30 - 9.30 am. The room was clean and comfortable, with access to iplayer and Netflix. A comfortable bed with fresh, good quality white sheets. The location was great access for the beach and next to Harlech train station.

As the ensuite bathroom was small, the small flat sink over the toilet was a bit awkward to use but as our stay was very short it wasn't much of an inconvenience.

Everyone was welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, big, light and comfortable we had a chair to sit in!! Bathroom was a great size, and huge mugs for a refreshing tea, coffee or hot chocolate! They also had a jar full of sweets, biscuits and other goodies! Breakfast had a good choice of cereal , fruit, yougurts. Fry up both meat and veggie was delicious! We didn't have to leave until 11am which was a bonus! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay at The Queen's again!!

I couldn't fault anything!

The location was within walking distance of Harlech Castle, which was the reason for our visit. All the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The wait staff and kitchen staff were knowledgeable about Celiac disease, and were very careful with the food preparation to accommodate our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and I would certainly stay there again if visiting the area.

Really cannot think of anything negative to say or even areas to improve.

Brilliant location to explore this part of Wales, spectacular view of Harlech Castle from our room. Rachel and Liam have high standards, our room was very comfortable, immaculately clean and close attention to detail for all the extras (toiletries, drinks, snacks in the room, eye mask and earplugs if needed) Breakfast had a good range to suit all appetites, cooked breakfast especially good. Evening meal prepared and presented well.
