Brilliant, quiet location. The owner was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed - the breakfasts, cooked to order, were fantastic. Plenty of facilities was disabled people: ground floor rooms or stair lift to upper rooms. The hst was particularly welcoming to those with mobility issues or physical or mental impairment. She just knows how to treat people well. Easy parking and easy access to town. TV, fridge, microwave and all facilities in room.

We drove in from the beach road and over the railway line, which was fine, and we used that all the time. Some people might find the lane directly up to the town a bit narrow.

Peaceful location, friendly staff, lovely views and a tasty breakfast! A last minute change plans meant that we had to bring my 4 year old. This was no issue for Barmouth Beach Club. Unfortunately I booked the 2 person king suite so an extra bed was not possible but I just about fit on the couch at the bottom of the bed. We had the Welsh cooked breakfast that was cooked fresh to order each morning and filter coffee, cereal and porridge was available. I was made to feel that no request was too much to ask and felt very welcome. Location is about a 5 min drive from Barmouth centre and is walkable along the prom. Beach near the property is nice and sandy and very quiet which was ideal for my reactive dog. I would 100% stay here again, thanks to all the staff

I liked everything, no complaints.

Even before we arrived the owner kayleigh was so accommodating from the directions to waiting for us to arrive as we were late. The room was very big and spacious having everything in the one floor made it very easy for my disabled daughter to manoeuvre herself about. The fridge with water and fresh milk was very much appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from again accommodating all members of my family. It was comfortable, clean and the location was perfect for us. Well done kayleigh, we had a lovely stay. Will be back. Jennie and girls xx

This is a FULLY ACCESSIBLE property with all of the additional adaptions I need as a wheelchair-user. Everything is relatively new and Kayleigh takes extra care to make sure that the room fits!! On top of this a brilliant breakfast. Friendly staff that treat everyone like family. I took my 84 year old Dad and two dogs. It felt like home. We booked again before we left and I will be making this my first choice of Welsh holiday destinations from now on.

- Superb for those with accessibility issues. -Huge room with plenty of space to manoeuvre. -Bathroom ideal for wheelchair users. - Huge comfy bed. - Massive TV. - Fridge and microwave was a nice addition and plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplies and fresh milk! - Kayleigh was really helpful. - The mobility scooter for hire was excellent also! - Good location for those wanting a nice half hour stroll along the front into town. - Great breakfast selection

Only minor inconvenience was the gate access across the railway line, but wouldn’t put me off returning at all.

The host was lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The location was beautiful, not far from town too. Some gorgeous walks around the area so great for your dog(s) too. Dogs go free, which is good as there is normally a charge. The room was spacious and sea facing so we could hear the waves which was really relaxing. Was the best breakfast we have ever had. Now that's saying something! There was so much to choose from, but we went for the full Welsh breakfast. The power shower was so nice after a long walk. They had a microwave and a fridge in the room, too, which was very handy to keep drinks cold or heat food up. Nice touch. Will be back for sure. You must try this place. Believe me, it won't disappoint. Great stay. Thank you 😃

Chosen as a dog friendly place to stay and it met all my expectations handsomely. The Beach Club is tucked away at the north end of Barmouth and is accessed via a pair of self-operated gates across the rail line. This was not a problem and there is a large bright red/green light system to indicate if it is safe to cross. If you are walking to the beach for example, there is a pedestrian gate. The position means there is no passing traffic save to a handful of adjacent properties. The beach is 150 metres from the property and, subject to tides, extends for miles to the north where dogs can run free. The room was exquisite: very comfortably appointed with no unservicabilities and a powerful hot walk-in shower. My room did not have a bath, but I cannot say what other rooms may have. It ws on the first floor and had a dormer style window with VELUX light which converted the dormer to a balcony so one could sit in the room and look out over Cardigan Bay. A nice touch was the provision of a jar of dog biscuits; a dog blanket and a dog towel. I had brought all of those with us as not every "dog friendly" place provides such things. My itinerary meant I needed to leave before breakfast was served: not an issue, I was given vouchers for breakfast in a cafe in Barmouth which opened early. As I was meeting friends stayinng elsewhere I did not explore other ameneties at the Beach Club and cannot speak to them.

The space , the super efficient heaters , fridge for my insulin , , the people who when there were super friendly .

Bathroom fan broken so we had a very wet air, stale smelly place . The bathroom towel rail not working for us so no way to dry towels . Too dangerous to put it on room radiators , we are sensible , experienced guests . Did not get an e mail detailing the gates to open and where to go . By the time it came on text messages we were in!

The staff Alan and Kayleigh were very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect if you like it quiet, but not too far away to walk into town. The rooms were lovely clean and modern. Very dog friendly, really impressed with the little extras that were in the room, there was a large jar of dog treats, a dog blanket and towel and even a couple of dog bowls. Would highly recommend this lovely property 🙂

It is a super clean/dog friendly hotel. The breakfast which is included in price was plentiful and delicious ..

If you visit please do not make our mistake .. we followed the booking.com post code .. which leads access to the hotel via a precarious steep narrow lane! In fact you drive down the promenade and across a rail crossing .. the hotel had sent the revised post code but we missed it! Our fault! Dow!
