Location was great as was the welcome. Room clean as was kitchen and bathroom area. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Nice size fridge and enough crockery and cutlery for 2 people. Parking available for guests. All you do is pull up at the barrier, call the pub and they lift the barrier to let you in. Great system. Cannot fault the place - we will be back! Didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on food.

Air Conditioning was a great asset during our stay with 30degree heat however, it failed on the 2nd night and dripped water onto the carpet (and possibly into the room below us). Management were swift to bring up a bucket and towels but the constant drip while the unit was being used kept us awake which meant we had to turn it off for the night. Hopefully it was fixed before the next guests arrived.

We had a really warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the loft room which was really tastefully decorated and even though it was quite a small space everything was cleverly incorporated. There was an added bonus of air conditioning and electric blinds. We didn't really use the kitchenette as we only stayed one night but the fridge was very handy to chill our drinks! We had dinner in the restaurant which was really special. A little more expensive than we were expecting but everything was so excellently done which made it so worth it and all the staff were fantastic.

Unfortunately there wasn't a full length mirror which we feel could have been added somewhere. A wider selection of teas would have been nice. Also an iron or garment steamer would be a welcome addition.

Stayed 2 nights at the weekend. We were very warmly welcomed by Savannah and Sam. Sam carried our luggage to our second floor room and Savannah came also to show us the room facilities. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and light and airy. A well equipped kitchenette and a spotless shower room with a large backlit mirror and a window that we could open. The air conditioning system was very effective and would be a great asset in summer weather. Our fine dining dinner was a fabulous experience : each course delivered with a resume of what we were about to savour and rounded off by a complimentary liqueur and 2 of the chef’s specialties.

We've stayed here a couple of times before, fab location, lovely & clean. Staff are friendly. Well equipped kitchen, & huge bathroom, with a lovely big shower. The Would definitely stay again, just not room 1!

Room 1 was very dark, great being ground floor, but it came straight into the terrace, which meant you had to keep the drapes closed all day. There was also a rather noisy fan outside the window, which was on continuously all night. The room could do with being decorated in lighter colours & with proper blinds to let a little light in - just a suggestion!

It was spacious and comfortable with lots of useful facilities included. Space in the room was well used and it was so nice that a small kitchen and seated area was included. Beautifully decorated all round. The staff were incredible, from the checking in to the restaurant, it was clear they were incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to look after all customers. Food was delicious in the restaurant and we were very impressed by all the service.

The floors were a little dirty in the room upon arrival. We left shoes in the entrance hall, but found that socks and feet would get a little dirty from the room.

What a lovely place. From the moment you walk in you feel you have made the right choice. We have watched this hotel/bar being built and it doesn't disappoint. The room was so comfortable with everything you need. Bed was comfy. Bathroom amazing. Breakfast was good, get rid of the sourdough toast though. If you haven't got your own teeth your not eating that!!!! We stayed 2 nights and it was so comfortable. Easy check in and out. Right in the middle of Barmouth. Close secure car park included in the price as well. Loved it all......

Where do I start. Omg best few days we've had in a long time. Room was just amazing. Clean comfy everything you need. Even a small kitchen. Huge shower and I'm in a wheelchair enough room to put in the room. Not a wheelchair room btw. Every detail was thought off. From the cute thick curtains to washing up liquid and sponge. Water filter not that you need one in Wales. Honestly will be back. Thank you to the amazing w0orkers. 140 a night is not cheap but honestly worth it

If you going to have the breakfast I would pay when booking hotel as it's a lot cheaper we decided to have breakfast after booking and for 2 off us it cost £40 which I thought was expensive for 1 coffee each orange juice each and a small breakfast (1 toast ,1 mushroom, 1 bacon,1 sausage,1 tom, 1 hash and half black pudding no beans available)

Very clean and good facilities in the room with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect location and friendly professional staff. Cocktails and drinks were very nice from the bar and a good atmosphere, with a small outside seating area. Food menu looked good but the restaurant was full for the evening so would recommend booking in advance. Other good places to eat in the area but again, many require booking (Saturday night stay).

Hotel has a car park but can only be accessed from 3pm when checking in, so something to bare in mind if you plan on going earlier in the day that parking in the area is busy and is an extra charge. Air conditioning did leak throughout the night unless it was left on, member of staff who showed us up to the room was helpful in rectifying the issue.

Really beautiful room, felt like it was brand new. Very clean, with lovely little details in the decor. Comfortable bed, nicely furnished. The room was very quiet; the bar downstairs had loud music playing but I couldn't hear it at all from my second floor room, even though the windows overlooked the outdoor seating area. Heard nothing from other rooms and the carpets were so thick I felt confident I could move around without causing a nuisance to the people below me. Air-con/heating, TV, dining table and the kitchen had pretty much everything you could need (2 hobs, microwave, kettle, pans, fridge, cutlery, plates etc). This is handy since there isn't a huge range of places to eat after 5pm - in my opinion definitely worth booking a hotel room with kitchenette in Barmouth (Co-op is behind the train station a few minutes' walk away). Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The location is less than 10 minutes walk from the beachfront, with lots of little shops nearby.
