View and garden. Accommodation small but very nice and clean

You had to walk through their garden and they have a dog. Our dog does not like other dogs when they just run up to him barking. This should be on web site so people are aware of this.

This was a perfect getaway for myself my wife and our two dachshunds. I’ve read one comment saying access to property is through several gates this is untrue you go through one gate yes through the owners property then through a gate leading to your accommodation which is your gate. The property is small which is why it’s called the hut but plenty of room and the space is utilised perfectly. The accommodation is spotless the hosts were incredibly friendly and your outlook is stunning.

this is more of my problem... I would rather sleep in a bed without another bed above it, because I'm a bit claustrophobic, the pillows were uncomfortable and too high, and the bedding material was unpleasant. But the view from the windows and the coziness compensate for everything... :)

My partner, our 8 month old puppy and myself recently stayed for couple of nights and can not fault it. Brilliant location, a couple of miles walk along the beach into Barmouth, or a few mins drive if you don't fancy the walk! Clean, comfortable and spacious (for the 3 of us!) and amazing views of the sea. Was lovely to sit late afternoon into the evening with the doors open enjoying a few wines! Private, enclosed garden, so the puppy could come and go as he pleased. Would highly recommend.

Great location, private, 30mins walk to sea front/promenade. Well equipped.

The bathroom basin is a water saving one above the toilet cistern. Makes it hard brushing your teeth and using the mirror as no shelves so balance everything and lean over the toilet seat. Road noise was quite loud with the windows/doors open.

The bed was super comfy and the space heater was a godsend. The view was so lovely, unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the deck space because it rained the entire time we were there. The wi-fi was great, and we able to stream movies while we escaped from the cold rain.

The bathroom sink was difficult to use because it was tiny, so we mostly used the kitchen sink. There was no shampoo or soap, so be sure to bring your own.

If I was being picky we would have benifted from a freezer compartment, and full set of crockery would be good for families of four. Ropes on terrace could do with repair

Absolutely loved the location, the secure location- the hut is so cute! The hut is a little tired though and could do with some tlc, but this by no means stops it being an awesome little property

The location itself, a mile or thereabouts outside of Barmouth was good for us and although on a main road was quiet enough in the pre-Easter week for windows to be open without any compromise on sleep. There is not much space inside or outside of the unit but how much do you need for a few days? The outlook was predominantly open sea but pleasant and the bench and additional seats provide a comfortable and relaxing option for breakfast and/or an early morning cuppa. Obviously staycations are now somewhat more costly due to owners having to make up their lost revenue due to "the mong" but whilst it could be argued that the cost was high for self-catering we knew what we were getting when we booked. Interaction with the owners was nil, we simply came and went as we assumed they preferred but their (presumed) Son was pleasant when we saw him as we traversed their garden for access to the unit which was clean and tidy. Parking is "interesting" if you have a larger vehicle but owners did their best to accommodate us, altering their own positions during our stay - I assume to deliberately to make our lives easier.

We are blessed with two very relaxed pups which reacted minimally to the owners' dog erring to yappy. There was no real issue for us but I suspect that anyone with a more reactive dog or dogs could find their peace and that of the owners somewhat challenged.
