Very comfortable room (especially the bed). Super convenient for a morning flight from Stansted (a short walk to the terminal).

Just one disappointment: I glanced at the bar food menu and saw nothing vegan. I didn’t enquire further, just went and bought something from the airport terminal. Maybe the hotel would have been able to provide me with something suitable if I had asked, but surely in this day and age there should be at least one vegan option on the standard menu?

The hotel itself is lovely, always beautiful in reception. It is very convenient to the airport and our favourite when flying to or from Stansted. The available water/orange squash in reception is a nice added touch, although the orange was exceptionally weak. We like this hotel, but this time we did experience some problems. We haven't been travelling so much since Covid and before always booked through their app directly. We were disappointed this time, but the guy on reception helped us and deserved a medal.

Given a twin-bedded room instead of large double, long walk, as far as we could possibly walk with suitcase etc. Had to change room twice due to second room being dirty, both were at the end of the corridor. Blood/makeup on sheet, threadbare carpets, dirty overall. Whole room needed a complete overhaul.

Well, the main restaurant has been closed for some time now, the bar area had no places to seat. The service was unbelievably slow but the staff are nice, although you do need to chase them a lot, I mean a lot. Someone on the top is more greedy than ever, hence cutting down on whatever it can be cut down and it's definitely not what it used to be. It's a sad fact, talking to other guest of the hotel and going to the hotel for years.

So very close to the airport, perfect start to our holiday. Very well appointed rooms, very quiet considering how close we were to the runway! Felt very secure as well.

The location of the hotel a few steps by foot from the airport terminal is ideal for late arrivals or early departures. The hotel gives a modern impression, and was, to my mind, architecutally pleasing. Some parts, like the carpets in the corridors, were rather worn though. For a Radisson hotel in England, the price was OK, though not inexpensive in absolute terms.

Staff was friendly, or at least correct, but the reception worked extremely slowly, needing between 10 and 15 minutes per quest at check-in. Perhaps it was the fault of the computer system, but it was just unacceptably slow. I was looking for a waste bin in the common areas, but could find none. I would suggest placing some there.

The location was excellent, 2 min walk to the airport. I could relax before my early flight. The reception and express checkout was good. I liked the fact there was a health club available, I used the pool and sauna unfortunately it was too late to book the hot stone massage. The bar and restaurant area looked very good, but unfortunately had no time, wish they could do room service for dinner.

The room and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, there were stains on the carpet and walls and the bathroom and shower would do with deep clean and some bleach. On top of it I had a fly in my room so did not sleep all night.

The location couldn't be better. It's a short walk down a very direct walkway to the airport. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. We'd asked for a twin room and he rearranged rooms for us so that we could have what we wanted. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food in the bar was very good, if a little expensive, but I think it's what you expect to pay in a London airport hotel. The room was clean with pretty much everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

If I had to pick something, my son wanted a chocolate bar and would have loved a vending machine to get one from.

Visually a lovely Hotel with an excellent location a few minutes walk to Stansted. It’s always a balance to operate a big faceless hotel with charm and personality and maybe that should not be an expectation. It achieve what I imagine it sets out to. Accessible, good service for a transient market.

The standard rooms are very basic. In a chain hotel marketed as mid to high end with high end prices I would expect a better level of ‘standard’ accommodation. Carpets had an unpleasant smell that permeated the room particularly when the heating was on. The net curtains were stained and an irritating design with the black out/privacy blinds behind the curtain making needing manual pulling across meant you got tangled up in when trying to do this. The kettle was unclean and I had to wash and boil water for disposal before using it. Receptionist on arrival was perfunctory rather than welcoming. Overall I would reconsider using the hotel again. I often use the Hilton Stansted and have found it to have a more welcoming and professional attitude and cleaner rooms.

I stayed here for 1 night before getting a very early flight to Rome so was only in the room for about 6 hours. Obviously, the location is perfect for early access to the airport! It was very well signposted from the Stansted train station along a walkway and so easy to find even at night. The room was lovely, comfortable and very clean. The shower was great.

The check-in was a bit annoying. I arrived there at about 9.15pm after a long and tiring train ride from Manchester. When I arrived at the hotel, there was quite a queue for check-in and some frayed tempers from those already waiting. Even though there were three staff members serving, the queue moved very slowly. It took me about 15 minutes to check in. I think this was because the people checking in ahead were all asking the staff a lot of questions. When it got to my turn, I checked in very quickly. Perhaps, in future, there could be a separate desk just for enquiries so that check-in could move a little smoother?

It’s very close to the airport. I did have to ask where it was but once I was shown the right door to exit from it was a few minutes walk to get to the hotel. Amazing smells greet you once you enter and the staff are very welcoming when checking you in. The room was really comfortable as was the bed and I had a very nice shower using their shampoo/conditioner and body lotion which all smelt amazing.

I wanted to order food for room service but was unable to get through to either reception or the kitchen despite ringing loads of times. I could have gone down but I decided to call it a night after that. That’s the only negative if I had to pick one which wasn’t that big of a deal (again because I could have gone down I just didn’t). Everything else was great.
