Very comfortable room (especially the bed). Super convenient for a morning flight from Stansted (a short walk to the terminal).

Just one disappointment: I glanced at the bar food menu and saw nothing vegan. I didn’t enquire further, just went and bought something from the airport terminal. Maybe the hotel would have been able to provide me with something suitable if I had asked, but surely in this day and age there should be at least one vegan option on the standard menu?

The hotel itself is lovely, always beautiful in reception. It is very convenient to the airport and our favourite when flying to or from Stansted. The available water/orange squash in reception is a nice added touch, although the orange was exceptionally weak. We like this hotel, but this time we did experience some problems. We haven't been travelling so much since Covid and before always booked through their app directly. We were disappointed this time, but the guy on reception helped us and deserved a medal.

Given a twin-bedded room instead of large double, long walk, as far as we could possibly walk with suitcase etc. Had to change room twice due to second room being dirty, both were at the end of the corridor. Blood/makeup on sheet, threadbare carpets, dirty overall. Whole room needed a complete overhaul.

Well, the main restaurant has been closed for some time now, the bar area had no places to seat. The service was unbelievably slow but the staff are nice, although you do need to chase them a lot, I mean a lot. Someone on the top is more greedy than ever, hence cutting down on whatever it can be cut down and it's definitely not what it used to be. It's a sad fact, talking to other guest of the hotel and going to the hotel for years.

So very close to the airport, perfect start to our holiday. Very well appointed rooms, very quiet considering how close we were to the runway! Felt very secure as well.

Have stayed here before when I have an early flight the next day. Just so easy to park in the orange parking, walk to the hotel, stay the night, walk back via the car park to drop my overnight bag, grab my suitcase and walk into the airport. Hotel is pretty quiet, staff are good, room is clean and comfy. Didn't eat there and I was up at 4am so skipped breakfast but I've had it before and it's really good. It's perfect for business travel and I'll keep using it. For those that think it's expensive - for the location and convenience, it really isn't.

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival due to my terminal cancer diagnosis I had told them bur this was such a shock but an amazing suprise. The suite was amazing. And we felt like royalty. The reception staff and breakfast staff were fabulous and couldn't do more to help . The food variety at breakfast was great and lots of different types or milk / yogurt / to cater for allergies and gluten free too. My daughter loved the pancake machine and the scrambled eggs and had a huge bowl every day ! I have a very limited diet due to my cancer and I found their was plenty of options for me I had something different every day and enjoyed it all The leisure facilities were lovely . A lovely warm pool lots of sunloungers and plenty of time for my daughter to be able to be in the pool. She loved it . And enjoyed being able to watch in comfort from thr sidelines on a comfortable lounger when I didn't feel up to going in.

The only thing we were not impressed by was the service in the evening in the resteraunt. We were asked almost straight away what we wanted and we had barely even sat down let alone look at the menu and we were continuously asked by different staff members what we wanted to order it wsd extremely off putting and when we had decided the meter of staff didn't know what a j20 was or a jack Daniels and coke and we had to both point repeatedly at the menu showing it as an option. This is the only thing we were left didsapointed with Everything else was amazing.

Reception Stansted Radisson Blu Hotel I kindly request a written confirmation that my parking charges have been settled, or alternatively, clear instructions on how to ensure payment is completed. Dear Sir/Madam I arrived at your hotel last Monday evening and have extended my stay twice, each time informing the staff and entering my vehicle MJ71UME details into the electronic terminal at reception. A couple of hours ago, I collected my car from your parking facility (as I am flying out tomorrow morning) and moved it to the Mid Stay Car Park. Shortly afterwards, I asked at reception whether I should now settle any outstanding payment for the hotel car park, as I was unsure if the parking charges had already been covered. I was assured a moment ago by your male concierge that if my vehicle details had been entered into the system, then everything was in order and no further payment was required. While I appreciate the reassurance, I must express my concern that there appears to be no way of verifying whether my parking has in fact been paid for, other than relying on manual inputs without confirmation. To me, this falls short of the standards I would normally expect in the UK. I also requested to speak with the Manager, but this was declined by the concierge. Therefore, I am sending this email. For clarity: I was fully prepared to make the parking payment, but was assured by your concierge that, despite being unable to check the payment status, the only procedure is to trust that the entry of my vehicle details was sufficient and that the charge has been applied. I therefore understand that should any is

I was very impressed with the whole layout of the hotel. Very clean.The staff work very hard.You must have a very quick turn around with the rooms. The staff are very helpful in the restaurants and the bar.

I had booked a Superior twin room overlooking the runway but on checking in we were allocated a double room which we did not want.On further questions the reception went to speak to a Superior and got a Superior Twin room but not overlooking the runway The one allocated was overlooking the area where the passengers embark and disembark the plane with the loading of the baggage etc.The room was good but not the view which we had paid for.Very disappointed.

The location of the hotel a few steps by foot from the airport terminal is ideal for late arrivals or early departures. The hotel gives a modern impression, and was, to my mind, architecutally pleasing. Some parts, like the carpets in the corridors, were rather worn though. For a Radisson hotel in England, the price was OK, though not inexpensive in absolute terms.

Staff was friendly, or at least correct, but the reception worked extremely slowly, needing between 10 and 15 minutes per quest at check-in. Perhaps it was the fault of the computer system, but it was just unacceptably slow. I was looking for a waste bin in the common areas, but could find none. I would suggest placing some there.

Needed a place to stay as our local airport only does Stansted flights in the evening time and so we had to stay overnight to get a morning connection from Stansted. We were so glad we booked here. Nice open plan spacious hotel with a bar, lounge area to watch sports, good Guinness, and restaurant.open late. If you need an emergency pharmacy or shop or Burger King, walk 5 mins back to the airport entrance and you've WH Smith's, Boots, M&S etc right inside the door.

We requested a baby cot for our 6 month old but when we got to our room, it was a small spare bed that was put in there. However, we were tired, baby needed sleep so didn't bother chasing it up but put him in the middle of the main bed instead.
