Have used this place a few times when travelling from Stansted as we like the fact it’s simple friendly, clean and warm! Location is brilliant - 6min drive to the airport (taxi cost £13 as we left at 5am) The owner is very helpful! Gave us different options to get to the airport that that time and gave us the number of local taxi firm (uber works too) bed was comfortable and room was lovely and warm! I also leave my car parked there for £8/day which again is so much better for us! For the price it’s a great, cost affective way to stay to coming to or from the airport.

Shower did have a hair on the floor but the rest of the facilities were clean.

Excellent location with the bus stop opposite and a corner shop nearby. Room was clean and had everything we needed before our flight the next morning and really good instructions for the bus/taxis/takeaways. Extremely reasonable parking charges and with cctv we felt really safe leaving our car for a week. Very good shower and also really quiet despite being so close to the airport, I don't think we heard any planes!? Will absolutely stay before any future trips and have already recommended to some friends. The cost of the room, parking and even a taxi back because we didn't want to wait for a bus still cost less than a week of parking at stansted - very good value for money which is harder to come by these days.

Room was SO hot when we arrived that we had to turn the radiator off and open the door and windows - definitely save yourself the heating bill and keep it lower! Once we got the heat down the room was lovely. My husband and I are extremely tall and would be nice to have a king-size bed option in some of the rooms. I understand this is down to personal preference however.

Great location. Clean & comfortable. Parking at the site. Ground floor with private entrance. Very hospitable, helpful host. Excellent value for money! The host even had a bus schedule posted for the service to Stanstead Airport.

A few inexpensive additions would make it perfect..ie: 1. a light/lamp you could switch off without getting out of bed. 2. A hand towel. 3. A few more tea bags. 4. A rubbish bin in the bathroom. Minor details which did not really spoil our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly welcome host, great location, it was warm. Pillows were too hard for my preference, not sure if they were washed (found 2 hairs on them), but the bed looked generally clean and tidy. The latest bus from airport to accommodation was 00:30 and then next bus is after 3:00 am. I took the bus at 5:29 am. from opposite the place and back to the airport. Next airport bus in the morning is 6:30 am bus no 133

All was well, I'm happy to return and recommend as a short time stay. :)

It was a stay for 3 male colleagues. The accommodation provided 2 rooms with a double bed in each, which I knew, no problem. I asked for 2 separate duvets for the double bed that was to be shared by 2 male colleagues. The hotel staff provided us with them - greatly appreciated. Also, it was agreed we could check out the next day at the latest possible option: 13:00. We appreciated that too as we did not have to wait longer at the airport for our next flight. Also the opportunity to sit outside in the back yard was good.

It would be handy to have 2 bowls and 2 tablespoons per room for the breakfast that we bought in the local supermatket.

Excellent for a night to or from the airport. Comfortable, adequate space, good bathroom and comfy bed for an excellent price. Bus stop 10 yds, pub, kebab stand and chippy all less than 50 yds as is a small supermarket which seemed well stocked but was closed when we arrived at 7pm.

Not 5 star. How good you rate it depends on the deal you get. We found it excellent for our needs. Recommend the bus to the airport. It is walkable but a bit of a trek along a road with no streetlights.

Great value for money for a hotel where you expect to sleep over just one night between the flights. Comparing the prices of hotels around Stansted airport, this was by far the best deal with a third of price vs hotels located inside airport. 5 minutes by bus from Stansted ( be aware of bus timetable. There is no bus option if you need to go to airport before 5:45 a.m. , however an Uber will be about 10-12£ and plenty of them around). Nice host. Checking in very late after 00:30 was not a problem.

1 night stay, before flying, really can't complain, comfortable bed, some toiletries, clean, close to airport. Phoned host as tv not working, he arrived within 5 minutes and attempted to fix, very nice man. Worth the money, This is definitely not the hilton, but if thats what you want pay the hilton prices. Would we stay again ? YES. Just to note, the pub accross the road do not do food, there is a kebab van in pub car park, who will bring food into the pub for you as long as you buy a drink in the pub, couldn't be more friendly

Broken tiles in bathroom, which could cut your feet, could do with updating

Positively surprise. Located in a quiet village and yet surrounded by 2 little shops, a fish and chips and a pub - bus stop across the road (within 10mn from airport but not on flight path) + possibility to leave the car on the property for a fee. The room was quite spacious, pristine in every way and the staff friendly, helpful and professional. Very comfy bed and great hot shower! Definitely a fabulous find! Booked right away for my next upcoming short break and added in my favourites

Not overpriced and yet only a 5mn bus ride from airport (literally). Possibility to leave the car for a small fee. Bus stop across the road. Despite being by the main road, it is very quiet as it is a small village… not on flight path either! Staff is helpful and full of information. The room is surprisingly large and kept very clean. Very well presented. Quite a large wardrobe. Large comfortable double bed. Good size bathroom with very hot shower. A great little gem!
