Owners/staff very helpful and obliging. Simple and adequate buffet breakfast. Very quiet location. Perfectly situated within the atmospheric old town.

Floor area of bedroom a bit restricted and the room size precluded tea/coffee making facilities etc.. Being a small hotel there are no shared areas apart from the breakfast room and so, in poor weather (did not apply to me), a guest might feel a little restricted by being confined to their bedroom especially if this was quite small.

Breakfast was wonderful, lots of selections for a variety of preferences and diets. Although the room was somewhat small, I loved it! Very cozy and the bed was excellent. Excellent shower, etc. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The biggest thing that impressed me, being a morning coffee addict, was that they provided a coffee machine that we could use anytime.

The only problem we had was that the hotel puts the free transportation access card in the room, according to them. We did not receive one in our room and we were unable to obtain one from the management. Apparently, these cards are highly controlled, which makes sense. But, it seems to me that the management should give the card directly to the people when they check in. Then, there is no mistake.

We love everything about our accommodation at Domschatz Hotel, especially the sweet staff at breakfast, she was the nicest we have met! We were lucky to be able to book an entire holiday home across the hotel. It was the perfect spot at Quedlinburg, just across of Stiftskirche St Servatii and around 20 minutes nice walk from the main station. The holiday home was spacious and well equipped, they even provided the mineral water and beer in the fridge which was very nice gesture. The bedrooms are comfortable and perfect for family. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would love to book the same accommodation type if we come back one day to Quedlinburg!

Needed an "on the road stop" and saw this incredible place, and wow, the photos don't do justice to the town or the accommodation. It's a wonderful restoration of a very old building with all the quirky features, but is exceptionally well done and really comfortable. The city is a few minutes walk away and the literally hundreds of old timber frame buildings will take your breath away. Lovely meal next door too.

This charming hotel is a great position, right at the foot of the cathedral's hill, next to the pedestrian area. It has a small private car park but a slot can be booked in advance. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean and the breakfast buffet in the morning tasty and varied. We particularly appreciated the possibility of enjoying a free warm drink during the day and a glass of liqueur in the evening by the reception desk. The staff is kind and helpful.

Great hospitality from the personel, great location, excellent breakfast, access to private parking (paid extra).

It is not a minus but be aware that if located in the old part of the building you will hear steps of the person one floor above you. That is due to the wooden design and the fact that it is a historical building. In our case person(s) above us were not moving much so it was not an issue.

Perfect location, short walk to the Market Square. Great hospitality of the owners. You feel like home from the entrance. Generous breakfasts. Tea and coffee all day from modern express. Vending machine with drinks and snacks instead of minibar- great savings on waste power consumption! Night cup on top of all. Highly recommended place.

Beautiful house in a very good location right next to the city palace. Excellent breakfast and friendly, attentive staff. Everything is very clean and very quiet.

Single room in the attic without air conditioning. It was very hot in the room and the fan provided little cooling.

Location. The hotel is located on a quiet, beautiful street. Near the hotel there is a table with chairs where you can sit and drink coffee, which everyone staying in this hotel can make for themselves for free. There is an automatic coffee machine. Clean room, friendly staff.

There were no downsides for me

Breakfast was super!!!! All buffet. Free coffee-tea until 8pm. Location was about a ten minute walk to the market area of the old town. Room was very nice tho a little small.

One person working at night, a small, older lady, was not very friendly.
