My family and I have travelled extensively all over the world and Sant Jaume in Alcudia is the only place we’ve ever returned to for a second time. We adore this small guesthouse, the staff, and the town so close to the beach. Breakfast and coffee in the courtyard is my favorite. Check in is simple anytime of the day or night and they adore my 5 year old and make up a small bed in the spacious room for him.

It may be charming to some but earplugs are a must as the birds are loud outside the rooms. I sleep like a dream here with earplugs in even on the hard king size bed.

Great location inside the walls of Alcudia and a stones throw from the archeological site, free parking only a minutes walk away. Rosemarie, our host, was friendly and welcoming, she knew lots about the locality, and pointed us to the best beaches. The accommodation was very traditional and had a very homely feel. The breakfast was another highlight, in fact my wife said it counted as the best meal she had all week! All in all, a great place to stay.

Not a lot to dislike. If I were to be critical it would not be about the property, but possibly how tourist orientated the town of Alcudia has become with trinket shops on every corner.

Lovely stay at Sant Jaume. The hosts are great and helpful. They assisted with a bike rental and restaurant reservations. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The breakfast was very complete. They had a good variety of options and they provided fresh orange juice and eggs every morning. The location was in a quite street within the walls of old Alcudia. Parking was easy and free outside the walls. The is no elevator but that was not an issue. We got the room at the top of the house. It was big! We got a nice view and the bed was super comfortable (firm). Room has AC and worked very well.

A wonderful selection for our breakfast buffet which changed every day. Rosi, the owner, is a brilliant host. She helped us with a number of small problems and couldn't have done more for us.

We liked everything about the property and staff. The only addition we would make, and maybe this is a British thing, perhaps tea making facilities in room. However, that is a minor thing and we loved everything about Sant Jaume.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The traditional decor was beautiful, our room (number 5) was huge with a big bathroom and lovely views over the old town towards the church. The breakfast was exceptional, it was freshly prepared every day and it was really a highlight of our stay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, would love to come back one day!

Such a charming place, located in the heart of the village. We loved everything - decor, comfort, and hosts. The mother and daughter hosts were so kind and welcoming. As our Spanish is limited, we were elated to be able to communicate in French and English. Breakfast was a delight each day. We will recommend this place to all of our friends and family. Easily, 5 stars.

Everything from the room to the staff was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful view looking out over the old town. The breakfast had a lot of variety and everything was delicious. All staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, willing to answer any questions. The location was amazing right in the old town with many great restaurants a short walk away. The Port of Alcudia and nearby beaches were a short drive away as well.

Traditional Spanish building, beautifully and tastefully restored. 4 - poster bed was huge! Breakfast each morning in a pretty courtyard was delicious with lots of choices available. All staff were lovely & very helpful. Rosi, the host, went over & above for all guests, including leaving a breakfast for our early start on our last morning. Her language skills and those of her son were excellent.

Rosemarie was so friendly, I turned up later than I had expected and she was genuinely concerned and tried ringing me to check I was ok, thank you Rosemarie. Breakfast in the courtyard was beautiful.

Nothing, I chose a traditional hotel in the heart of Alcudia Old Town so the room was pretty basic but full of character

Fabulous stay Sant Jaume, we could fault our stay. Our room was beautiful as was the whole b and b. The breakfast was exceptional and there was an excellent choice every morning. Rosi and other colleagues couldn’t have been more accommodation. Rosi especially was very helpful and great at recommending local restaurants and how to get to the B and B by public transport.
