All staff were smiley and very helpful, particularly the lass who looked after our breakfast on both mornings of our stay. Probably the cleanest place at which we have ever stayed. Our suite room was spacious and comfortable and the curtains opened to a fantastic view of the sea. Our almost clinically clean bathroom was equipped with the usual facilities, plus a large jacuzzi bath and lovely separate shower cubicle. A short path led down to the coastal path and the beach, with an easy walk to the harbour. We could go on and on and on but suffice to say that we can thoroughly recommend a stay at Invernairne.

Only thing we didn't like was that we hadn't booked a full weeks stay.

This place was wonderful. Staff was always helpful and super friendly. Big shout out to Carol who went above and beyond in her helpfulness and extreme friendliness. She was super engaging and had great tips. We had a rough trip in and she gave us a room with a lot of quiet so we could get some great sleep. She is absolutely wonderful! Rooms were comfy and lovely. The honesty bar was fabulous and fun to sit and play cards at. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect. Walking distance to town and restaurants and the beach.

The property was fantastic, the location, perfect, our room had the most amazing view from the window, our bed was so comfortable and warm, it was hard to get out of it in the morning. The staff were so lovely and the breakfast, delicious. The residents lounge, and honesty bar was a great asset

The only tiny complaint I would have, would be the lack of tea making facilities in our room. There was a courtesy hot drink machine, but we are tea and Coffee lovers, and the machine didn’t cut it for us. This however is a very small point and would not put me off returning

The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was very comfortable, providing a cosy and restful environment. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions. I also appreciated the convenience of onsite parking. Overall, a wonderful experience—I would definitely stay here again!"

We were unable to get dinner as all four nearby restaurants were fully booked, which was a bit disappointing. This place provides the contact numbers for the nearby eateries, find time and book in advance before arrival.

As a lone traveller, single rooms are often squeezed into awkward places, but not at The Invernairne. The view was stunning, over the Moray firth and up towards the Cromarty and Dornoch firths. Could quite happily have sat and watched the tide ebb and flow. Clean and well looked after with a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Well appointed bar, great views from bar, with good selection of games for guests.

Nothing really. Maybe a tattie scone at breakfast if I’m very picky, but really, the breakfasts were good too.

Beautiful guest house set in a lovely area with direct access to the beach. Rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. Family room was great with little alcove area with curtains for single bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. The lounge and bar area was perfect for watching the sunset. Breakfast was really well cooked, everything fresh. Nairn is a lovely town with amazing beach, we will definitely return to Invernairne.

Not much but could have had some more vegetarian options at breakfast and possibly some potato scones 😋

Absolutely love the property - historic building, unsurpassed commanding view of the waterfront, and in a quiet high-end neighborhood. Great business or leisure hotel. The library/lounge and garden area were my favorite - perfect place to sip a drink and unwind at the end of the day.

The only downside to the room was the early chatter from the local resident sea birds … but what would you expect at a seaside location? As nice as it was having the windows open while we slept at night, I’d close them before 3am next time.

Exceeded expectations. Wanted to avoid Inverness parking issues and decided to stay in Nairn. What a lovely spot with a path to the sea and to a public walk along the sea. A very pleasant surprise. The staff was wonderful. There is a fabulous bar/sitting room with a real fireplace that was lit in the evening. Peaceful and with plenty of parking. The breakfast is very basic however coffee exceptional. Lovely lovely spot with the sound of the sea!! Perfect!

The Staff absolutely amazing. Brilliant bar and the hotel itself is a beautiful building. Breakfast was great also. Location spot on 2 minutes and you are on the beach.

The room I was in ( St Andrews ) was small. I knew that. The unfortunate thing was the seagulls dancing around the roof through the night. However I would 100 % stay again. I would simply get a bigger room.

It was very comfortable. The suite was lovely and the large bed was very comfy. The staff were all very nice, especially Carol. This place is very personal and welcoming. The honesty bar is also a nice touch. The roaring log fire in the lounge is great too. The breakfast was quite basic but very satisfactory. I have stayed in the 6 star Golf hotel a few times on the same area and it was much more expensive and very poor. Staff awful!
