Louise was excellent..terrific customer service skills. The breakfast ladies were both engaging and helpful. And dinner was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection...I noticed no comprises to quality or ingredients. Thank you.

There's nothing I did not like. As someone who's been in and occasionally gets involved in the hospitality industry now on a freelance basis, I do have an understanding of the financial constraints..it would be great if this great hotel was more supported by the locality and perhaps better promoted to visitors whether leisure or business. I was unaware of this establishment but now that I am ill certainly return.

Receptionist Louise, who turned out to be housekeeper and bartender, attended to the restaurant and always answered any questions we had was exceptional, as was the young man who kept us supplied with tea and coffee when requested. I must confess we have visited this hotel before and would not have returned if anything less than excellent.

What's not to like???

I booked the apartment for my neices whilst I was there on a business trip....the space was amazing as it had a hot tub spearate kitchenette, including a living area, separate toilet and shower. The hot tub area is within an indoor hut and also included a pool table. This meant it was secure and can be used in all kinds of weather. Nairn is beautiful and you have the gorgeous sandy beaches.

The only thing missing was a hairdryer but we managed to get one. Also staff are not around at reception often so need to go looking for them. Having said that, the hotel is in a quiet place and really safe.

great location, clean rooms

arrived to find no towels in the room, not even a hand towel. by the time we took two rucksacks in and unpacked and noticed the member of staff at front desk was gone leaving a notice to state if we need anything to call a number. tried calling several times with no luck. ended up having to go to west end sister hotel 5 minutes walk away to find someone to give us towels. from when we arrived until the morning there was hardly any staff in the building. there is a bar but only open weekends apparently, so if you want a drink you need to go to sister hotel. felt like a ghost town.

Staff were friendly and helpful- finding fans for us on a very hot weekend. Rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable.

My only complaint would be that we had booked the apartment suite with hot tub. When we arrived we were told that we would have had to give several days’ notice that we wanted to use the hot tub to have it ready! I would have thought it would be reasonable to assume that if someone books a hot tub room then they would probably want to use the hot tub! Other than that we had a fantastic stay and it was a lovely hotel.

Location was perfect for me at the quiet end of lovely Nairn, but close enough to walk to the town centre and sea front for walks.

Only niggle I had was the room I was in was next to the corridor fire door which people closed by letting it go and banging. Not a hotel problem as the door needs to be there, but maybe having a soft closing type of mechanism could help reduce the problem.

Was lovely and nice and clean and staff were really helpful.

I could hear everything in the room next door which was quite noisy unfortunately although couldn’t be helped from hotel. Also breakfast is pretty expensive at £15 for a fry up, normally pay just under £10 when travelling for work.

The staff were friendly looked after me well. Hotel was easy to find and was located close to the event I was attending. No issues with parking at the hotell

The room had obviously been used as a "smoking" room in the past, as there was a strong smell of smoke lingering in the room. This despite the fact Scotland has been non-smoking in public places for over fifteen years!
