No food included, however the room was absolutely amazing, well laid out, quality tea, lovely soft clean white towels and a brilliant powershower. It did take a while for the water to run hot, but given the distance it has to travel that was understandable. Self check in is the norm now, getting used to it and the guy on the other end of the ring bell was very patient with me.

I had no idea the room was up in the attic as I have Osteoperosis and stairs are my biggest nightmare for falling. However the comfort in the room more than made up for the inconvenience.

Family owned and operated with excellent service and friendliness. Dealt with my reservation problem quickly, efficiently and personably.

Reservations made under the previous owners do not show on the new owner's system - not their fault, but this is an issue which Booking.com need to fix from their system's perspective. Tip: call ahead to double check they have your reservation if you made it through Booking.com a few months ago.

The B&B was in a great location. The room was clean and spacious, with a massive bed. The bathroom had a great shower, with complimentary toiletries. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was quite nice.

The bed was a little too firm; one of the lights in the room kept going off, and we could hear the other guests making noise at night, but apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our one night stay was delightful. Super room, friendly staff. If we'd been staying longer, it would have been an ideal base to explore the area. We ate dinner there; modern bright bar/ restaurant. Hearty, tasty meal. Staff were cheery and helpful. Hotel was decorated, smartly and very clean.

Only niggle was the beautiful curtains in the bedroom did not close, despite them being blackout curtains. There were blackout blinds however really needed the curtains to close to be effective. The curtains were on two small rails as opposed to one full length rail. Everything else was superb.🤗

Good location, short walking distance to town centre & train station. Clean. spacious comfortable room. Good breakfast choice of continental or full English.

Room was on top floor accessible by steep curved staircase. Not suitable for elderly guests. Coffee served at breakfast instant, fresh coffee would have been preferable.

The room was perfect. It was split into two where our daughter slept in a Lounge type area (no door) on the sofa bed. The bed we had was massive and very comfortable. It was very clean and spacious. We are considering returning very soon when back in the area.

Minor point and we knew before we booked but there is no breakfast currently. ALTHOUGH you can book at a hotel around the corner which we were unable to take advantage of due to an early morning check out.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely bed , lovely bathroom. Not being able to have breakfast there was not an issue at all for us. The bar downstairs was light and airy , the staff very friendly. All good!

What saddened me was a little sign in the beautiful bathroom that said " Please do not clean your golf clubs on the bath towels" . What sort of a moron would do that in a delightful place like this ? Would they do that at home I wonder?

We had a suite which was very comfortable, with a separate living room ,bedroom and bathroom would stay again they were very kind and caring everything I asked for was no problem great service from check in to check out

Good spacious room, excellent bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities good. Heating once found warmed the room well on a very cold night. Would stay here again. Excellent price.

The carpet needed hoovering, several bits on the floor. Pity about the view, a rather dirty untidy flat roof top with empty paper cups thrown around and needed a clean up. It would be good to have a few herbal teas for night time…a bonus!

Comfy beds, cosy room, quiet. Dinner was very good. Lovely shower and bath sheets provided. Room was upgraded for free.

Breakfast is in a neighbouring hotel. This wasn't an issue as we found a great cafe in town. There is noone on reception on Sunday. Posted the key through the letterbox. The main room light goes on and off.
