Inchrye is beautifully located beside the water, in a small town outside of Inverness. We loved the space in the bedroom & the property has direct access to walk along the beach front towards Fort George or into town to the pub for dinner. The sun is still shining at 9:30 at night so this was a beautiful way to end a busy day! The hosts Dougie and Jess are incredibly warm and welcoming. They felt like family and went above and beyond to provide information or make personal connections. It doesn’t seem like anything would be too hard for them, Jess even packed us a small breakfast to go one morning.

Fantastic experience. The property is run by a lovely couple. There is parking directly in front of the entrance. The room, like the rest of the property, is very well furnished and very clean. The bathroom is fantastic and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is prepared and served directly by the owners and is available in both continental and Scottish versions: delicious! I would also like to highlight the kindness of the owners who also gave us tickets to the annual Ardersier gala. Without a doubt the best overnight experience we have had in Scotland. Highly recommended!

Clean room with a nice breakfast
Was a bit bombarded when we arrived with info and they wanted to know our breakfast choices then and there. Was pretty tired from travelling so the chance to have a coffee first would have been welcome. Unfortunately we arrived early and had our timing wrong which happens with all these different times before you're allowed into the accommodation these days. It used to be 2pm but now it can be 3pm - 4pm - 5pm. It's hard to keep up when you're touring round. A bit of leeway would be appreciated.

We arrived late but the owner was very welcoming & informative. The beds were very comfy & room was spacious for 2 bikers with full kit & panniers. The room was spotless & facilities excellent. The breakfast was freshly cooked & good quality products. Would highly recommend for people who don't want the hassle & bustle of Inverness.
Nothing. I suppose some would say not enough off street parking with room for 4 vehicles on the driveway however this was not width. 2 to the rear 2 to the front. Plenty of on street parking so wouldn't say it's an issue.

This is a beautiful old home, well cared for and with lots of nice architectural details. The bed was comfortable and shower was nice. The location is very convenient to Inverness Airport and a quick walk takes you to great views of the Firth.
There are not great options nearby to get a nice dinner or even a pub. There was a staffing issue so I was informed it was continental breakfast only when I checked in. Even that was a bit disappointing with overripe and/or frozen fruit offerings and a bit too much bread on the plate. Self-serve would have been preferable and wasted less food.

Can’t really fault this property, lovely and friendly greeting from the owners. Clean, spacious bedroom with a kettle and decent shower, also a heated towel rail which was helpful for drying our swimming gear. As mad swimming people we were super happy to be right on the water and went for a dip straight away. Breakfast was very generous and good quality too.
Nothing really. On street parking, but it’s a quiet road so no problem for us.

Lovely quiet location… The room was well furnished with lounge, comfortable beds and ensuite. Tea and coffee and biscuit provisions were an appreciated and in hall could be replenished. Shower mat provided was great as the shower floor was slippery. Great communication telling us to eat in Inverness as no restaurants were currently viable. Wifi easy to connect and decent connection. Hostess was very friendly. Breakfast of an excellent standard and the choice of Hot or continental both very large. A very short walk to airport bus
Ensuite was a little cramped. Only one small luggage rack Bathroom plastic disposable cups 😩 And hostess could not give info on bus times or cost to airport. She’s the hostess. She should know these things even if they change regularly. Such a shame both restaurants nearby had closed that the hostess Fore-warned us

Bedroom was clean tidy , shower area was clean and tidy, shower was nice and warm, beds were comfortable and clean , plenty of space to hang up your clothes, good size chest of drawers, nice touch to have a microwave, and a fridge both of which I used and were clean , room had a TV , also had black out curtains which were good . Booking in was simple and easy booking out leave the keys in a box .
Can't think of anything.

Great referral to the Star Hotel for dinner. Breakfast was nice and the.man serving it quite personable. Bed was comfy.
Bathroom sink was very small and there was inadequate places to sit toiletries. The current/blinds were not adequate for room darkening. A shaft of light came in from the side right on to the pillow on the left side of the bed. I had to get up a nd drape a towel between the TV and window to block it.

The breakfast was served each morning of my stay exactly as I wanted it to be, and it was excellent and plentiful!!! Dougie and Jess were extremely welcoming, personable and knowledgeable about local points of interest; I very much enjoyed meeting them!!! It is a beautiful old property, spotlessly clean and well upgraded.
There was nothing that I didn’t like.
