The location was perfect. Very central, great amenities, lovely staff, very clean and comfortable. The room was bigger than we expected. The shower was really good! We often bought dinner at the bar and they would deliver it to our room. The food there was also incredible. The heater was good and the electric blanket on the bed was perfect. Can’t fault the place!

Limited parking out the back for guests but we did go during the Easter break. There was about 20 steps up to the accommodation so if you had a disability that impacted your mobility this could be an issue.

We loved the way we were greeted and taken to our room and explained everything. We loved our balcony as you could look out the main streets and see everything. The location was exceptional, although we walked around the shops and food places, we had tea both nights at the hotel which we enjoyed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean, secure (Which is important) and tidy.

Great place to stay and central to all that you want to do in and around Daylesford. The room was great and maybe not what you might expect to find above a pub. It was modern, clean and comfortable and had all that we needed for our short stay.

The only dislike was getting bags and suitcases up and down the stairs. Not a big deal really and probably all part of the experience staying in a room above a beautiful old hotel.

Lovely area for exploring Daylesford. We walked from the hotel to the great Mill market, do not do this as it is further than expected - drive there. Really good food in the evening, one of the best curries I've had and my wife had delicious fish. Slept very well here and will stay again next time we're in Daylesford.

Location, excellent room, very friendly staff that greet you.

The stairs you have to use to leave the building prior to 10am are very steep and the width of steeps felt tiny. If you have mobility or balance problems it is not easy to get yourself and heavy bags down this exit path.

Great location. Walk to everything. On the main street. Rooms were nicely furnished and some nice touches in them like a breakfast box. Very clean. Balcony was great to view the street from.

Floors a little squeaky. Our room wasn't made up over night which I felt should have been for the money we paid.

Our room wasen’t serviced. There was no soap on the bathroom basin. They didn’t come and take away our dirty dinner plates, glasses or cutlery. The following morning they didn’t take away our dirty breakfast dishes.

Immaculate clean room. Good modern facilities. Huge bathroom with twin showers. Pillow overload

Bistro closes 9pm NOT as advertised 9.30pm No operating instructions for the built- in electric blankets. No seating to watch the TV. Very poor check-in procedure with little or no signage and no dedicated staff Check-out even worse. Has to be done in the Bistro, which opens @9pm. If you want to leave earlier, good luck finding a staff member before

Centrally located, spacious room and the large ensuite had double shower. Kickstart breakfast provided everyday included cereals, Juice, muesli bar, milk and biccies. Interior looks to be recently renovated while retaining the original features. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I would definitely be staying here again.

Everything! The location was so central, the room was so spacious and beautiful, with a balcony looking over the tree lined streets of daylesford. The staff were friendly and greeted us with humor and laughter, and made sure we were looked after :)
