Everything! It was perfect! The moment we arrived, the receptionist (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) was absolutely amazing! She was so welcoming and helpful in every way from guiding us for directions to the beach, great restaurants, and she tried so hard to find a way for us to be able to have a late checkout so we could shower after our excursion! Unfortunately the late checkout didn’t workout but it didn’t affect our stay at this absolutely quaint hotel! When we got to our “apartment “ we were elated! Full kitchen, living room, great bathroom and a lovely bedroom that has a screened in deck that faces a little lake/pond. We were only 5-10 minutes from the beach, restaurants and only 12 minutes from our excursion. We were in Marco Island less than 24 hours for this excursion, which was a bucket list item! Marco Island Lakeside Inn was a part of making that dream come true with such a beautiful experience! The inn has everything you need for a longer stay in the room/apartment. We will definitely be going back!

Not having the late checkout availability

The location was very private and quiet. The kitchen was well appointed. Updated appliances. The layout of the suite was very good. The screened in porch was nice. Everything was clean. Really nice. They had beach towels available.

Staff was not trained and unable to help with recommendations on activities and beaches. No tea is available. This would be a simple thing to provide, but they weren't interested. We needed additional bar soap because we were there several days, and staff could not find any.

last minute booking and the price was great. I was worried because the price was so low that the accomodations were going to be inline with the price. we always stay in an airbnb on marco so we are spoiled. when we arrived the man at the front desk was welcoming and kind. quick checkin! our room, was not a room, it was a one bedroom condo! small but quaint and very clean! stainless appliances breakfast bar, livingroom and small breakfast table. great bathroom with large walkin shower! the bedroom was sweet with a walkout screened balcony that overlooked a small lake! wonderful choice, im glad I made it! what a little gem!

the area the hotel is located in is older, in fact I believe its in an historic district. a little run down compared to the rest of marco island but once you reach the hotel its not an issue. the pool does look like it needs an upgrade, but it was clean!

The staff was incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and prompt. Although I arrived very early and my room wasn’t ready yet, housekeeping prepared it quickly once it became available. I was also able to ship packages, which were stored properly and securely. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and service-oriented. The room was spacious, well-equipped, clean, and in great condition. I only wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the property and the area!

Everything was super clean so it made our stay even more comfortable. The appt is very well equiped with a full kitchen, and again, everything was very clean!! A big thank you to the housekeeping staff! We had a view on water which was nice.

We couldn’t get the wi-fi from our room, the signal was too low. And the pool wasnt very clean and therefore appealing.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Bed very comfortable. I loved looking out over the lake from the deck.

The pool needed more cleaning. The air condition unit was very loud and hot sitting on our deck. There was also some sort of very loud pump or something in the closet that ran quite often.

It’s more like a motel. Easy parking that’s free outside, hotel room with small kitchen. Separate bedroom with balcony. Property has a swimming pool with loungers . The inn is in a quiet residential area overlooking a lake.

Air condition unit on balcony renders the balcony unusable to relax on. The aircon inside is quite loud and the walls to adjacent rooms thin.

The apartment was comfortable and clean and more than well equipped for our stay. It was everything we needed and was great for the price we paid. We did not use the washing facilities or the swimming pool but both looked fine to use. Particular shout out to the lovely lady on the reception desk who was extremely welcoming and helpful. One day she helped us book a kayaking tour which we couldn’t do ourselves due to no mobile phone service. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for this!

We have stayed here before and this time we somehow booked a two bedroom, it was huge! The staff are always so nice and welcoming, and the rooms are so clean! The view was lovely, and they make sure that everything you need are supplied. This isn't a hotel, the rooms are so well done, more like a condo. Wonderful!

A full length mirror is definitely needed in the bedroom please!

Balcony was protected with screens (linnae) which made it wonderful to not worry about bugs day or night. Parking was free and next to the building.

Heated pool instead of not heated. We could hear a fan sound constantly while sitting at the pool. Maybe this had to be on but it made sitting at the pool not the best.
