Everything about Villa Gaia is amazing! But the most wonderful thing was the staff! An amazing family that takes cares of the hotel and guests! The room is amazing! Very comfortable and quiet and spacious. The cleaning? Spectacular! They take much care of everything. The view? Breathtaking! Breakfast? Best meal to start the amazing days exploring around. Complete with fresh bread and cheese and prosciutto! Eggs and cereal. A royalty breakfast. Would like to thank all the family: Roberta, Monica, Susi, Helena and Paolo! You guys were amazing. And thanks the ones we didn’t meet as well! Definitely it’s in our plans to return to Villa Gaia!

There’s nothing to not like there. Everything is amazing.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The location is quite good, a 10-minute walk away from city centre. The communication with the owners was very pleasant, operative and fast. The room was very clean, well-furnished and recently decorated, so is the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the lining is soft and pleasant. There is an electric kettle, tea/coffee, a pair of cups in the room. Also they provide slippers for each visitor. The room cleaning is on the daily basis. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and polite. Breakfast is served. It is always fresh, tasty and full, including bread, flakes, cheese and ham, fresh juices, bakery, boiled eggs, yogurt, some fruit, tea/coffee from the coffee-machine. Breakfast is 10/10, super good. The owners try and create coziness everywhere round the hotel and it feels much. Our appreciation to them for their efforts. We will be happy to stay there again.

The views are beautiful and the rooms are cute, cozy. All ladies from the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even if they speak only Italian :) The breakfast! It was one of the best we have ever had anywhere, plenty of variety and very good quality, in a cozy environment with view.

We were a group so I got to see 3 different rooms - I can tell that there is a variation, especially in bathrooms. Most likely you will get quite an old one, but there is at least one room with a completely renovated one. I hope they will make all new, because for the same price it is very unbalanced. The staff mostly speak only Italian (which is okay with me, but wanted to mention). The parking spaces are veery tight and can be full fast, if there is no place for your car, make sure to ask help from the reception, they will make sure to find you something :) The location is a little bit far from the city center, if you want to go out to eat you have to drive or walk a bit.

We stayed 5 nights at Villa Gaia during offseason in May and really enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly, helpful and gave us great recommendations for activities and restaurants alike. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and very clean. The hotel had a great attention to detail. In addtion, the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located 10 min walking distance from the centre.

The owners were so sympathetic and you could spend all day speaking to them (lol). I’ve only stepped over this time in Cortina, but the location is ok, if wouldn’t be a problem walking 10/15 to reach downtown also the street was calm with no noise, great environment to have a great sleep night. I stayed in a single room, it was quite narrow the space to manage the luggage and everything as perfectly clean and organized. The breakfast was really good with diferentes types of foods and drinks to eat, everything was fresh and testy.

This immaculate accommodation was perfect for our stay in Cortina. Monica and Roberta are wonderful hosts and everything about our stay was perfect. The breakfast items were plentiful and there is a tea pot in each room for guests. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated and we had a lovely view of the mountains. The rooms are refreshed each day and one can walk into town quite easily. I would definitely come back and stay again at Villa Gaia.

Although it is not at the center of town, it is easily accessible from town center by foot. Owned and operated by a family, Villa Gaia does give us a home-like experience. The facilities are well maintained, all clean and tidy. Our room doesn’t have the mountain view, but it’s comfy and quiet allowing us to rest comfortably after a long day’s walk. The breakfast was also great and plentiful, providing all our needs to cope with the hikes. Friendly staff answering all our questions and more, pointing us to great restaurants as well as great hiking spots of the season. Although we missed Tre Cime route due to snow-blocked passage, thanks to Villa Gaia staff, we were able to hike Cinque Torri and Cascate Fanes, and we enjoyed both walks~ We will definitely come back again!

The room is a bit compact for two people with two trunks.

It was a quaint and cosy property with mountains in view and fresh air. Walking distance to the town Centre but yet away from the crowds. Breakfast was enough for us. As the hosts were kind enough to offer toasted warm bread with ham and cheese. Room and bathroom was new and clean. Room 52. All basic amenities were there. Including shower cap and cotton wool/buds. Bring your own room slippers though.

This hotel/B&B met our every need and we would give it five stars. To start, it was reasonably-priced. We were a ten-minute walk from the main restaurants/shops area, so we could get a meal and return to our quiet area of the small city in minutes. The room had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The room was just the right size. I was so impressed with their attention to detail. In the room, they had prepared a variety of teas for us to drink, and provided a tea pot. There were small shelves for us to put our toiletries on in the bathroom along with custom made wardrobes along the sides of the bed-all very well organized and distributed. Their use of space was very efficient and made the room extremely comfortable. The bed was a true queen size-plenty big for my husband and I (we are not small guys). And Paolo and Dobiacco (along with the other staff I am sorry I did not get their names) were so attentive and kind, always cheerful and willing to help. The parking was free and there was plenty of space for us all to fit. Every morning, the housekeeper came in to make the bed while we were at breakfast, which was a treat. The breakfast options were plentiful and fresh. They had a tray of ham and cheese along with a variety of breads to start off. Then, yogurt, fruits, cereals, various pastries, a dispenser for various juices all laid out beautifully in the dining room. You never felt like there were too many people or it was crowded. And the location of hotel was within a thirty minute drive to most of the best mountain hikes in the Dolomites. To Seceda, it was further, but we also loved going there. We absolutely loved this stay and would highly recommend it. We will be back-we hope.

Absolutely nothing.

Very good breakfast. Spotless clean rooms. Good location. We used the car to go to ski lifts, but we walked for dinner every where in town ( around 1 km from city center, restaurants and shops).
