I stayed at Poonja International in Mangalore on 26th June. The location is really convenient — it’s close to both the bus stand and railway station, which made travel easy. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The staff was amazing — always ready to help and very polite, which really made the stay pleasant. The restaurant was also good, and overall, at this price point, the hotel offers great value for money. Would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip!

If I had to point out something, I felt the furniture and door fittings could have been better maintained, but otherwise, the room itself was good.

Location is good being in the haert of the city with access to malls, popular shopping outlets which are in major metros. Room was sufficient for the three of us and didn't cause any inconvenience while moving inside the room , extra bed was provided immediately on requesting. The complimentary breakfast spread was healthy, delicious, filling and was a great start fro the day ahead. I must particulary appreciate Mr, Satish the Banquet Manager and Shri Rajesh Shetty who was in-charge who went around interacting with the guests cajoling them to try items not found on the plates of the guests; enquiring about their comfort, making sure that items were replenished. Not forgetting the waiters who cleared/cleaned the tables immediately. All the staff including those at the reception desk, room service, security were always on their toes and smiling as they responded to our queries, making them feel at ease. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends, colleagues who may visit Mangalore

The location was good. The check-in and check-out processes were quick. The structure of the room and furniture was all good.

The floor wasn’t really clean. I saw things fallen under the bed. The bed covers weren’t very clean (or were stained), and so were the towels. The closet, although aesthetically pleasing, was very limited in terms of space.

Really couple friendly hotel. The service and ambience of the hotel punja international is very good. We are very satisfied. Value for money. But When we go to pub at the 10th floor.its not worth. Staff of pub are very rude if u dnt order more than 500rs drink. I feel very disgusting about pub staff. Resturant staff and hotel staff are very cooperative and good.

Morning breakfast handling not like. Is free inform. When we start no information. Water avilability. Manager is not guiding to take comfortable breakfast monitoring guests and support staff not play a role in that. Is bit need to improve. Guest is guest iwith prestige. Not look or feel like thief enjoying free meal.

The old fashioned curtains to be replaced The artificial flowers placed in restaurant takes out the ambience of the restaurant They can replace it with simple artificial look alike grass

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Room service is prompt. The staff guided me very well in regards to commuting the city using local transit options. The rooftop bar Top House is a very nice spot to hang out in the evenings - perfect spot when its raining and you dont want to step out into the city. The location is extremely convenient if you intend to use local transport options or need quick access to stores, food joints, malls. Quite a few options to explore within walking distance. Great value for money.

The hotel was a shirt distance from the train station. I don’t mind walking but you could take a Auto Rickshaw or Tuk-Tuks. Breakfast is a buffet style of South Indian Breakfast.

Turned up 5hrs early and asked if I could check in early and they wanted to charge me a full day! Also on check out they had no change at front desk to pay my hotel tab.

Great staying in the hotel . Hospitality and kindness off staff can be dated back to the 90s that felt great for me . Breakfast was great . Old rooms are being renovated. The ⛵🌊 view is great . overall great stay

Water was not good for bathing.

Breakfast was good.. old furniture mattress on bed old and hard to sleep on... reception staff very friendly and always smiling overall a good stay...
