The staff at the Inn was amazing, especially Tony at the desk. He was very cordial and helpful. The room's necessities were well thought out;; the kitchen had everything we needed, the pots and accessories were great, the fridge was a great size and it included an icemaker! The bathroom was very clean with a large shower.. the TV had a swivel base and the bed was comfortable. Lastly,with the exception of potatoes, breakfast was fantastic!! I've stayed at hotels before but this one tops them all! I would definitely choose Residence Inn on my next visit to Virginia Beach. I loved that there was free parking!

I didn't like that the TV kept going out and circling around during our program. There should be extra hangers for guests and breakfast should be extended an hr.

The facility was immaculate! There was plenty of staff and lots of cleaning going on. The pool was clean, the courtyard was clean. We stayed in a two queen suite and it was impressive! Very nice place to stay!

The breakfast was just ok for the cost of the room. There were bagels but no bread for toast. Pastries would have been nice. And be prepared to have everything removed at 9am sharp.....even if there is still food left. Even the hot water for tea was removed by 9:08!

The staff was nice and very helpful. The hotel is pet friendly, and the parking lot was connected with other parking from other businesses around, which made it easier to walk the dog. Note that this was a weekend, so may be busier during the week. They had doggie bags for you around the area. The indoor pool was nice for some relaxation. Overall, it was a well maintained and comfortable place.

There could be more lighting around the kitchen sink.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. I have executive housekeeping management experience and I would have to give the cleanness a 10/10. Customer Service is beyond amazing everyone greets you and is very pleasant. Breakfast was a 10/10 the best I have a had having a lactose fiancée he was actually able to eat as if he was home. A softball tournament brought us to town I think we found our hotel for the future.

This hotel did not disappoint, looks exactly like the pics on the website. It was very clean, the staff was nice and breakfast was good! My family enjoyed our stay. It's close to Target, Walmart, Wegman, Food Lion, and restaurants galore. And it's literally down the road from Trashmore Park(love this park). 15 min drive to Norfolk(nice city), Neptune Beach 20 min drive, and NAS Oceana 25 mins(my son is in the Navy)

Definition of excellence. We couldn’t have had a better stay and for sure couldn’t have chosen better. We drove to Virginia … 3 kids, wifey and I to spend some time on the beach for the weekend. I had read some reviews and was a little worried the family may not like the distance from the beach. Let’s just say, walking into the reception, we were blown away by the ambience then the hospitality of the front desk. Breezy check, got to the room … all the kids and wifey were saying was wow! Wow! Wow! Whoever designed the rooms thought of everything. Kitchen, full size fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker, stovetop, cutlery, wineglasses, dining area complete with seating, pendant lighting, living room area, tv with over 100 pls channels, beautiful room, excellent storages, dressing mirror area, one of the cleanest bathrooms we’ve been in and walk in shower. Extra towels, dispenser shower body and hair wash, extra plus extra towels, lost count of the trash cans in the room, area lighting so u could be up while others sleep. Did I mention the air conditioner? Or the extra sofa bed that my oldest daughter makes her’s when we travel. Breakfast was wonderful in my opinion as we have been in many many “complimentary breakfast” hotels in the past. We didn’t use the gym but the kids all had fun in the indoor pool. Now that I talked about the inside, I’ll let others talk about outside. Suffice it to say that the hotel is 3-5 mins from everything. Food, shopping, entertainment, night time adult dining … I could go on and on but in summary expectations exceeded.

My wife and I came to VaBch to finalize preparations for moving household furnishings from a storage unit there to a place in northern Virginia. The Residence Inn provided an extremely comfortable and convenient base for us. We even extended one night to allow a tropical storm to pass. I definitely would stay again if the occasion arises.

The hotel is an ideal location. Close to main roads, restaurants and shopping. The beach is 15 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and staff was friendly. The one bedroom is spacioust. They have breakfast available until 9am. Although I didn't utilize these amenities, hotel has a pool and a gym for guest use. If im in the town center area again, I will stay at this hotel.

I wish a 2 bedroom was available for my stay. Nothing was wrong with hotel. More entertainment could be available like a pool table.

I liked the room and that it had a small stove to cook and that there were equipment to cook with. I liked that there were two TV's. I liked having a hot breakfast daily. The pool and gym accessibility. I liked that staff were very helpful. The location was perfect and convenient to everything.

I didn't like that the toilet had a weak water pressure which made the toilet take several times to flush. I didn't like that there were no night tables at each side of the beds. Although, there was a centered night table, it made it difficult for those sleeping towards the wall to utilize. I'd prefer the center night table remain and adding to smaller ones at opposite ends of each bed for those sleeping on that side too. Can opener did not work. Blade must not be sharp. I had to open cans with a knife. Not cool.

Clean , the staff were very respectful and pleasant - from the front desk to the breakfast area and housekeepers :)
